Scheduled a routine sB1 service here last week. I called ahead and made the appointment and told them it's just a B1 service. Day of the appointment that's the only code showing on my car. I work graveyard so I asked my girlfriend to drop the car off. When she got there an advisor claimed there is now 2 codes showing. She did not want to call and wake me up so she told them to go ahead and do it (she should have called me) When I go to pick up the car I have a $300+ charge that was never cleared by me. The service Manager Jeremy said California state law allows them to accept extra work by the person dropping it off and that they don't need to call the person who made the appointment or the owner of the car. Understanding my frustration, the manager gave me 10% off the work that I never approved in the first place.. I called Acura today and they confirmed they will only proceed with more work with the number on file for the car. Have been getting my Acura serviced here for years, and this experience has unfortunately lost them any future business from me. read more

I saw that this dealership had two and because I'm local I thought how perfect! Unfortunately, when I walked in and asked to check out the car, the salesmen kept referring to "these type of buyers" as if I'm not one of them. The salesmen said "these type of buyers don't like people touching their car." I understand not being allowed to test drive but we got scolded for touching the inside of the car. I made an appointment for today to get my wife's car problem fixed. I was surprised when the customer service rep (business card on his station shows C. M. Initials) asked if I've ordered the part/s ahead of time. Otherwise, he said that my car would not be repaired today because they would have to order it, if they don't carry it. Which shop does this? He didn't even consider asking or calling his part's guy, which is a few steps away from him, to see if they carry the part/s at all. Wasn't a big deal but he made me check the parts department myself. Hopefully, its the only part they need to fix the problem. If not, I guess they'd expect that I know which other parts to order. I made the service appointment online. Since rhe drop down menus didnt really have the type of repair I needed, I described the problem under the Notes section. He said they dont really review the Notes section until the car is already in the shop. Another senseless statement. Well, car is done. Problem was fixed. As it turned out, no part had to be replaced! Lets just say that it wasn't the usual good customer service experience I had today, Honda Tracy Service Center! read more

Won't budge and just string you along, thankfully i was already set on getting my vehicle and just sat there listening Also was told the car would be detailed, or at the very least cleaned - it wasn't. Food crumbs or whatever in the center console, TONS of tape residue from their signings inside the car, a ton of minor things. I don't know about the sales aspect, but Service was a nightmare. My daughter is 19 and learning how to become a young adult. She asked if she could take her car in for Service. I said fine since it was a simple service (A1). After the service was done, she was handed the proper paperwork to show what was done and what needs attention. They tried to charge her $50 for tire rotation ($20 all the time), then tried to add on additional $200 in charges with what they classified as being in the yellow. What was in the Yellow column would be taken care of in her next Oil change (B 1 2). She called me because she was feeling pressured, she didn't understand what they were telling her, they wouldn't go into full explanation of what was being said that should be done. I told her to get out of there. She paid for the oil change and left. I called and spoke with our Service Advisor, Dylan. He wanted for me to bring it back in and would give me a discount in what needs to be done. He wanted to gain our trust back. I made an appointment for the following Tuesday. I came down with a cold and didn't want to go due to that reason. I called and canceled. Left a voicemail. Then three days passed, left another voicemail. Haven't heard anything, so I left my final message a week from the second one. No response. I then called the Service Manager and the first thing he stated about Dylan is that he lacks "staying in touch with his customers". That truly baffled me. If you are working with customers on a daily business, especially in Service, then communication skills should be top notch. It is a people business. All in all, her new service light came on and went to a different Honda dealership. read more

I have bought two cars from this location after 2 payment on my 2021 CRV I went to start my car and something was just wrong. I took the car in to service and was told the car had rodent damage. None of the 3 warranties I have would cover. I was told this happened over time, and I needed to call my insurance to cover damage but as a reminder I've only had my car about 3 months. Prior to purchasing my car it was sitting very close to the dirt fields behind the dealership for very close to a month if not longer. As much as I love my Honda and have been loyal to the brand I was not assisted in this at all. I have 5 cars in my drive way none of which were damaged. I never write reviews but I feel as though I was not helped as I should have been. They assumed the damage was done at my house and never even thought to ask how long I had the car or if it was possible that the car sitting in the parking lot for over a month could have been the issue. My service advisor was great she was kind and told me she was so sorry this has happened. Has Anyone else had this rodent damage issue as soon as the purchased a new car? Not only did I put down a substantial down payment, I am now going to be out 500 for my insurance deductible because none of my 3 warranties cover this issue. This is not how such a large brand should honor loyal customers I'm very disappointed with this. read more

Geo Rower, James Herren, and Steve Honnoll were absolutely amazing. From start to finish they had me covered. Let me start from the beginning... I arrived at Honda of Tracy first thing in the morning. I knew I wanted to trade in my Hyundai Elantra for a Honda Civic. Unfortunately, they didn't have the particular one I was looking for (sad face) but then Geo Rower came outside to assist me and showed me the same car but in a color I didn't know I wanted and needed, lol. I love that Geo wasn't pushy, he was super friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. My fiancé and I test drove the 2022 Honda Civic Sport in the color Sonic Gray Pearl. I instantly fell in love. So after falling in love with the car it was time to see if I qualified. We went inside and that's when the grueling process started. I recently used my credit to get my fiancés car and had almost paid off my Hyundai Elantra and did not realize my fiancés car would make it difficult for my financing. After a couple hours James Herren came over to introduce himself and told us not to worry and that they were working hard. Also, that we were like family at this point with how long we had been there already, lol. Geo was running back and forth to make sure we knew they were working hard and still trying. I appreciate the fact that he didn't forget about us and that he kept us well informed of everything throughout the process. After 6 hours we were approved, signed, and ready to take our new baby home!
