Antenna on my 2015 Tundra broke in car wash so called Tracy Toyota to see about cost to replace (from base to stereo). Service advisor said to just bring the truck in to get a better idea so I did today 11/11/20. Upon arrival in service area the attendant quickly came over and said to hang tight and wait for a service advisor to come and talk to me at the truck. 20 minutes later....still waiting, attendant reminded the service advisor and he looked in my direction and quickly proceeded back inside the the building, then got on the phone for a bit. Meanwhile car after car coming in and getting attended. At this point I gave the attendant back their hood magnet and left. I understand that people have appointments and I did not, just came in to get what should have been a quick answer on something but this specific advisor could not be bothered to do that. I'd rather avoid going over the hill to another dealership simply out of convenience as I live in Tracy but its seems that unfortunately that is what I'll continue to have to do. read more

Great car purchase experience! Incredibly easy with Samantha's help negotiating the deal and Ben's assistance at pickup. I looked all over Northern California for a 2023 Rav 4 Prime, but I was unwilling to pay a markup. Tracy Toyota had an SE on order. I texted back and forth with Samantha over a day until we reached a price. I put $1000 down by credit card and that was it. So so simple. Even so, I was nervous because I had read reviews of deals changing at purchase. Not so at Tracy Toyota. Two weeks later I received a call that the car was in early. Samantha sent me the price sheet again and reminded me to deduct the $1000 when writing my check. We met Ben at the dealership and he walked us through the purchase. I spent a few minutes doing forms with their friendly financial guy. I had a drive around, and then Ben made sure the car was ready. We got an orientation and that was it. SERVICE DEPARTMENT I decided to come get an oil change for my old Scion tC. Zyn was my service advisor and she walked me through the prices of the oil change and I wanted a technician to make sure my car was in tip top shape. I have came here before with my truck and I originally wanted to have Jorge take a look at my car, but Zyn told me he was on vacation. Sad news, he's the only person that knows what's he doing when I go to a Toyota dealership. After that, I suggested Mong to take a look at my car because he is good too. If Jorge and Mong weren't there to check my vehicle then I was not going to get my car serviced that day. Zyn sets me up with the paperwork and says she'll call me when it's ready. It took about 3 hours for Mong to take a look at my car (including oil change) and the condition of the car was pretty bad. I got a lot of mechanical issues. Good thing he gave me the rundown on how my car was because I haven't taken good care of it. Now it makes me think if this car is really worth repairing. Both Zyn and Mong are very helpful and informative. If you need your car serviced then go to those guys. They know what they're doing and honest if you need the repairing or not. read more

Deepak from Tracy Toyota is my guy and he's awesome and this review is not for him. I purchased a RAV4 from him and his service was good. I told him I was going to come back to purchase a Tacoma. Anywho I made the mistake of coming in yesterday when he wasn't working, including farood the manager and Tina. They were not there, so I wanted to ask questions about the Tacoma. A older gentleman between the ages of 45-50 black shirt and bags under his eyes middle eastern/Hispanic look refused service to me. I came in nicely asked to look for Tacomas and he specifically told me "we have none all sold" "come back next week" mind you Deepak told me they had some in stock and I saw them on the lot, two white ones and one silver. I work across the street at the AT&T store and known they had them in stock. I'm just embarrassed and really shocked this gentleman had the audacity to refuse inventory for me. On top of that he had attitude and gave me a sense of neglect. As a consumer who bought a vehicle from here I expected better service and I felt like garbage walking in within the first two minutes. Please be mindful who you talk to here because I don't want anyone to feel what I felt. EDIT : 8-09-2021 increasing the amount of stars solely based on Deepak and Tina whom assisted in the purchase of yet another car, a Tacoma. Please ask for them and them only. When I bought my new 09 xb at Tracy scion they gave me 3 free oil changes. they assured me this info would be in their system so I Wouldnt have to save and bring something in everytime. When I went in october for the first svc they not only didn't have it on file as they promised they would but they argued with me about it and told me to prove it to them! So I had to waste my time digging and finding the paperwork! I just went back today for my next service and made an appoitment for 9a a few days ago. Got there on time. The guy told me it would be an hour so I waited around. An hour and 25 minutes later still not done, so I went to check and they said it would be another 30-45 mins! They didn't even have the courtsey to come and find me to let me know! This location has the WORST customer service! read more

