Long time coming.... TJ's, how I love your tasty nuts, hummus and other dips, organic veggies, turkey bacon, juices, sauces and frozen chicken. Not only tasty and healthy, but much cheaper than your competition. It often makes me wonder just how organic everything really is. Also, your packaging is not always recyclable, but you save me so much from having to shop at PCC or Whole Foods, that I'm always one basket away from forgiving you. You are not perfect. You sometimes discontinue my favorite items. You sometimes are completely sold out of things. Your produce sometimes rots or molds within a couple days of purchase. But we are only human, and I understand that nothing is forever. I forgive you TJ's, and I will continue to be a loyal customer. read more

Ask anyone, this is the best TJ's in the seattle general area. I've talked to people in madison park and bellevue alike and they say this is the one they prefer to go to. i like this one cause it has a good layout, the people seem to be more helpfull here than most places and their selection just seems better... maybe less picked over than the one on cap hill. TJ's is my sister's secret love affair, i ask here where she was... "oh at Joe's... check out these awesome apple tarts!" tee hee I love to pick up last minute appys here for parties or just a few little things to munch on when I get home from work. Their wine selection is nice and of course the prices are always right, where else can you get 5 bags of groceries for under 50 bucks!? read more

Judging against other TJ's, this location is a 4 because it's always so full of people and the isles are more narrow than other locations. I absolutely love the ease of having this store be located right off the exit but then parking lot is crammed just like the store is. They do carry everything I love though! So glad that when I moved there was another Trader Joe's close by!! read more

The employees are always smiling and happy, it seems like they never have a single employee who hates their job like most other retailers do. Its been a long time since I've stepped foot inside of a Trader Joe's and I can't believe it's taken me this long to go back. My boyfriend and I had no idea where to even begin! We managed to find the waffle cracker/cookies that my boyfriend's parents' introduced us to. They're so buttery; it's like eating a flavorful waffle ice cream cone hold the ice cream. We also managed to get some Zico coconut water and Almond Breeze almond milk... which we have yet to try. Not to mention, we got a bottle of iced tea/lemonade mixed. Yeah, we only managed to buy snacks and drinks, because we just went for the hell of it. We didn't want to buy anything that needed to be refrigerated or frozen since we had other errands to run. Be forewarned, do NOT get the chilled coconut water that's made with Mexican coconuts. It tasted and smelled like rubbing alcohol. Yuck! We'll be coming back to look at their frozen section next time. ;) read more

Smaller and a bit crowded in my opinion, selection are all still there, the check out aisle are way too close for my liking. Not comfortable in using a debit card and needing to enter a pin if someone is literally behind me. read more

My first time coming to this Trader Joe's. I understand most grocery stores have a no dog policy, however I'm not going to leave my animal in the car, even if I'm just running in for a few things. The clerk asked me if he was a service animal, which he is but not registered, none of their business I suppose. But he belongs to a police officer, and acts as his service animal. He proceeded to talk to me like I was a child and was almost sarcastic. "You know we sell FOOD here." Of course I know you sell food. That's why I'm here. I thought it was rude the way I was talked to. I won't be back there. I don't appreciate the scolding looks from other employees about the dog either. read more

I broke my leg so getting around on crutches is a pain. Everyone is very helpful at this store and they are always smiling. Erin and Bonnie helped me check out and to my car. That was a huge help. Thank you! They don't have a huge selection of things, but what they do have is spot on. My new favorite thing is the "Popcorn in a Pickle". It's just pickle flavored popcorn. I know, sounds gross. Trust me it is not. I always enjoy going into that store. read more

My prayers have been answered! Moved away from Trader Joe Country 3 years ago and the best chocolate in the world to boot! Now I have both again! It's called Pound Plus 72% Dark Chocolate. It's made in Belgium. They have other flavors if you're not a dark chocolate fan, but if that's the case you're not a true chocolate lover anyway. You can also get gourmet chocolate covered cherries there - which make for great gifts. As for me, I'll stick with my lb+ bar. read more

Great location and c'mon who doesn't love trader joes? They have everything. And they have the best snacks. I took my friends from Hawaii here to get snacks to bring back with them and we had a full cart full of cookie butter, waffle cookies, cocoa batons, chocolate crisps etc. there wasn't a limit sign posted up so we kind of went crazy. Majority of my shopping is @ Trader's, pricing is much more affordable than Whole Foods, PCC. Sadly I've recently noticed price increases through out the year as well as downsizing quantity of food items. Grabbed a bag of my favorite "Organic Baked Panini Rolls", and was surprised how lightweight the bag felt. At closer inspection the count was 6 rolls from their usual 8 or 9, I was certain there should be more? Spoke with an employee for confirmation...maybe I was wrong..but he confirmed the downsize. Don't know whats worse, paying the same price for "less" or a price increase. Product downsizing has become the norm. read more

