I placed an order for 5 bowls and a refresher, thought I'd try a few diff flavors ($57). I ordered directly from your website for Door Dash delivery. Dasher delivered one bowl (not my order) with someone else's name on the order. I gave it back to the delivery driver, who expressed how it's gonna mess up HIS TIME now. There is no phone number listed for the Redlands store, only message info avail. I sent a message and no response. Now what?!!? Very disappointed. *UPDATE: an hour after making this review, the store called me, asking if I wanted to pickup the order or refund. Didn't at all offer an apology. Suggested I pickup the order. I explained I was sick and unable to drive, which is why I paid extra for door dash. I expressed how disappointed in the experience and emp then said sorry. This place is a great healthy option. They serve different types of healthy shakes and fruit bowls. I absolutely love the sea moss bowl (Mmmmm) and the cali vibe is really good as well. I have been enjoying acai bowls for a while now and have tried the ones offered by various local venues. However, I find the acai bowls at TRubowl to be excessively sweet and overly complex, almost like a dessert take on the traditional acai bowl. While I think some people might enjoy this style, it's personally not to my taste. read more

I really enjoy coming here for the bowls, but man...their service needs improvement. Don't get me wrong, they're nice..but there's always a long wait, and the whole "Skip the line, order thru the app" thing doesn't help either. I waited almost 40 minutes for mine. I ordered at 10:35am, came there, and the app notified that my order was ready for pickup at 10:50am, I waited for one of them to at least acknowledge me, but I stood there for 5 minutes until I spoke up and said Im here to pick up. I have to mention that as I was standing there, I see them just skip over my order receipt (with my name on it) and go over to the other orders. My order was the first one and I don't know how long it's been on the wall. And the girl said, "we're still working on it" with no "sorry" or anything. Like girl, I see you skip over my order receipt behind the counter. They decided to work on my order quickly AFTER the fact that I said Im here to pick up my order. All the young people are super nice! They do the best they can, and have amazing customer service. But the owner Cindy is a different story.... Anytime I go in she's very short and talks in monotone, and always likes to change extra for little things. like a PINCH of power on the top. my hubby doesn't really like to eat açaí bowls but my wife loves them !! let me just say... this place is spectacular!! my husband tried the buttah bowl and he actually liked it so so much, my wifey on the other hand got the rio bowl and she was shaking she thought it was so good, the coconut flakes were the icing on the cake... now me, what I ordered, was the EZ-Tru and ugh oh my goodness gracious.... I was so excited to try this new place. I got the "ButtahLovah" açaí bowl yesterday and I unfortunately woke up to really bad food poisoning (all symptoms included). It's really bad because I had to miss a clinical rotation for nursing school. I wasn't able to get in touch with the business, so I went ahead and looked up the reviews. On both google and yelp, there have also been multiple cases of food poisoning within the past 2-3 days of this post. I really did not enjoy this experience. read more

It was my first time trying true bowls this evening, and I was not pleased with the outcome of my bowl. When I first got my bowl, my açai base was basically frozen. Couldn't even eat it. This place has the potential to be great but unfortunately has terrible management that has understaffed and hasn't provided enough support to trained. We waited 30+ minutes for our bowls and at one point my bowl just sat out melting as they took more orders. Someone needed a refund because they had waited so long and needed to leave. It was also shared that the employees hadn't been paid. No manager on duty. The tables were dirty. So disappointing. I felt so bad for the young adults working there. read more

No option for 0 stars....This place gave us food poisoning! My husband and two small boys wanted to get a hot afternoon treat and decided to stay on the healthy side and went to try this new place in Redlands. In the middle of the night, we all woke up vomiting and had diarrhea all at the same time our stools became pure liquid, and there were times where we were sitting on the toilet holding a bucket because we were puking at the same time. Long story short we had to miss work and school and still did not feel better after two days. When I called the store to let them know about what we had experienced , the person that answered the phone told me that her boss had already text the employees letting them know that people had got food poisoning. I asked her how did her boss know that we had food poisoning if we had never reported it till now? the person on the phone said that maybe it was somebody else that had called in but the employees were aware and she was sorry for the inconvenience. I asked her to have the boss call me back and she said they were only popping in every now and then and didn't know if they would call me back. I didn't want to leave a nasty review because I didn't want to tarnish the reputation of this place considering they were new, however, feeling the way my family and I have felt for the last two days and the response I got back made my decision a lot easier. I would not recommend this place nor would I risk trying it ever again. read more
