Love how big and spacey the place is. Been there many times now. The lines are usually empty because the Avenue close pretty early. The line won't take that long and the orders are pretty fast. Everyone's complaining about the boba but I'm okay with it. I love how chewy and soft it is. The staff are really friendly and nice too. Gave samples and recommendations as well as assisted me when I thought something was wrong with my drinks. I'd take this over the SF and SM ones. read more

the first time i walked in this store, i was expecting a bigger place for people to sit and chat for a while but that was fine because you could just go outside and walk/ talk with your friends. its a bit small but not too small where you'll be squished. the line was ok and not that long but i went in the morning. i ordered a peach mango black milk tea with honey boba and lightly sweetened. it was my first time and by the time i sipped it, IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. and btw, you get the stuff you need on the counter which is really nice. the one at the front was really nice and all the workers looked happy which gave me a nice vibe. this place was really great and im for sure coming again and trying different kinds of drinks! i love tpumps so far and the drink i ordered the price was $4.05 and i got the biggest size. in case you were wondering and the drink filled me up for the whole day and tbh, i didnt want it to end and writing this review, i want another! read more

This location is better than the foster city one drink-wise. However, the staff is a lot bitchier than the foster city one. I had 10 points with my 5 star card and wanted to use my free drink, but was informed that I would have to wait until the next time. So I asked the girl to just separate the orders. Instead of just complying, I received a bitchy remark with a smile on her face. I was also told to "keep it on the DL." I don't know what is so special about separating an order of 2 drinks into 2 separate orders, but I did not need to be questioned. It's not that hard, doesn't really take any effort, so I don't know what the big deal was. Sorry you had to press a few extra buttons. I know that can be really stressful. Even though my drink is good, that left a bad taste in my mouth. Don't be bitchy with a smile on your face- that's fake. Either be consistently nice or consistently rude. Is it me or does their tea seem very watered down? I originally got a Black Milk Tea with Boba light sweet and it tasted like water - hardly any flavor at all. She helped to remake it to normal sweet and that was slightly better, but not good enough to entice me to finish the drink. The boba was fairly good though. read more

I'm a lot older than I used to be. You kids with your youthful exuberance will learn that one day. So while this place would be a boon for 15 year old me, its charms are wasted on not-15 year old me. I personally think Tpumps is way too hyped. I've tried a ton of different boba places and the social media buzz it gets doesn't add up to the quality of their drinks. I find it super disappointing to have to wait in a ridiculously long line just to get so-so quality boba. For the amount of business you get you'd think they wouldn't have to be stingy but they really do rip you off with the amount of boba balls they give you. It seriously didn't even cover the bottom of my cup. The tea is also low quality and watery compared to other places and the drink ends up tasting like an artificial flavor and sugar overload. My favorite tpumps in the bay area. Standard tpumps but the lines here typically go faster than other ones. This location however has less parking. It is in the heart of downtown burlingame and is close to many other great locations as well. read more

The girl working the register was rude af no people skills whatsoever. It was first time visiting tpunps so I had little knowledge of their drinks. This is the only place for boba, either SM or Bgame location. Much better than Ocha or Quickly or any other budget boba place. I usually go for honey-almond or mango-passion, and both satisfy! I love it here. It's like a chipotle for drinks! You pick the flavor, sweetness, cream or no cream, what kind of boba and other toppings, iced, slushie or hot. There's so many choices I usually ask them what's popular or pick something off the favorites board. I like the one with passion fruit tangerine and green tea! I used to go to the San Mateo location and got hooked on Tpumps. I was psyched when they opened the B'game location since it's a lot closer to me, however the quality of the drinks is way inferior to what I was used to at the San Mateo location. The milk tea seems really watered down, not much flavor. Also, I'm really disappointed because they have gotten so stingy with the boba, they give you less than half of what they used to at San Mateo. I was a Tpumps loyalist but I hate to say that I'm never going back to the B'game location again. Quickly actually serves a more consistent drink. read more

Great bubble tea. Terrible service and organization. There's a line out the door currently and they only have one person on the register and 4 people in the bubble tea making area. One of whom has only been cleaning. Another two are in the back. They need to add another to the register, and have a professional manager around to direct the staff. This place isn't too bad. You can customize drinks which is one thing i like. They also offer your sample of drinks depending what they are sampling that day. Customer service is great as well. All the young employees are very helpful and your drinks arrive fast. The line does get pretty long on hot days. Crowd is typically millbrae burgingame young kids. The Tpumps drinks are pretty good. I would give it 5 stars but they give really little boba. I ordered some drinks, mix of regulars and larges. They give the same amount of boba for each cup. I thought they'd give more boba in the large since it's a lot more drink in the cup. The next few times I went, I asked for extra boba, and the amount was still very little. Yay! Boba near Caltrain. Humble interior, no seating, but great flavor selection and really great that you can select your sweetness level.

Depending on when you go the line can vary but usually its short for me and the customer service is good. They have a good variety of flavors and you can mix up to 3 flavors. Def think its worth it :) read more