This is a store that we visit often for little things that we need and know they will have. We went in last week for a holiday item and they were out of it. The gal told me that they wouldn't be getting any more in either. Rather than send me away, she called another location and had them hold some for me. Great customer service. I finally went grocery shopping last night so I can stop going out to eat and yelping so much. See I hate going grocery shopping but this Trader Joe's makes it less hateful for me. For one parking is easy, there's plenty of parking and I don't have to worry about someone hitting my car. Two the aisles seem to be a bigger than most other Trader Joe's and the store in general seems larger. They tend to always have what I need, last night there were no chicken rolled taco's only beef but I got over that quickly because they had chile verde chicken burritos and garlic naan. The help is always helpful and friendly and willing to help me find what I'm looking for. read more

I really like this Trader Joe's, it's small, right on my way home from work, they carry delicious and healthy food, plus you can't beat their $5.99 can of whole bean Sumatran coffee. The selection is not quite as vast as some of the bigger stores, but the smaller size also appeals to the fact that I despise having to go down 10 or more aisles of crap I don't need at the big grocery stores. The only thing they don't carry that I love is Dave's Killer Bread, love that stuff so wish they would stock it. So I wouldn't have to make a separate trip to one of the big markets just for that. But I do have to say that their low fat yogurt is da bomb! read more

This was my first(and last) trip to this Trader Joe's. My husband had picked up their "Fearless Flyer" with their seasonal/holiday offerings when he went to the one by his work. I saw several items that would be great for hostess gifts, holiday potlucks, etc. I came to this one because they don't have one in Renton, where we live. I have no complaints about the store itself, other than that they seemed to be out of several of the items on my list. My issue is with the employees. Not one asked if I needed any help finding anything(or even acknowledging that I was there) even though I walked up and down the aisles repeatedly. I finally went to the checkout area and asked for help. The checker rang the bell for someone to help and the guy did come right away, but was no help at all. "I don't know where they are" was his comment as we start walking down the aisle I had already been up and down at least 3 times. Instead of asking anyone else, he shrugged and said "we must be out" and walked away Their customer service sucks!! I will not be back. read more

Ehhh. Sure their flower selection is great but it's pretty crowded whenever working people go shopping and I don't want to risk my job or go earlier and cut school just for tj's. The sweets are good here too and we all know that their off-brand gourmetish items are the heart of why anyone really goes there but lines are slow moving and moms on a mission to sit and stare at the dairy section for eight minutes solid before returning with a flurry of inexpert cart maneuvering. Eek. I'd need some kind of deep tissue massage to be chipper enough to deal with that mess on Friday afternoon. Though for fairness sake I don't think such conditions will be the norm for EVERYONE who goes. Also parking within 45ft of the store is usually a nightmare. read more

I love Trader Joe's, but the parking situation in this location is not ideal! It's in a strip mall, and parking is not the most convenient. The Trader Joe's is located in the right side, and if you are trying to enter from 160th you have to change lanes into the lane that cars are exiting from the highway. It gets a little tricky. Overall, the Trader Joe's never disappoints. The location and parking is why I gave it 3 Stars. read more

I've been going to this location for years and always received great service. But it seems like the COVID situation has given them an excuse to be outwardly rude to customers. A month ago while browsing an aisle, a worker pushing a pallet of packages loudly sighed and rolled his eyes after I asked if he'd like me to move. I decided to give them another try today and tried to walk in with my service dog in her carrier. I was stopped by Tyler who pointed at me and said "no pets allowed". I let him know she was a service animal but he replied "no dogs in the store". I told him again that she was a medical alert dog and he told me she needed to be on the floor. I asked why since she's been there before in the same carrier and he said for the third time, "there are no dogs allowed in the store unless they're service animals". I'd like to point out that none of this was said with an ounce of politeness. Again, I said "She's a service dog" to which he replied "whatever!" and turned away from me. I am well aware of the ADA rules and I'm greatly disappointed that this middle aged employee went out of his way to be rude and to make me feel unwelcome. read more

I hadn't been to TJs in a while because I wasn't interested in driving to any of the other locations. I thought Burien would be out of my way, but it isn't any more of a drive than W. Seattle. This TJs is a winner. It has wide aisles, a large selection, a nice layout, & super people working the plentiful checkout stands. The best part though...the parking! Lots and lots and lots of it! And it's easy to get in and out of the parking lot! My freezer is now appropriately stocked for the single-gal life. read more
