I'm convinced that customers are just a huge inconvenience for the employees at the Antelope location. I've gotten the impression from prior visits, but today took the cake. I received the text that my online order was ready for pickup, packed up my kids and parked in the curbside spot. I called, gave my name, and they confirmed it was there. And we waited. And waited. And waited. So, I get everyone's shoes on, unpack the kids, and head inside to see what was going on. Gave the cashier my name, she unlocked the locker and verified that my order was indeed there, and asked if I needed help out (that's 80 lbs of feed while I had 3 young children with me.) And then waited another 10 minutes for her to locate another employee and him to sort out charging whatever device he needed charged. It would've been quicker to drive the 20 minutes to Rocklin -- which I will do every time from now on. read more

I saw an article how pine pellet bedding for large and small animals works great as a very healthy pellet style cat litter that is used with pellet sifting style cat litter box sold at Tractor Supply. I have tried other pellets in the past none of them ever held up to the claims. However, their store brand pellet bedding is very different. I ordered it on line and picked it up within an hour. Forty pounds of the pellets only cost around $7.99. What a deal. I have been spending much more with clay or walnut shell type litters and wasn't happy with the chemical smell and what it might be doing to my cats. In addition, it wasn't doing a good job with urine odors after a few days. The change is awesome and my house smells great. When I got to the store, I parked by the store merchandise pick-up parking spots. I called the number posted and within just a couple minutes, a very friendly employee brought it right to my car and loaded it for me!!! What great service. Thanks so much. read more

Some of the workers are great and some of the workers not helpful at all ... especially short brown haired girl at front counter. I was there for online pick up and the girl acted like it was an Inconvenience to open cabinet order was in , she then said here it is and the order was missing 4 bags of food and she said she don't know she didn't pack order . Absolutely no help i had to go through digging through everyone's online orders to correctly collect my orders. Great store for work supplies, my husband buys his steel toe boots here. Zero issue when returning boots due to an issue. They have helped him at least twice. They sell dog food and farm food. They also have a few backyard supplies, a clothes section. Plaids, coats for harsh weather, boots for the littles and adults, socks. Hats & beanies! When in season they have chicks! They can deliver an item they don't have, but can't cancel or refund. This is a warning for people who might get messed up over this same system limitation. To be fair, the manager I spoke with was trying to help, and did attempt to act on the situation. The delivery driver, however, much preferred the convenience of saying an item was delivered, and never reaching out to the person who didn't receive it. So i suppose this review is more for them, and the system that allows nothing to be "delivered". read more

Poorly stocked and staffed. There were only 2 employees on duty - which made getting any customer service difficult and time consuming. I had a list of a half dozen items I needed and only a single item was in stock. I just left and went to the Walmart across the street, where they had all but one item on my list. Also I saved money as Walmart's prices for the same exact items were a good bit cheaper. She then turns around and asks can I help you? I said thought you were taking me to them. She says no, they are over there. Idk where over there is. Ask another person says the same thing. They are taking all the necessary precautions during these times, even providing a mask if you don't have one! The employees always make sure you are finding everything you need and know your name and your needs if you're a regular customer. Not at all impressed with this store. First time visit to this location. There were several Shoppers in the store that we're not wearing masks. I'm not sure why the store does not enforce its mask policy especially in these dangerous times. I tried to find a cart as I was looking to buy some items that were too big to carry. There were none outside and none available in the store. There was only about a dozen cars in the parking lot. It's not like they were really busy or anyting and there were several carts in the store that were full of merchandise that apparently the employees were using to move merchandise in stock shelves with. I literally had to wait outside for a customer to finish using their cart and to go over and get it. I did not see any cleaning supplies available to sanitize the cart before using it. Several of the items that I needed to purchase did not have price tags on them. I had to bring a couple of the items to the front counter in order to determine the cost before going through the checkout line. The store generally seems to be very disorganized and there's plenty of bare spots with nothing on the shelves and other areas with stuff that looks like it's arranged in a very sloppy manner. I think the next time I need to go to this type of store I'll choose a different location. read more

