The servicing department is very approachable and attentive - they keep you up to date on the status of your car during the service. I also love the coffee machine with endless combinations of good drinks, snacks, free wifi, comfy chairs, tables to get work done, etc. I get coupons in the mail from Tracy Honda and store them in the car so I never forget them. This dealership uses an antiquated way of doing business and lost out on a possible sale because of it. In this day and age, there is no need to physically visit a dealership when you can do everything over the phone and email. In searching for an Odyssey I emailed multiple dealerships in the bay area. James responded to my price quote email initially, but when we started to negotiate however, his response was "We reserve our best pricing for those that take the time to visit as opposed to shotgunning out the lowest quote and hoping for the best." If you look on map of bay area Honda dealerships, you will see there are tons. I don't see how anyone other than someone who lives near Tracy would go in person, when they could do everything over email/phone. Every other dealer I reached out to, was able to negotiate over email. I responded back "We don't need to look each other in the eye, and have a firm handshake grip and have a good feeling about each other to agree on a price. We're talking about a commodity that is the exact same whether I get it your dealership, or your competition's. After all is said and done, I'm simply bringing the money to the dealership with the best offer. The best offer wins .... ITS THAT SIMPLE". Fair enough, I ended up taking my money to another dealership that took a more relevant/modern approach to internet shopping, I didn't have to waste my time going to the dealership until the after all the negotiating was done over email/phone. He is always outstanding when it comes to customer service and was the one of the reason we keep coming back. He is now the service manager and now Corey takes good care of us, he is such an awesome guy and is excellent in what he does. So whenever we walk in and have no appointment we get turned away but not Corey he would always find a way to accommodate us and meet our service needs. I went to Tracy Honda for some routing check and maintenance. Everything seems fine until months later when I went to another car repair shop whose technician found that something in the car is missing and the missing part has to be removed for the maintenance in Tracy Honda. I have not done any maintenance for the missing part between the last time going to Tracy Honda and the time when the technician found the missing part. I believed that Tracy Honda forgot to put back the missing part after the maintenance. I went back to Tracy Honda for the answer and they refused to admit their mistake. read more

I just bought my first car from Tracy Honda after a long search covering many dealerships and private sellers. It was a great experience. I ended up speaking to multiple people there from the salespeople to the business mgr and general mgr. I had a fairly decent idea of the type of deal I wanted when I got there and with their help and my own research narrowed down the type of car I wanted too. They didn't have exactly what I wanted the first time so I came back again and found the one I needed. I was also struggling to find a good financing deal being a first time lender. I called multiple banks and credit unions without much luck. Tracy Honda worked some magic and found a great deal which I went for. Ask for Chad or Ola. I worked with both and never felt any pressure. It was very consultative and I never felt like I was just there to help them hit quota. So i have only had my car serviced at Honda. Its been at multiple dealerships in the bay because thats where i used to live. There Express lane is exactly what it means.. Express, no appointment required. So when i came back to Tracy Honda i made sure i was there early.. Arnd 830am. Giving myself plenty of time to get and oil change done before i go to work in the afternoon. There were around 4cars before me and i was quoted 130-2hr wait. Thats fine.. I was already there and i drove 30m to Tracy Honda rather than 15m to the Modesto because i like Tracy better. Any who.. Over 2hours later i asked the status and they hadn't even worked on it!! So my point is.. To my surprise, Express lane Dosent mean express. Im going to TELL you to make an appointment and not just walk in. They told me that there they take appts. They had one fully loaded Leather sun roof Cd changer DVD with Lower mileage for less than the price that they were asking for the one I liked so much in Berkeley. The one in Berkeley wasn't loaded no DVD and cloth seats :( I'm So Glad I waited !!!!! I am so so happy with my Odyssey from Tracy Honda.
