Mediocre, the boba is just okay it's not amazing but it isn't the worst I've had. HOWEVER, for the price personally I wouldn't choose to go here, it's close to me so it's convenient but I'd rather spend the extra 5 or so minutes driving to another place like toro tea. The service is fine not really any complaints all the workers are pretty nice. The ambiance is pretty good very typical boba shop vibe nothing really special but not bad. I was back in the area and saw TP Tea had opened up by the HMart and I had to try because I really didn't want to drive to Irvine... lol I got the good ol classic tieguanyin milk tea with grass jelly (30% sweet) and it hit the spot. Unlike many other places, I can still taste the tea and it was perfectly balanced with the milk. Tea, but silky smooth with the milk. Paired with the grass jelly? Perfect afternoon pick me up. Some days are better than others, but I find the strawberry milk tea to be a little bit watered down with less strawberry flavor, and the tie guan yin to have not as strong tea flavor. Some days are better than others as I've been here multiple times, but in general I feel like the other TP Tea locations are more consistent and have stronger flavor. They have a variety of drinks including milk teas, cheese cream foam drinks, smoothies, brown sugar boba drinks, brulee tornado drinks, fruit teas, pure teas, matcha drinks, coffee drinks, and tea lattes. Toppings you can choose from include boba, pudding, grass jelly, tea jelly, qq noodles, lychee jelly, coffee jelly, crystal boba, and aiyu jelly. I was greeted upon entry. The cashier was super warm and friendly. I ended up ordering the Taiwan Classic Milk Tea which comes with boba, qq noodles, and grass jelly. I was asked about my sweetness and ice level to which I just stated regular for everything (100% sugar, regular ice). I was then told to input my phone number onto the tablet. Once I placed my order, it showed up on the LCD screen on the wall near the counter with my name and a wait time. There were already a couple of names on the LCD screen with wait times. The screen cleared up rather quickly as everyone that was there before me received their drinks. My wait time was around 15 minutes but I ended up receiving my drink within 5 minutes. The Taiwan Classic Milk Tea was great. I enjoyed the milk tea flavor as it was more on the milkier side. Their milk tea flavor isn't anything unique but it's the kind I like as it's similar to Happy Lemon's milk tea. The toppings slid up the straw easily. The boba and qq noodles were sweet, soft, chewy, and bouncy. The grass jelly was a bit on the mushy side but it didn't bother me too much. It was a party in every sip as it was rare for me not to get toppings with every sip. It was nice and cool inside the the shop. There's a cute boba logo inside the shop. They offer BOGO on certain drinks. The choices for the free drinks are Tie Guan Yin fresh milk tea, boba milk tea, passionfruit green tea, and tie guan yin milk tea. You're able to add toppings for an additional charge. The line was about a 30-minute wait. We try out the mango cheese cream foam and the Tie Guan Yin milk tea. I added the qq noodles to my drink. Both drinks were done well. I especially like the mango jelly in the mango drink. I like that we can customize our sweetness and ice level. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and my bf ordered the Taiwan milik tea. Compared to boba guys, I thought the strawberry matcha latte was lacking. It tasted a bit more artificial than I would've liked. I probably won't order this in the future but I remember their Tie Guan Tea being very good! I also wasn't a fan of my bf's taiwan milik tea. I like their system which can text you when your order is ready, and it can show you who is next up. Due to the amount of people we had to wait over 10 min our due time, which like I mentioned, it is probably due to their soft opening. The drinks were good, and boba was fresh and "Que" . The tea drinks had a very good amount of tea flavor compared to many other places that we go. We tried the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea and the Tie Guan Yin Oolong. The drinks seem to be one size and cost about $6 each, so 4 drinks can get ya up to close to $30. I am here after a few days of soft opening. Line is there at Diamond bar location and it is located right next to Koio in the same plaza. Ambiance is more upscale, but not a lot of places to seat. It can be a challenge for weekend patrons. Service is mainly thru the Kiosk. There is manager or owner who greets and answers any questions for you and made suggestions based on experience.
