A very reasonable question. He became defensive and rude and said in a very snarky manner "well why didn't you buy it from somewhere else that does have it." Throughout the process of email communications, texts, and 2 visits to the dealership (the first to look at the vehicle and talk further, the second to complete the paperwork and pick up my car), Ryan was very responsive, efficient, knowledgeable, and a consummate professional, making him an absolute pleasure to work with. He walked me through the process every step of the way and informed me what I needed to prepare. He was also always on-time for our appointments and if there was any anticipated delay, he let me know in advance. When it came time to lock down the vehicle I wanted, a 2025 Corolla LE, I appreciated the effort that Ryan and his team made to search for my desired color and trim at dealerships within a 150 mi radius. At first, white and silver with black interior were nowhere to be found, so I was prepared to settle for my 3rd choice in celestite (if even available), but he and his team were able to locate one in silver! The car was located at another dealership about an hour away. Ryan arranged a vehicle swap with the other dealership and he and his team member went to pick up my car and bring it back to his dealership. He then thoroughly prepared the vehicle for delivery to me and walked me through setting up some features and communicating key information to me. The entire sales process was highly efficient and well-executed. On top of that, the particular Corolla LE he was going to retrieve for me even had a lower final price. Once done with sales, I headed over next door to the finance manager Brian Wibben, where he thoroughly went over my warranty, servicing, and GAP package options, as well as the financing details. He patiently answered all of my questions and presented his recommendations very well. I then made my selections, and we completed all of the paperwork very efficiently using a large table-top electronic screen. All of my docs were then e-mailed to me and placed on a USB thumb drive. Like Ryan, Brian was highly competent, efficient, friendly and a consummate professional. I've dealt with finance departments at other auto dealerships where I left with a less than stellar experience and impression, but that wasn't my experience with Brian. He made the process and entire experience a positive one. I have a feeling that even though I was only in the market for a 2025 Toyota Corolla LE, I still got the same quality service and treatment that someone buying a Landcruiser or Sequoia would have gotten. I'm grateful to Toyota Vallejo for their attentiveness and willingness to help me with my vehicle need and want to give their dealership and these two amazing team members a well-deserved shout out. If I am in the market for another Toyota, this dealership and these exceptional team members are the reason that they will be my "go-to" dealership for my next Toyota. I confirmed a Toyota RAV4 was available and scheduled a 10:00am test drive (their opening time). The appointment was confirmed the day before and again the morning of. I drove 40 minutes to the dealership, only to receive a call 13 minutes before my appointment saying the car had been sold. This was a complete waste of time. Given how many similar complaints appear in Google and Yelp reviews, it feels like classic bait-and-switch tactics -- listing affordable cars to get customers in the door, then claiming they're suddenly unavailable. My last service visit for a 60K mile service on my 2014 Prius C it cost $1600. Then 7 months later I was told all I needed was a free inspection. At that $30 inspection I was told in a very serious manner that my timing belt cover and oil pan were leaking with a cost of $3859.72 (plus tax?) to fix. "not seeping, leaking" I was told. Deciding to get it looked at elsewhere I learned that the seeping, not leaking, was not serious possibly remaining light for a long time, and as the engine was not losing any oil, not even a hair width on the dip stick, it may have been the result of some very hot weather driving, as I happened to do last summer driving my car for 8 hours straight with rest stops only in the heat of summer when I moved. If you Google it, a timing belt cover just requires monitoring over time and no immediate action, and it may even remain this way for years. I have a new mechanic now. From Google: "Not considered a serious issue: A timing belt cover seepage in a Toyota Prius C is generally not considered a serious issue. If the seepage is minor and does not result in oil loss, it may not require immediate attention. However, it is important to monitor the oil level and check for any signs of oil leakage. If the seepage is significant or if there are concerns about the vehicle's performance, it is advisable to consult a professional mechanic." read more

I was looking to get a new fuel efficient car and decided to look online at my local Toyota dealership. I found a Toyota RAV4 plug-in hybrid that hadn't been built yet but it was exactly the color and model I wanted that was fully loaded. I put in an inquiry through the website and Ryan Asuncion quickly emailed me and we chatted on the phone as well. I went to the dealership the next day to test drive a normal RAV4 to get a feel for the car. I liked how smooth the ride was. I was also looking at the cargo capacity for fitting my electric scooter for my daily commute. They even let me test it out right there. I was sold!! So I put $500 deposit to reserve the car.