I made an appointment online for an oil change at 11:15am. I arrived at 11:00 and was happy to see only a couple of cars ahead of me. The service desk said it would be a couple of hours before they finished so I came back around 2:00pm thinking that would give them plenty of time. After waiting to speak with someone for another 25 minutes, I was told they were working on it now and it would be another 25-30 minutes before they were done. So an appointment at 11:15 turns into a 4 hour oil change which made me late to another appointment--not sure what the point is of making an appointment and being punctual in the first place if the business can't do the same. read more

the only thing I disliked is that this short indian car salesman came with me to test drive the car and was telling me how to drive the car as if he were a driving instructor i felt uncomfortable and even more that he had to ride with me as if he didn't trust me. after I bought the car I tried to take a video of the 49ers pictures on the wall since I am a 49ers fan and the same guy told me he had to charge me for the pic and even went and stood in front of me to block me from taking a picture. I am very upset with my most recent experience at toyota. I definitely do feel like i got taken advantage & they quoted me with repairs that are over $3,000. They also said my shocks were cracked but sent no video. When I had another mechanic check them, they are not cracked whatsoever. I also got a 100,000 mile engine service and did not replace the spark plugs. Toyota also said my battery failed, the same mechanic checked and the battery passed. Liars! I feel very deceived and taken advantage of because they saw me as a young woman and thought, i didn't know anything about cars. Their little STUNT caused me $700 and I am still not certain about what service was made to the vehicle as their service paper, does not detail what job they did. It only shows kits completed. This is only a review for their service department. I have tried getting my service completed here and setting an appointment is always a hassle. They flat out never returned my calls for my initial auto butler services and 6 months later when my second round was coming up I had to try for over a week before getting a call returned. They schedule me for a 9am appointment and then I have to wait 40 minutes before I leave because it's so overbooked. I purchased my car here a year ago and was happy with the customer service from the sales people but the service department has me wishing I bought my car elsewhere. This is an indictment on piss poor management and ownership. Don't bother coming here if you can help it. read more

I scheduled an appointment with them for my RAV4 10K service on 10:45 AM on 7/3/2020. I arrived at 10:30 AM with long line at appointment lane. I waited and have the paperwork done by 11:03 AM. I then went out for lunch and returned at about 12:30 PM. The service desk guy told me that the service crew was in lunch break, and my car would not be ready until 3:00 PM. Now it's 2:33 PM, and I'm still waiting for my car. What's the point of making a service appointment if the dealership is not going to keep or honoring its appointment/schedule? Took my vehicle here over 6 months ago because I was experiencing some issues with my transmission fluid. The service advisor was courteous but the "mechanic" who handled my vehicle added 6 quarts of oil (not transmission fluid) to my engine without dumping the old one out and when I went to change my oil in my garage, it led to a massive oil spill smh. I called them, asked to speak with the service manager, the GM, anyone with some kind of authority to help me and I was always told they were busy, out for the day or that they would call me back if I left my number. I left my name and number for them and never received a call from anyone which speaks volumes as to how much they truly care about their customers. I truly thought this dealership was under good leadership but it's obvious there's a major disconnect somewhere. read more

Took my vehicle in for service, did a major service but get a message showing me multiple items need to be addressed. Keep in mind you pay a fee which does these inspections. I pick a few items to address and do the major repair. When I get home my vehicle is leaking oil. I'm furious as my vehicle wasn't noticeably dripping oil, but now is. I take my car back and nothing is done to fix it, in fact they bring me back to show me where the leak is, clearly there was a spot the car had been leaking slowly, timing cover but I was not told how bad it was. Had I know I clearly would if addressed it, so I'm furious and ask to get a quote, at this point the service representative gives me the f@&$ you quote of over $3,500 to repair a timing cover on a RAV4. I own 2 Toyotas, loyal to Toyota, but I will never take my vehicles back after this experience and will not buy another Toyota since I refuse to go back to Tracy Toyota for the simple fact that they caused the leak to get worse and then gives me a ridiculous quote to repair it. read more

Mr. Lott must have forgotten how the players union has helped him personally or else I know Mr. Lott would be supporting his service and technician employees in their efforts, and their American rights under the National Labor Relations Act of 1935, to form their union with their current representation. Really disappointed by the dishonesty exhibited by Tracy Toyota sales team. First, they attempted to cash in the check I wrote twice. Then they hid some of issues on the car. Roughly a month after purchasing the car, I had to spend more money to get some of basic things fixed. Another shocker, I get a call few weeks later about some additional fixes they recommend. I bought a RAV4 here. They said they gave the COSTCO price. NOT. Then I found out later that they failed to mention that we needed a version 10 Samsung phone to operate maps and it has to be plugged in to the USB port to get Google Maps and we could not use my iPod while it is in use. The asked if we wanted a special car paint wash every 3 mo. for 3 years, cost $500, that they do when you get it serviced. They forgot to say that it takes between 3 and 4 hours for it. They have a small service department and they are slow heck. Their staff with the 1 exception was lousy. Modesto Toyota is soooo much better in every way! read more

I had scheduled an appointment 1030am coming from my graveyard shift. Was told they would squeeze me in. I get there 1010 and I am told that the wait might be an hour or two. I was never told any of that on the phone. Anyways, I thought it would get done quicker than expected but 2.5 hours go by and I ask the lady if everything is ok and they tell me the car hasn't even been started. I'm already paying $180 for this (Oil change) and this is how your customers get taken care of? Hours and hours of waiting ? ? I saw ppl before me still waiting 3.5 hour later.
