I have never had an experience like this at a tire store. I drove a half hour to Walpole to fix a flat after my daughter hit a curb and blew out the sidewall. I am capable of changing a tire myself, so I got out the spare, but there wasn't a jack or a tire iron in the trunk anywhere. New used car. Thought about goin to the local VW dealership. There had to be one close by, we were on Rt 1 afterall, but I saw there was a Town Fair Tire on the the opposite, northbound side of the highway. I went in and offered to buy a tire from them if they lent me a jack and tire iron. The manager said they would come over and change the tire for me. I said I could do it myself, but he insisted. A coupla minutes later Rene came over and started working on the tire. the lug nuts were on so tight, he broke the tire iron. He drove back over to TFT and came back with a breaker bar and got the lug nuts off. Great. We're makin progress. Not so fast.....the spare has a hole in the sidewall and is flat. No problem, says Rene. He took the original tire and drove it back to TFT. He put a new tire on the rim and was back in 20 mins. He put the tire on and I drove over and paid for it. That is what customer service is all about. Rene couldn't have been nicer or more patient with this situation. He put on a comparable tire at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this store for their great prices and even better service. This type of customer service used to be common, now it's rare, but not at Town Fair Tire on Rt1 in Walpole. Fantastic location and staff. I live in Jamaica Plain, so it would be easier for me to go to the Dedham location, rather than going to all the way to the Walpole location. But I prefer the extra drive just to go to this location. This site is very clean, well stocked and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff isn't there to just sell you tires, they work with you to help you find the tires that best fit your needs. I drive a 2017 VW Golf R and since my car is already AWD, I didn't need to go all out when I was buying my set of winter tires. I originally did my own research and had my mind set on what which tires I was going to get. But when I got to the location, I spoke with one of the staff and they told me that since my car already had AWD, I wouldn't need to spend a lot of money on the best winter tires. I've had them switch my winter and summer sets of tires each season and I wouldn't go to anyone other than them. When I visit the store, I'm in and out in no time due to the speed of their technicians. They are fast with their work, but they still maintain a high quality of work. I've never had any issues with their staff or their techs, they are all trained professionals who take their job very seriously. I would highly recommend the drive to this location, even if there is a closet Town Fair Tire. read more

I stopped at this location to replace a tire that got patched in the morning. They didn't have the tire in stock, so I suggested getting the four tires replaced since my car was AWD and needs uniform tires. The gentleman I talked to, Andrew, could have taken this time to oversell me and follow through with the sale. Instead, he gave me an honest answer, and told me my back tires were great and only needed to replace the front two. He was then kind enough to not only reseal the patch and refill the air, but and get the appointment set up and tires ordered for the TFT closer to my home. Without spending one dollar, Andrew provided fantastic and most importantly HONEST customer service. In the auto industry, I feel like that's the most any customer can ask for. This is my third negative experience with Town Fair tire. When I purchased the tires it was charged on their credit card. I got a call one week later stating I bought a set of tires and needed to pay for them. Second was to repair a flat. I went in early in the day and was told it would be best if I made an appointment. I did and came back later in the day. Waited approx. 4 hours for them to fix a tire. I watched others come and go, buying full sets of tires. At 4 hours they told me the tire couldn't be fixed. Third was to fix a flat. I was the first one in the store at 7:45am. They took the car in at 8:19am. At 9:17am they called me in to see a second hole in the tire that couldn't be repaired. Because I had all wheel drive I would need all new tires. I took my tire and ran. WILL NEVER GO BACK! read more

Last weekend on a busy Saturday afternoon at the Walpole Town Fair tire, I rolled a wheel from my car into the store and explained to Peter the Asst Manager that I had broken the valve stem on the tire and was looking for some help repairing it. All of Peter's staff were busy helping other customers so he took the tire himself, rolled it out back and a few minutes later brought it back out front with a new valve and TMPS sensor. He could have just added me to the end to the long list of work for his team to do and I would have sat there all afternoon in the waiting room. But instead he recognized that it would be a quick job and just decided to do it himself... and on top of that he only charged me the cost of the sensor and no charge for his time... I am in town fair tire on this extremely hot day. The big boss was working in the shop Seth was his name and another customer in waiting area had an issue with their car he came to waiting area and explained the issue and how they would fix it. The store manager was giving cold waters to his crew who were working so hard with alot of cars in the bays and the heat in the bays was so hot. The manager in back servce bays Marco was nice explaining issues about the car. The men in the sales area were so friendly. The customer waiting area was clean, stocked with plenty of water to give to us customers waiting in the area. I would go back there for service because of how friendly helpful and caring the staff was but also having them work in this heat. They defintely deserve a free lunch.. read more