This store deserves 0 stars! My experience with your store (both online and Antelope) was horrible and stressful. I ordered online 4 items, 1 item hasn't arrived while the 3 others items are already in store on the 20th of March. I called the store and was assured by the one in charge of releasing the online orders that it will stay there in the store until all orders are complete. On Monday (23rd), the first batch of my order was cancelled because it was not picked up after 2 days. I called again to make sure not to send it back and I was assured it will be on the floor. I requested to gather it so that when I go to pick it up it will be available with my second order. I was given assurances. On Tuesday (24th), the second half of the order arrived. I called the store to verify if it is indeed there. The guy in charge of online order said it is not in there. I said I received notification that it is in your store. He said sometimes USPS will say delivered when it isn't in their store yet so he said give it another day. Today Wednesday (25th March) I asked that all items from the first and second batch be gathered ready for pick up. The male staff refused and left me hanging for half an hour. When I redialed, the lady manager was also rude,she said everybody's busy, the store is very busy and won't be doing any shopping for a customer. Well that's why I shopped online so that you can pick the items from the floor and gather it for curbside pickup. She even said why are you picking up your orders just now when it is a Wednesday? I said well I was ready to pick it up Tuesday but your guys said the item hasn't reached your store yet even if the customer received notification because sometimes USPS reported its delivered when actually it wasn't. She agreed that yes sometimes it happens but hung up on me. Everybody is rude and gave me different answers each time I called. Some will be friendly to assure me it will be here (maybe just to get me off the phone) while others are plain rude with no customer service skills. I will cancel my order and tell the credit card to decline the payment. In your website you said that due to the corona virus outbreak you will take special consideration to your customers and would even bring out the items to the vehicle for curbside pick up. Well it doesn't look like it from my experience. Normally, a lot of people buying is a sign of good business but for Tractor Supply, customers are not welcome. They won't do the EXTRA MILE for us. The manager is unable to handle stress and so do to the staff. It is all publicity because all companies are releasing notices about what they can do during this challenging times so this company wants to jump on the bandwagon. In practice the employees don't care as long as they get their wages. Shame on your company, your online store, all the employees especially the lady who can't handle stress from customers. Discovered they sell inexpensive cat food (for my ferals), but since they don't stock it on the shelves I have to order ahead for pick up. The first time I waited 30 minutes outside, calling several times to alert them I was ready. Finally went in, waiting another 15 minutes for assistance. Chalked it up to poor timing, since the store was very busy. The second time, after being informed the order was ready, I went first thing in the morning. Despite only a few customers, I still had to wait 30 minutes for assistance, while the cashier admonished me for being impatient. I'm back to paying more for cat food at Sam's Club. read more

Reached out to the corporate customer service on Tuesday morning , asked for an email follow up. Got a voice mail instead that basically said, "not sure what happened." Sent another inquiry today, Thursday; got a call from corporate that they called the store, drivers were sick. Fine, I get it. The manager promised to deliver it today. Didn't happen, and no discussion of a refund on the cost. I get it, things happen, but this is frustrating when I wanted to shop relatively locally. Back to Amazon for me. read more

No stars if I could get away with it. Customer service is non-existent. Its 9/18/20 a Friday @ 4:49p. I called ahead to see if they had food grade lye in order to cure olives. We had left Home Depot and needed this product. She stuck me on hold. 11 minutes no answer. I was still on hold with them, when I walked in the store. 7 cars in the parking lot. NOT BUSY.. Asked for the manager (Jarett) who was reluctant to come up (2 over head requests) Explained my complaint and bad customer service. Guess I should of known I was wasting his time... I hate to even give this a star. Went to purchase chicks. While choosing which ones the manager said oh one didn't make it and she just left it there with the other chicks stepping all around. Then right in the middle of choosing left mid conversation w half the chicks waiting in box and never came back. I tracked down someone else and he had no idea what was needed or where to find things and again left to help other customers while on his way to find answers. He also never came back. I had to look around store for him. I finally gave up and left but told him to please not forget the chicks that were in the box on the counter. I fear they will probably never be seen again. This tractor is my most favorite. Their management team is great. I always get exceptional help by either Christina, Derek, or Maddie. They are the only place around me that carries my giant bag of dog food and anything else I may need around the farm. It's always very clean and well organized as well. The complaints about cat and dog vaccines really don't apply to this company. Tractor Supply offers a room for VIP to provide the vaccines. The company and their staff are under no obligation to deal with VIP scheduling problems, signage, or even customer questions about VIP. There are signs to point folks to the room for vaccines. Providing a wall for the signs is the extent of Tractor Supply's obligations. Now, when I go to the store to buy products from Tractor Supply, the staff has been extremely helpful, especially if you have more exoctic pets, like rabbits. Please don't complain about a company who's only mission is to supply a free room. At least it's inside. At my last low cost clinic, I had to wait outside in 100 degree heat to get my kitty shots. read more
