I was told my price and my interest rate was based on taking the rebate which I agreed. Went in to sign the contract and the finance manager said that the rate he showed was in lieu of the rebate and the sell price would be higher. Dishonest service department. I changed the cabin air filter in my car the day before bringing in my 2017 vehicle for included scheduled maintenance. Pick it up and I am told the cabin air filter WAS CHECKED and needs replacement. This is clearly a lie. Had it been checked they would have seen the filter was new with the install date written in marker on the filters side you see as soon as you open the filter door. I informed the service lady of this fact and she insisted they can get dirty "really fast" and it should be changed. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I just purchased my 4th car from this dealership in the past 10 years. You would think as a returning "loyal" customer I would get a little special treatment - not!! Ramen, the finance manager talked and talked about how great it was that I was such a loyal customer. He talked about getting me an autograph and discount. When I tried contacting him on this, he NEVER responded. He could have at least had someone else respond for him, but there wasn't even a peep. I went to Toyota trying to look at cars. I followed the signs leading me to customer parking and there was none. The dealership didn't look busy so I was confused. I noticed that their customer parking was littered with company vehicles taking up all of the parking. The service center had parking when I drove around, but I didn't want to walk in rain. Well, after taking it to another Toyota Dealer it turns out that they parts I paid for to be changed were never changed!!! My car's battery has been leaking for months now. I let him know that I was interested in seeing the car but it was going to be a couple of weeks out. I had to convince my husband driving 4 hours was a good idea. During this 2 week period Deepak checked in with me at least 3 different times. During our adventure there yesterday he also checked in and before hanging up both times he said drive safely. At this point I felt like We were going to visit a family friend. Well here we are in June 2014 and th ewarranty was cancelled but the check hasn't even been issued. We have been going to Tracy Toyota for many years now but my last few experiences have not been very good ones. This last one I went to have my front end looked at because I was having some shimmying in the front end. I also asked for a new fob since mine was no longer working to lock and unlock the doors. Apparently my son who is a mechanic over in Menlo Park did something wrong when he did my brakes last time and Tracy Toyota Charged me 1700.00 for the Key Fob and the Brakes. That is front and rear with new disks in the rear, also they said I needed new parking brakes. I have done my own brakes many times and should have done them this time. I thought I would give myself a break and let them do them. Never again. We just bought a new Toyota Carola and will take it to Livermore for service and my Tundra has no warranty on anything so it will now go to a local trusted shop where I can speak to the mechanic instead of a service writer. I have dealt with some wonderful people at this dealership. I think Cynthia is tops, she has always been very professional and tried to make amends for bad service in the past. I called around the Bay Area for deals on oil changes - seems like all the Toyota dealerships are charging $39.95. Until I checked with Tracy Toyota. I spoke with a service advisor on the phone, who said their price was $29.95. Cool, plus their shop was close by anyway. I get to their service department early in the morning, and I'm told that they actually charge $39.95. What?!! Ten dollars is not a lot, but I was frustrated about the principle. Bait and switch anyone?!! And then I'm told it's going to take at least a couple of hours for the oil change, because service was deluged with recall work, plus I didn't have an appointment. Grrrr. Maybe a colorado omelette at IHOP will help cool me down? Well, I get back to the dealership, and surprisingly, my car was already finished. To top that, my service advisor apologized for the "misunderstanding" and charged me nothing for the service. What?!! Rewind please. I fully intended to pay, but I was comped instead? Wow. Impressive. Anyway, I was so ready to give these guys maybe ONE STAR, but at the end of the day, even a simple gesture like that can make you believe there still is some good in this crazy world. We broke down outside Tracy on a Sunday and had the car towed to Tracy Toyota, the local dealership. Even though I just had the car serviced before we left, it seems to have had a belt break and that caused the car to stop working. (I'm not an expert at cars, lights came on and we pulled over). We got up at 7 to get to the dealership when it opened. We talked to very nice service people (Victoria was one of the nicest people I've ever met at a dealership) who said they'd probably have the car in by 10 and if all went well out by noon. That worked great since our hotel stay ended at noon. So 11 rolls around and no word from them, so we call, just voice mail. I got the hotel to let us stay until 1:30. At 12 I called and they said they still hadn't touched the car. They said they'd call right back with a time estimate. I waited an hour and they never called back. I guess right back meant more than an hour to them. I called back and the service writer had just gotten back from lunch and said that the car was in now in the shop. The car was finished beautifully and the price was really reasonable. That saved the day for us. I really liked Victoria, she was great. I just wished they had kept in touch with us so we knew what was going on. read more

