I got gota pretty good deal on my toyota corolla here a few months back. My only complaint is that my alignment or tires were not filled properly with air so I had gotten a flat. I took my car in the next day on the spare tire and Dan gave me a free rental for 3 days and gave me 2 new front tires,along with a free tail light. I thought that was pretty good customer service! So my only complaint was the fact I bought a certified car that had tire or alignment issues oviously. But they fixed the problem at no cost so I'm happy. read more

Went in the parts and they said have to go into service to make sure that the part is truly bad. Than I had to wait for 35 minutes in my car which matter of fact I was no 4 car. Than the advisor told me it's going to be 2 hours or more wait for something that if you go to Autozone for testing they do it in 2 minutes. I go to their service shop for my car maintenance. I've been on a Saturday with an appointment and it still took 3 hours for just an oil change. I went today ( Monday) no appointment. Took less than an hour. So they are definitely not the quickest but the staff is always very kind and helpful. For starters, I arrived to my service appointment at 12:50pm because my appointment was at 1:00pm. Went bad from then, I had to wait until 1:35pm for service advisor Carlos, to grace me with his presence. I'm there for my regular oil change but with this I asked for my brakes to be checked which they do anyway. Carlos, assured me my brakes would be checked. "Oh yea we check those". So, I'm going over to shop x the street at Ross and I'm gone for over an hour. When I arrive my car is in the pull up drive spaces normally reserved for cars that service has been complete. So I go into service to collect my keys and pay. I'm then told my car isn't ready. Well it's 3:00 already so I'm confused because never have they ever taken that long. Carlos goes on to tell me that the car isn't going to be ready until after 4:00. I'm now pissed because I made my oil change appt for the express service. So why am I still waiting over 2+ hours? I've never waited this long ever but the kicker was when my car was ready at 4:43pm. I look at my receipt and there are no notes for my brakes, at this time I'm already in the car driving. Needless to say this was important because my brakes are making noise and I specifically asked for them 2 b checked. Carlos, not only wasn't very cordial nor helpful. The service Dept lady tried reaching him a few times for me but he was MIA each time. I'm very disappointed in my service today. I've been coming here for almost 5 years and never had this terrible of service. I tried calling for the service mgr at 5:45 but people would answer the phone only to hang up and not answer afterwards. I wasted 3.50 hours getting an oil change with an appointment to NOT get my vehicle checked out like they normally do. I will not be going back, there is a whole office of new service advisors and only 1-Carlos was there. There was a lady but she appeared to be on a personal call the whole time. I will be calling the service mgr because they owe me to check out my car. I'm so disappointed in Tracy s Toyota. I took my car in for a standard oil change on 02/20/2020. I was at the gym across the street walked to the dealership after 2 hours still the car wash was not finished. I paid for what was not finished. When I received my car back it was dirty. The service pro gave me a refund. While I was going home my transmission light came on and I never saw this before. My car I had to drive back down the street with the engine making strange noises. When I got there the service manager brought me into the office and told him there were no records that state I have transmission failure. My transmission Toyota did something to it. They fixed it for free and I did not even authorize them to do so. They gave me a rent a car for free for two weeks. Something is really shady with this car dealership. DO NOT GO THERE! Do not they will lie about services you need to get done. Ronnie Lott owns it but you can not trust the name with the service. I almost could have killed someone trying to get my vehicle to the dealership. I called the state of CA auto bureau to investigate and they found out they violated laws. This is the 2nd time I have gone to this dealership after my car was over 100,000 miles and the next day something wrong happened. Save yourself and other lives do not go here. Just purchased a Toyota Rav4 from this dealership over the weekend. Sam Wali was our sales rep and he exceeded my expectations. He showed us plenty of cars and was very patient with us, as I ask a bunch of questions. When we narrowed down of choices, my mom was very displeased with the initial offer. We were ready to leave, however Sam insisted to please us. He tried his best to work it out to getting us our car and within the budget we were pleased with. During this process of negotiating, he made us we felt comfortable and not rushed. Buying a car can feel intimidating at times, as sales rep tend to be pushy and rush the deal. Sam gave us plenty of time to think, and went over a bunch of options we had. This is not the first car purchase I have, but this was by far the easiest and best experience. Great experience buying the car I wanted here. Tyler was my salesman and we had been communicating through email over the span of a week or two. Because of two prior horrible experiences at Dublin Toyota and Downtown Toyota, I became more and more agitated and this reflected in the emails I was negotiating with my salesman. Even despite this, Tyler remained polite and not at all condescending unlike my previous salesmen. I eventually come to agree to an offer he made and decide to visit the dealership. Unlike the previous Toyota dealerships, no tricks were made and the car was indeed at the lot. Everything went as discussed over email, although they