I have always gone to the Trader Joes near El Camino and now that they re-opened a bigger version close by I discovered that it just got worse lol. This place is kind of small, I wish they would make it much larger...and add lots more fruits and vegetables. That said, I am happy they sell organic fat free milk ($5.99). The ginger chews candy caught my eye ($1.79), cute packaging, tastes okay. I also buy bananas here if I stop by ($0.19) each. read more

I've been to many Trader Joe's throughout California. The products tend to be the same - and obviously worth coming for or there wouldn't be so many locations. The main thing to be aware of with this one is that parking - and getting to it - can be an issue. read more

Enjoy going to Trader Joe's in Los Altos on Homestead Rd. The food is well organized which makes for fast in and outs. I love the assortment of treats for giving at Christmas and Holidays. They have a tasting corner where you can get some new ideas. I also like there plant selections which are great for giving as gifts. The parking is a little tight, but good excuse to get more exercise. read more

Yes the parking lot sucks. Why? Because the strip mall has all the stores and services one needs including TJs. I like this store because it's not as cramped as Los Gatos or Campbell. As for other negative reviews, the management rotates among locations every few years. I can only guess the more stoic attitude is due to current leadership. Their old manager is now in Los Gatos where that crew is pretty spunky as was his crew when he "captained" at the Homestead location. read more

We would literally starve without Trader Joe's in the neighborhood. Every time I go there, I find another crucial kitchen staple. Lately: Almond meal, frozen chicken gyoza, and the raw milk cheese. The employees go out of their way to be helpful and be friendly, and usually the place is spotless. read more

My experience at this store was great. The parking however was horrible during peak hours. However, during the evening parking is a breeze to find.I was having a bad day but was instantly cheered up when I walked in. I was greeted by a friendly hello, and welcome by a tall blond man with a wonderful smile. I had questions and he answered every single one of them without hesitation. He directed me to every product and recommended to me great spices, and drinks with my dinner in great detail Excellent customer service. The staff at this store are very friendly and helpful...probably more so than at any of the other handful of TJ's I've been to. Two minuses: - Parking lot has a terrible layout and compact spaces are very very...compact. - Inventory can get pretty sparse (perhaps it's just my timing), but the staff are happy to check in back for any item you're looking for but don't see. Ok, ok, one more thing...what made TJ's decide to only stock powdered sugar during the holidays?! That's a staple for us bakers! read more

I like trader joes a lot and shop at this branch often. The selection of foods and organic produce is very good and reasonably priced compared to some organic stores (" Whole pay check") The only two downsides are that the aisles are very narrow and it is easy to bump into other shoppers and also that when you find something you like it may not be there the next time you shop. I really like this location. The staff is friendly and super helpful, especially if you ask them if they like a specific product or what they would recommend. Always organized. I come here pretty often since it is so convenient. Sometimes several times in a day lol. Unfortunately I forgot my debit card one time and had to leave my stuff in the customer service area, but they were totally understanding and kept my goodies safe until I returned. Two stars because of the parking lot, not the store. This is a typical Trader Joe's, but the parking lot is small, has narrow parking spaces, is very congested, and is loaded with incredibly bad and incompetent drivers. Unless you live very close to this store, go to the ones in Mountain View and Sunnyvale instead. read more

I have been coming to this trader joes for years. Went there this Sunday in a bad, foul, stressed mood. Long story short, dealt with a manager there, a guy with a shaved head, he restored my faith in humanity by taking care of a problem with some flowers I was buying. Seriously great staff here and that makes perfect sense when they have great managers. read more

Awesome place to load up on natural products that don't have tons of preservatives. The prices are really great too!

I love shopping at Trader Joe's! The people who work here are great. Kids love the coloring area for the kids :-) But, its getting to be a pain to go shop there because the parking lot is always packed even in the middle of the day on a weekday. Sometimes I can't even find a spot anywhere on the lot... even on the far side by the bike shop... and had to give up and go home. read more

What I like best is the way they bag your food. Somehow they manage to pack things so the bags (whichI bring) do not fall over and the food isn't squashed.The cold is all together and meat isn't runny. I have tried to get the Safeway checkers to learn but that is hopeless. Their breakfast cereal is a great bargain as is ' 2 buck chuck'. read more
