10/10 on EVERYTHING. I'm writing this before I finish my meal because I'm extremely impressed. Some of the food they offer is creative and unique, but now outlandish. Our server was great with our kids, and extremely accommodating to our needs. They were out of the wine I ordered so I got a different kind at the same price. Has a bar but still comfortable enough to bring your little ones. Game room upstairs too! And I'd personally say the price is on point for the experience and food you get. I will say a long ago I stopped going here. However more recently a friend asked me to meet him here for drinks. After being back a few times I'm happy to say the service is very good now and the food is quite good also. Sometimes it's hard to get good french fries at most places for example but each time here I was able to get Hot french fries that were crispy. The wraps are very good. Went to Townline for Friday fish fry, a Wisconsin restaurant staple. Ordered deep fried cod dinner. Fish was cold in the center. They offered to replace with a new order. I booked a work Holiday Party with Townline and they were absolutely wonderful to work with!! I called and told them what I was looking for and Dave was so easy to work with and made my job easy to organize under a tight timeline. When we arrived the upstairs room was already decorated with holiday decor and exactly the right size for our smaller party of just over 30. The staff was very, very nice and interacted well with our team. The food spread was way more than I expected and the prices were extremely reasonable. We stopped for an early dinner on a Friday and were surprised that it wasn't busier. The bar was packed but the dining room was empty so we got a table right away. The service was fantastic and I wish I could remember our waitress's name because she was great. It was my fiancé's birthday and she even brought out an ice cream sundae for him! He ordered the thin crust Townline Special pizza (sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, and bacon pieces) and loved it. He also wanted some buffalo wings and asked if they could do Garlic Buffalo wings instead. They special made them for him and he said they were sooooooo good! I custom ordered something, too. While it tasted good, I probably wouldn't order it again because it was so messy and fell apart all over the plate. I started by ordering the Lombardi burger (which comes with sautéed onions and artichoke dip on the burger). Being a vegetarian, I replaced the burger with the black bean burger patty and substituted a pretzel bun. It came out perfectly with the side I chose: mashed potatoes minus the gravy. They were delicious and tasted homemade. I just thought the burger was too mushy and messy. Warning- Stay away from the coleslaw! It has pickles in it and was awful! I love coleslaw and it looked so good but the pickles were just wrong. We should have told someone, but instead we just left the bowl uneaten (which I felt bad about but it was gross!) But.... YOU HAVE TO ORDER GARLIC BREAD (or even the cheese garlic bread). The marinara dipping sauce that they serve with the bread is the best sauce I've ever tasted. TONS of garlic and big chunks of tomato and onion! YUMMMMM! It was literally so good that once the bread was gone, I kept eating the sauce with a fork. I never would go to a restaurant and order plain old spaghetti (because I feel like that's too cheap and easy to make to order out), but if this is the sauce that comes on the regular spaghetti pasta dish, I am going to order it next time. What was even worse was the horrible customer service provided by one of the "managers" that I talked to. He was incredibly rude, condescending and couldn't have handled the situation any worse. After literally arguing with him for 10 minutes on a refund (which I had been promised the night before by the person who answered the phone) he only agreed to send me a gift card which I will never use 1) because of his attitude and how they treat customers and 2) because the food was awful. Service was fine but a bit slow considering the place wasn't busy and not especially attentive. Prices were in line for the area. The food was the biggest issue. First ordered a Hefeweizen (German wheat beer) which was served in a frosted pint glass. Don't make a big deal about all the beers you serve unless you know how to serve them. The walleye fingers were quite good but the chips and salsa were something else. Varying degrees of spice on the chips (some too spicy to eat) served with salsa that was hardly beyond marinara sauce, nacho cheese that looked like it came from a dispenser and something they called guacamole that obviously was squeezed from a tube. read more

Usually we have very good service,but sat. night we were there for dinner. The food was so-so, the service was lousy. The waitress must have been new, because all 4 of us got the wrong food, it wasn't prepared right, and it took a long time to get our order. The waitress didn't show any urgency in getting it corrected, and did not offer any refills. No apology was offered, nor any discount of any kind. Her whole attitude was very apathetic. I realize she is young and probably a new waitress, but someone should explain to her that she could smile a little and if anything is wrong, to show some urgency to correct it. We were there on Saturday on memorial day weekend at about 5:00 pm. We might go someplace else next time if we get her for a waitress. read more

Amazing service on this past Friday! It took a few minutes to get seated which is to be expected at 515pm. The waitress seated us outdoors, gave us menus, and brought out waters right away. The service was amazing! The waitress checked in enough but not too much! I had the peanut butter bacon burger. Huge burger with peanut butter and bacon. And a side of fries. It was reasonably priced at $9.99. My other half had the perch. Quite honestly, it's not the best perch in town. The breading was light and flavor good. The tartar was quite delicious as well. We came here after my brother's graduation. The waiter was very cordial, but holy moley, my brother ordered a double rum and coke, and there was pink frost lipstick on his glass. How can the bartender not notice that, and then the waiter that brought it out didn't notice it either! YUCK! He didn't even see it until he was about halfway done with his drink. Even worse! So there was soup on Friday night. Clam chowder. Some people like to eat fish on Fridays still. No mention that there was bacon in it. The manager was like, "Oh every restaurant adds bacon to their clam chowder." That's not true, either. I've been to a good many restaurants in the area, and one of my favorite places to go does not add bacon to theirs. So that's two strikes, one for the gross lipstick, and one for the really unpleasant manager. The manager had been drinking at the bar (!) when my brother's girlfriend went to complain about being grossed out by the lipstick. He told us in no uncertain terms, "If you don't want to come back here again, that's your choice." Basically, he didn't care about our business at all. That was it then. Yes, he took the clam chowder off. Yes, he took that drink off, but the whole experience of it was really disgusting. The manager didn't seem embarrassed about what was presented to us or anything.