did eventually hike up the financing by $2 per month. Other then that, it went about as smooth as I wanted it to be honestly except for that small price hike and the fact the car was not as pristine as I wanted it to be (one very very small nick on the side). I have had good experiences at Toyota in past but this last experience makes me question whether I want to go back to this location even though it's very close to my house and work. Service staff are friendly so I don't like leaving a negative review. I took in my car for routine maintenance and fixing recall-- I made appointment ahead of time and they said should only take a few hours at most. A little while later I got a call saying that the service tech broke a piece in my car doing recall and that car would be ready in a couple of days. I was a little disappointed but I know things happen so I was understanding . Then got a call after that one (I think a couple days after) saying piece wouldn't arrive for 2 weeks. At that point was offered a rental car but a rental car has its own responsibilities- no pets etc etc and if you return it late or without the same amount of gas extra fees will be tacked on. I haven't checked to see if my credit card was charged for miscellaneous fees. I work with animals so it's hard to ensure I don't have any pet hair on me before getting in car and it was unfortunate I couldn't transport my dogs with me anywhere and one of them is my ESA . It was big Inconvenience. I had stuff like charger and such in my car. Also just realized tonight that when I got my car back, my car mount to mount phone on dashboard is no longer there and can't find it-- not sure if technician removed it to service car but it's very frustrating since I have to drive to other locations sometimes for work including next 2 days and I can't be looking down at phone for directions and risk my safety. I wish I had been offered a discount for the next service change for huge inconvenience but even if did I'm probably better off going elsewhere for my service changes. Not sure if I should return. I work long hours and many days in a row often times so the situation with my car added to my stress load. I don't feel like staff realized this and could sincerely sympathize regarding it. I have gone to get services at other locations in past when I lived in a different city. I remember going to Walnut Creek even when I didn't have appointment and they had car taken care of in a few hours and staff made sure I was comfortable while I waited. This was before CovId. Unfortunately Walnut Creek is far drive for me but I just wish I could have experienced a similar standard especially since My car was very expensive from dealership (not this location) and it will take me years to pay off. I know everyone is going through stresses with COVID and new working conditions and don't want to be just another irate customer but needed to express my point of view. read more

Deborah was patient and taught my niece a lot about how not only how to buy a car, but also about the financing of it. After we picked a couple of cars apart, we found the one. The BEST car dealership I've ever been to! I didn't feel pressured into buying a car and I didn't feel rushed by the sales people. They explained all of the car features in detail and had no problem showing me any and all models. I loved how multiple people helped me unlike at other dealerships where they are possessive over customers because they want their commission. Wow where do I start.... On Saturday at 9 AM I brought my 2012 Toyota Prius in for service. I had previously made a appointment for the car. This is not the first time I've been to this dealership for Service. I had a coupon from Livermore Toyota and normally they honor them however the service writer did not like the idea that there is a $49 synthetic oil special with tire rotation and top off fluids off. She went on to tell me that Livermore Toyota is in direct competition with Dublin Toyota and Tracy Toyota is not in competition with them, but she would give me $10 off the oil change and five dollars off the wiper blade... which I was eternally grateful for. Everything was going fine, So I droped the car off. Service advisor called me up from home said my car was done (1hr10min) it was in for: 1) oil change/filter 2) tire rotation 3) new wiper blade(rear) 4) top off all fluids 5) I also ask them to put 10,000 miles on my sticker as it is a Prius and it's all synthetic oil. I thought to myself "this is great, I should make appointments more often get the car back very soon". So i'm in my Prius and I drive out of the dealership and the first thing I notice is my oil sticker(on window) is still at 5000 miles. I said to myself no problem not a big deal, I will just cross it out and write 10,000 miles in. Then this morning.. I got in my car and there was dew on the back window, so of course I turn my wiper blade and noticed that the rubber is still hanging loose from the wiper. Which has not been replaced. I also noticed when I turned the car on and the "maintenance service soon sign/light" came up on the dashboard which was never reset. After I got to work I decided to check under the hood to make sure the engine was still there LOL. Upon further inspection under the hood I found none of my fluids were topped off, my wiper fluid power steering fluid, brake fluid..nothing had been touched. This also leads me to the tire rotation did they or did they not Rotate. It is hard to speculate at this time, however the car is not been washed since the last rain and it's fairly filthy, I noticed that the black rims under the hubcaps did not have a lot of fingerprints on them, so I am not sure if the tires were rotated at all. All the same I shouldn't have to play Dick Tracy with my own car to see if these simple things were taken care of. The dealership should have no problem with the simpleton tasks. This