Bought a brand new car from this dealership and have had nothing but issues since. Most recently I took my car in for a service appointment, which took 7 hours, and when leaving for work the next morning discover a screw in my tire! I call and explain this, make an appointment, and then they try to charge me 250 for a new tire!! Service manager Bob was extremely rude and disrespectful from the beginning of the encounter including him laughing and telling me to go search his parking lot for screws. Went in the parts and they said have to go into service to make sure that the part is truly bad. Than I had to wait for 35 minutes in my car which matter of fact I was no 4 car. Than the advisor told me it's going to be 2 hours or more wait for something that if you go to Autozone for testing they do it in 2 minutes. I go to their service shop for my car maintenance. I've been on a Saturday with an appointment and it still took 3 hours for just an oil change. I went today ( Monday) no appointment. Took less than an hour. So they are definitely not the quickest but the staff is always very kind and helpful. For starters, I arrived to my service appointment at 12:50pm because my appointment was at 1:00pm. Went bad from then, I had to wait until 1:35pm for service advisor Carlos, to grace me with his presence. I'm there for my regular oil change but with this I asked for my brakes to be checked which they do anyway. Carlos, assured me my brakes would be checked. "Oh yea we check those". So, I'm going over to shop x the street at Ross and I'm gone for over an hour. When I arrive my car is in the pull up drive spaces normally reserved for cars that service has been complete. So I go into service to collect my keys and pay. I'm then told my car isn't ready. Well it's 3:00 already so I'm confused because never have they ever taken that long. Carlos goes on to tell me that the car isn't going to be ready until after 4:00. I'm now pissed because I made my oil change appt for the express service. So why am I still waiting over 2+ hours? I've never waited this long ever but the kicker was when my car was ready at 4:43pm. I look at my receipt and there are no notes for my brakes, at this time I'm already in the car driving. Needless to say this was important because my brakes are making noise and I specifically asked for them 2 b checked. Carlos, not only wasn't very cordial nor helpful. The service Dept lady tried reaching him a few times for me but he was MIA each time. I'm very disappointed in my service today. I've been coming here for almost 5 years and never had this terrible of service. I tried calling for the service mgr at 5:45 but people would answer the phone only to hang up and not answer afterwards. I wasted 3.50 hours getting an oil change with an appointment to NOT get my vehicle checked out like they normally do. I will not be going back, there is a whole office of new service advisors and only 1-Carlos was there. There was a lady but she appeared to be on a personal call the whole time. I will be calling the service mgr because they owe me to check out my car. I'm so disappointed in Tracy s Toyota. We have bought our two Toyota vehicles here. We purchased a Corolla in 2004 and a Tacoma in 2006. Our first experience there, we were presented with a salesman that could have been the village idiot. He couldn't answer any of our questions, was arguing with us, and finally we asked for a manager, who completed our sale and assured us that the first salesman would not be getting any commission on the deal. The second time we went back, a saleslady named Luda helped us out. (I'm always impressed when I see a woman selling cars). She was knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy, took us on a test drive, and when we told her we needed a few days to think about it, she was the person we asked for when we went back. She completed our sale quickly, efficiently, and called us a few days later to see how everything was working out. I'd recommend her any day! read more

Just purchased a Toyota Rav4 from this dealership over the weekend. Sam Wali was our sales rep and he exceeded my expectations. He showed us plenty of cars and was very patient with us, as I ask a bunch of questions. When we narrowed down of choices, my mom was very displeased with the initial offer. We were ready to leave, however Sam insisted to please us. He tried his best to work it out to getting us our car and within the budget we were pleased with. During this process of negotiating, he made us we felt comfortable and not rushed. Buying a car can feel intimidating at times, as sales rep tend to be pushy and rush the deal. Sam gave us plenty of time to think, and went over a bunch of options we had. This is not the first car purchase I have, but this was by far the easiest and best experience. I took my car in for a standard oil change on 02/20/2020. I was at the gym across the street walked to the dealership after 2 hours still the car wash was not finished. I paid for what was not finished. When I received my car back it was dirty. The service pro gave me a refund. While I was going home my transmission light came on and I never saw this before. My car I had to drive back down the street with the engine making strange noises. When I got there the service manager brought me into the office and told him there were no records that state I have transmission failure. My transmission Toyota did something to it. They fixed it for free and I did not even authorize them to do so. They gave me a rent a car for free for two weeks. Something is really shady with this car dealership. DO NOT GO THERE! Do not they will lie about services you need to get done. Ronnie Lott owns it but you can not trust the name with the service. I almost could have killed someone trying to get my vehicle to the dealership. I called the state of CA auto bureau to investigate and they found out they violated laws. This is the 2nd time I have gone to this dealership after my car was over 100,000 miles and the next day something wrong happened. Save yourself and other lives do not go here. Great experience buying the car I wanted here. Tyler was my salesman and we had been communicating through email over the span of a week or two. Because of two prior horrible experiences at Dublin Toyota and Downtown Toyota, I became more and more agitated and this reflected in the emails I was negotiating with my salesman. Even despite this, Tyler remained polite and not at all condescending unlike my previous salesmen. I eventually come to agree to an offer he made and decide to visit the dealership. Unlike the previous Toyota dealerships, no tricks were made and the car was indeed at the lot. Everything went as discussed over email, although they did eventually hike up the financing by $2 per month. Other then that, it went about as smooth as I wanted it to be honestly except for that small price hike and the fact the car was not as pristine as I wanted it to be (one very very small nick on the side). I will still recommend this place because I was in and out within 3 hours, which is a hell of a lot of time saved. read more
