I wanted to sell my low mileage 2010 model year car and decided to try Trade-In Solutions. The KBB trade in value for my car was pretty high $31K to $35k. I made up my mind I would walk if I received a low ball appraisal because my car is in good condition. So I made a same day appointment and drove down there and met Adel. He is a one man operation which works great! He does the inspection right in front of me and then we go for a test ride. After the test drive we went back to his office and he showed me the KBB price (which I had already checked) on his computer and said he would have to deduct some because of minor paint chips, minor scrape on wheels and needs new tires. At this point I'm thinking ohh ohh here comes the low-ball and he quotes me $33k :-) I'm a happy camper!! That's more then I expected and a fair price. There was zero pressure. Don't be turned off by the fact that Trade-In Solutions is a single guy in a shared office building in a giant business lot... they blow Carmax out of the water! We visited Carmax with a 2004 Toyota Matrix XR 4WD for an appraisal; they attempted to lowball is with a $6k offer. We took the car down the street to Adel at Trade-In Solutions, and after a quick look and test drive, we were met with an offer that was close to $1.5k above Carmax's quote. Adel is very personable, a Laker fan (a definite plus) and an amazing person to work with. First, Adel did a walk through check on the car, then wrote an assessment based on information from his database and Internet. The overall offer was definitely fair. I originally got a quote from Carmax which went okay, but wanted to Trade-In Solutions because they had great reviews on yelp. I have never sold a car before, so I wanted to make sure I trusted the people I was selling to. Adel was great! I had called in to make an appointment for the next day. I was leaving out of town and wanted to get this done. Even though they were fully booked, Adel said I could come in at the end of the day and he would fit me in. The process went smoothly. Adel inspected the car and walked through the condition of the vehicle. After that we went on a test drive to make sure things ran properly. He was very thorough. After the inspection, he crunches some numbers and gave me a quote. Not only did he give me a quote he explained the average KBB value and why my car costs what it did. I was fully informed in the whole process and was able to ask him any questions I needed. After agreeing to sell my car, he filled out all my paperwork for me (DMV title and everything) and gave me a check right then and there. I left knowing that everything was taken care of and felt very satisfied of the entire process. They have great service. The quote they gave was higher than the carmax quote I got earlier. If you're on your way to CarMax to sell your car I suggest you keep driving and come here instead. I took my 2000 Toyota Camry to CarMax first and felt like they were trying to low-ball me. It's an old car so I wasn't expecting a fortune but I wasn't happy with what they offered. I then found Trade-in Solutions on Yelp and made an appointment. Adel was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He inspected the car and we went on a quick test drive. We then came back to his office and went over the numbers. He beat the CarMax offer by a couple hundred dollars and I gladly accepted it. He then took care of all the DMV paperwork, I signed a few things, and left with a check in-hand. We had a very similar (almost exact) experience as Roshawn. The estimate was well below KBB (not even close) and well below our Carmax offer. I think this company is only good if you bring in an older car and not newer cars. Not only was the low ball offer insulting on a car in great condition (2010 Lexus) but we had to wait 20-30 minutes prior to the inspection because I guess they had double booked the time slot. Don't tell people to show up earlier to their appointment only to make them wait. Glad this company worked for some people, but for us it was a huge waste of time and disappointment. read more

On my way to TIS I couldn't find the building, I'm new to the area and didn't know the street names at all so once I started getting confused I called the front desk and they were so patient with me. She directed me onto a different street to make their building easier for me to find plus she stayed on the phone with me until I found it. So from the start the service was awesome! It was just ok.. Thought I would get much more for my car. There offer was sooooo low I had to reufuse. The service was nice I was expecting close to the Kbb value. But they ripped it to shreds and came back with a very low number for my mustang. I asked them for another price and he came back with just 100 dlls more..I will be stuck with this car until I try to sell it myself. I really feel they could have met me in the middle and didn't give any real excuse about why and how they came up with the very low price. WOW, this is the ONLY way to sell your car or truck. I am very cautious and skeptical when it comes to things like this, and continued to be all the way until the check they wrote me for my truck cleared the next day. But silly me, there was absolutely no need to be. I can't recommend Trade-In Solutions enough! It was as easy as this: I called Adel Friday afternoon to set-up an appointment, was able to schedule it for the following Tuesday afternoon, and was in/out with check in hand in less than hour. Adel was great. He inspected my car, took it for a test drive, asked me some questions, and proceeded with writing up an offer. He was professional, friendly, and thorough with going over what the KBB value was on my truck, what it would cost Trade-In Solutions for all of the repairs (Tires, Brakes, body work, etc.), and what they could offer me. The offer was more than fair and almost 3 times what the dealer offered me. If I was to try and have all those repairs done myself, and then sell it on my own to a private party, there is no way I would have gotten that much money out of it; I would have lost money. Everything is done right there in their office the same day: Release of liability, transfer of title, copies/proof of all the records, and a check for your vehicle. The shuttle to take me back home was already out, so instead of me having to wait, Adel was nice enough to shuttle me in his personal vehicle. I've read some reviewer's comments that obviously had unrealistic expectations on what they should get for the vehicle. Do your homework and look up the Kelly BB value of your vehicle first, and get a quote from CarMax. It's a no-brainer! read more

How the hell did this place get so many positive reviews??? Likely from friends of the owner and workers. So I came into the office for an estimate and I didn't have appointment. The female receptionist asked if I had an appointment and I said no and I was willing to wait for someone. With all the positive reviews of 15 minutes and this being an easy process one would think okay no big deal right? WRONG! She was so dismissive and cut me off before I could ask more questions and said "you will have to go on the website and make an appointment, I don't do that." So why the hell are you there you useless *****?! She didn't even say, oh here's our website or hey you could talk to someone here to see how this his process works, nothing! Seriously?? Literally, "go to the website"...what kind of customer service is that?! Keep in mind, I already contacted the "owner" and he told me it's okay to stop by "anytime, no problem"...Adel, you need to hire better staff that can at least pretend to want business from prospective clients....I definitely will not be doing business with this company and yes I will inform everyone to go elsewhere even if it's to Carmax or another third party company.