only proves to me that the dealership does not care about its customers. Final comment,Everything reflects on the ownership. I don't play the "cop out game" that my service manager should have done this or that, it all goes to the top. I have written a letter several years ago to address certain concerns, about trying to purchase a car and the service area. The dealership seem to be getting better so I return for service. However I'm not sure I can go back after this last service was so bad. I finally went back to the service department and spoke with Mingo and Mike Director of fixed operations. Mingo was able to fix all the repairs the service department didn't do. I spoke with Mike to let him know personally that I was no longer going to be a customer of Tracy Toyota. Both of them were understanding and good listeners. However I would always feel the next time I went in for a service that they might forget to tighten up one of my wheel lugs and cost me even problems. I guess it's 12 miles to Livermore/Dublin Toyota for me next time. read more

This is an update to a previous post regarding a contract made with Tracy Toyota for what I was let to believe would cover my vehicle for the entire period of ownership. Upon making an appointment for service 25,600 miles and arriving at Tracy Toyota for my very early morning appointment I was made not only to wait over 30 minutes to be acknowledged with only one other vehicle in front of me. Only to be informed that I was going to be charged for today's service and that my service contract that I paid $$$$ for had now expired. This is just a sample of the many lies they will tell you in order to not only sell you a car but also to jack up the prices. I left the dealership and later after speaking with management informed them I would not return. I received a mailer from Tracy toyota stating they had reviewed my account and that they would basically be happy to service my vehicle in the future. Yesterday 08/15/2020 I went to another dealership closer to home and was informed that my contract was still in effect until Feb 2021, My vehicle was fully serviced in accordance with manufacturers specs, it was then given a complimentary wash and returned to me. Bottom Line CONSUMER BEWARE if you are planning on shopping at Tracy Toyota. There are other Toyota choices just a short drive Vasco road south just off Hwy 580, Antioch just off of 680. read more

I was delighted with Mike Botehlo, and a few years back, they let him go, only to ask him to come back a few years later. During the time he was gone, the service department was horrible. I must admit that part of the reason we went to Tracy Toyota is cause we were hoping to get a glimpse of Ronnie Lott (haha...Go Niners) All my life, my family only owned Chevy's...then I finally decided to checkout a Toyota's RAV 4. LOVED IT!!! The salesman showed us around, gave us a test drive and answered all our questions. Then he located the exact RAV 4 I wanted and we left, with no pressure from the salesman. It was great. A week later I came back and he gave me a fantastic deal!!! Since then, I have brought my RAV 4 in for service a couple of times; for an oil change and some aftermarket upgrades...I was worried after reading all the reviews, but, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Gotta say after reading all these negative reviews, I was a bit confused. We had gone through Dell Web Services via Truecar.com and had a price in hand when we went to Tracy Toyota. Landon Cotton e-mailed us to let us know that he would be our representative when we were ready to come in. No pressure, no hard sell. Just an easy conversation for when we were ready. Test drive was easy and we decided on the Toyota Tacoma 4X4 short bed TRD Sport. This thing has all the neat options. From voice activated GPS, to collision detection and collision avoidance systems (all standard). It even has this mind blowing feature where if you start to go to sleep, it will shake the steering wheel to wake you up and a picture of a cup of coffee comes up on the screen suggesting you stop to get some rest. But the most amazing feature is this thing where if you get stuck in the sand or mud. It will move the wheels in such a way that it builds up dirt under your wheels and lifts up the truck to get you unstuck. I decided to submit my paperwork directly to TFS (Toyota Financial Services) and they had my approval in 24 hours. I called Landon at 2pm and told him I would be in at 3. He had the truck ready and only had to wait about 20 mins to get into the Finance person (one person was already in the office). Landon asked me ahead of time if I wanted any extended warranty or add-ons and I declined. Now here is the part that you may want to pay attention to. YES, they do have you sign an electronic pad for your signatures but be sure to ask to see the terms first (that is your right under CA law). As promised from TFS, we got 3.9% for 60 months and they honored the Truecar.com price which was $2k below what Tracy Toyota sticker showed. There was no games, no switching and everything they said they would do, they did. It is important for you as the consumer to be educated and be your own advocate. Get pre-approved, have your insurance proof ready and tell them what you do and do not want. All in all, it was a great experience for me and a wonderful Mother's Day gift for my wife. This is my second review of this location. I stopped coming here awhile back when I had just purchased my 2016 Toyota Prius. A few years back, after a few bad experiences I've decided to part ways with Tracy Toyota and to start going to Modesto Toyota. Now that I've moved back to Tracy a few months ago... Anyways, I am literally pulled off to the plaza across the street because I don't want to lose my train of thought when writing this review. I decided to come back to this location to give them another shot, I mean maybe