I originally called and talked to Tim about a specific brand tire/ size after doing the web shuffle. He ended up beating them all plus had them in the day after next since it was the end of the day. I wasnt able to get there until a half hour before they closed but he was able to get my truck right in to get them installed. I needed the front end aligned Norm was also able to facilitate adding on a 4 wheel alignment for what seemed to be almost half off not to mention he and a few guys had to stay late so I didn't have to come back. I would have gladly brought it back but it was totally appreciated. Its not all that often you get the close relative treatment so I wont be going anywhere else for tires. First time customer, now a lifetime customer! Most professional tire place I've ever experienced! I called on Saturday, ordered a tire and booked an appt for 2PM on Monday to also change from winter to regular tires. The right tire, at the right price was ready and waiting Place was busy, but the team out front worked like a real team making sure every customer was well-attended to. Tim offered the perfect pkg deal on everything, including alignment ( which my car really needed) The mechanic even gives you a print-out of each tire, and which was out of alignment prior. Live video displays the mechanics working in the garage. He said I'd be out of there in 2 hours - and I actually was. Great deal, great service by all! read more

What a class act Team Norm has put together! Norm is the manager over at Town Fair Tire. I have been coming in with my full set of Michelin Defender tires for about 1 year and a half now. I got them there and love them. Team Norm are very dependable people over there. I don't have to wait long to get my tires rotated. I am usually in and out in under a half hour. It makes compliance for the warranty palatable! I have been rotating the tires religiously and have been keeping my front end aligned. They print out the alignment specs unlike NTB so you can see the before and after. They are well staffed with knowledgeable people. Thanks for all the great work you do Team NORM! read more

One day after Town Fair Tire mounted, balance and aligned 4 new tires they installed I accidently drove over new unseen high curbing at Logan Airport. It was night time, snowing lightly and I was accelerating from a full stop merging into a changing road pattern in heavy traffic and did not see the new curbing. The car bottom out and the front end and left side took quite a jolt. I took the car back to Town Fair Tire the next day and in less than an hour they put the car on the lift, checked for under carriage damage, realigned the three of four wheels that were out of align from the accident and had me back on the road--- And at no charge! read more

My hero today was Steve at the Town Fair Tire in Walpole! I needed a front end alignment and two tires replaced. I was exhausted and desperate to get home, and he was so kind. He gave a thorough explanation of what was needed, had the work completed with alacrity, and remained patient and compassionate throughout the process. I had a nearly hour commute to get home and during it, he called to check in and make sure that the car was working well and that I felt safe on the highway. I went in with a tire that kept loosing pressure and saw Steve, and they attempted to fix it but the rim was damaged (no charge). Went back a couple of days later for a wheel alignment which took less than an hour and at a good price (David). Returned the next day with a used wheel/rim that was mounted and balanced by the used auto parts place. However, they couldn't clear the "low tire pressure" light on the dashboard. So I went back to the Walpole Store and saw Andrew who cleared it, checked all the tires for pressure and gave me back my car in 10 minutes at no charge!! The service here is great! I purchased new tires for my SUV and experienced an issue with one of the tires losing air. I brought my car in and was impressed with the attention that I received in dealing with my tire issue. Scott was great to work with and made my issue become a priority for his tire technicians that morning. Russell, the technician that worked on my car, had a great sense of humor and was very methodical in locating the issue. I was in this shop today in the heat and needed new valves put in my tires. The service manager in the bay area took the time in the heat and explained to me exactly what he did, and put air in my tires. The shop lobby area was clean and air conditioned and the staff in shop was helpful and friendly. I would defintely use this shop again in future from their great customer service. On Friday night 2/6 I popped a tire in a pot hole getting onto Route 1. A total stranger stopped to help my daughter and I. When we called Town Fair in Walpole, they went above and beyond to help. The Manager came out on his way ho e to check on us and had another team member help remove the tire. They brought us to the shop and replaced my tire.