a few years later and a few staff changes.. this place may have gotten better. Boy was I wrong because it's just as I left it a few years ago. I pulled in and waited for about 5-6 minutes until a lady in a white corolla pulled up next to me. Alex, the attendant who in charge of getting everyone's info came out and addressed her first (I was in the left lane and she was in the right lane) and proceeded to help her. After he was done, I proceeded to tell him that she arrived a few minutes after me and he informed me that "yeah don't worry about it I'll make sure they help you first." I asked if he can change the cone numbers so I can correctly be #1 and he said "yeah yeah yeah I said I'll take care of it." I proceeded to wait for more assistance and decided to go in and ask for help. I saw another advisor come out and started helping the other lady (what I was afraid of and asked to have my cone changed)FML. No one was around for another few minutes. Like this is straight wild. I talked to a lady that came back out and said "hey I've been waiting for a bit, is anyone else available?" She snapped at me and said "well we've been busy in the back helping customers." I was like okay... you know what? I'm going somewhere else. She then said "ok that's fine have a great day, Thanks." So I guess it's all good in the hood now. Thanks Tracy Toyota! Love what you've done with the place. Because I now live in Tracy and love your great customer service, I think I'll spend the 40 minutes to go back to Modesto Toyota! Thanks again! My Camry been there for three weeks and service adviser Edward tell me you will get your car with in a week and know its more than three weeks even yesterday their Service Manager told me the car will be ready today Dec 18 and he will call me and when i call today Dec 18 they having Christmas party. Just i hit curb driving under 25 miles per hour and they make a bill of $9320 dollars and make a deal with AAA insurance and they already received $6872 on December 5 and every time i call they have some excuse. If you're looking for a new or slightly used Toyota, there are far better options than this particular dealership. The sales team does the typical "bait and switch" thing that all car salespeople do, do NOT even listen to any of the words that come out of sales or finance guy's mouth. ONLY look at what is written down. If you've not heeded my advice thus far, and made the mistake of purchasing from these people, get ready for the real fun to begin. Maybe you need a part or something nice because you've never owned a new Tacoma before and decide to go to the parts counter for said item. Here, you'll be greeted by both the most incompetent and rudest parts counter people I've ever dealt with. But's that's "ok", they looked super busy sitting on these stools in that back room. I'm sorry I bothered them. Now, the coup de grâce or is it the "straw that broke the camels back", regardless. Say the new(er) Toyota that you purchased needs a warranty repair because this dealership sold you a vehicle with a leaky windshield. You might think, "I'll make an appointment so everyone knows why I'm there and to make sure they have all the parts needed for said repair", so you make said appointment. Then, you'll show up. No one at the service counter knows anything about your appointment or why you're there. They sure as heck don't have anyone there that can repair a leaky windshield. But you find this out only after they accuse you of possibly trying to pull your own windshield out (is this a thing). So, now they need to reschedule you. So, you'll take another day off of work, and show up to have your repair done, but guess what... (drum roll)...No one knows why you're there and they sure don't have anyone that can fix a leaky windshield. Understandably, you're getting upset so they send someone to your work to do the repair a week later. But the people they send out are even more incompetent that the Toyota parts counter people, so your windshield still leaks. Calling, again, to set up a fourth appointment, and to take another day off, you arrive at the dealership. 3 hours later they will inform you that your car is ready because they tested it and there is no leak. Doing everything in your power to remain calm, you'll politely ask them to direct you to a water hose where you'll have to show the "car repair expert" how windshields vs. water work. So, we have eye witness evidence that this leak does occur, and four hours later they tell you your vehicle is ready. You'll get back in your vehicle and see that instead of taking the windshield out, repairing the seals and re-installing, they just squirt some black caulk on the inside of your windshield and call it a day. Since it's getting dark by this time, 7 hours from whence you arrived, you'll drive off wishing you'd bought a Nissan. read more

Scheduled an appointment a week out to get my oil changed bc I bought a new RAV4 from Toyota w/ 2 yrs worth of oil changes. I showed up 5 mins early @ 8:55am for my 9:00am appointment, and there are already 15 cars in line. An associate comes speaks to me saying his manager likes to schedule a buttload of people first thing in the morning but there are only two people working today. I asked how much longer bc I have to go to work (it's now 9:15) and he said well you have to wait till there's room for your car so awhile or I can reschedule. So I asked to reschedule and I have to call to do so. It's frustrating bc I need an oil change and it's going to be another week or two out and I can't be dealing with the same scenario. I was late to work for absolutely NO good reason. Very upsetting. They also have a sign saying no more car washes w/ service bc of a drought and I just think that's pretty petty to have on display. The associate was nice and is not the one to blame for this - Toyota Tracy definitely needs to rethink how they operate. read more
