I admit it, I am a Trader Joe's junkie. I love TJ's! Their demo counter becomes part of my household staples. Everything is so good and their Staff is always friendly and helpful! Some of my favorites are: - Frozen mashed potatoes (ok, this is one of those items that it is almost embarrassing to admit that I don't make myself but, they are so darn good that if you tried them, you would understand) - Frozen breaded chicken tenderloin breasts - Wine Country pecan and cranberry chicken salad filling - White meat chicken salad filling - Frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken along with Veggie Fried Rice - Sliced cheese platter - Asiago bread - dip it in olive oil & balsamic vinegar...mmmmm - The red licorice from Australia - Frozen leeks (no more washing the dirt out of ever crevice!) - Oh the nuts!!! The omega trek mix, sunflower seeds, pepitas, marcona almonds and dried cranberries - Potstickers - Frozen Thai Sticks - Mushroom Tortellini with asparagus It is the best for Single Girl dinners: - Chicken Chile Burritos - Tikka Marsala If they were a publicly traded company, I would be the first to buy their stock! This location is the best in the area...by far! The next closest to me would be Town & Country - although that's a great location, it's terribly small and you are constantly bombarded by carts and people. There is hardly any space to move through the store whereas this location is larger, has a bigger selection and not nearly as busy all the time. The staff (as with all locations) are always super helpful and friendly. The items are constantly being stocked and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. read more

I love my Trader Joe's! I need a weekly T-Joe's fix, and this location definitely helps me with that. They have a REALLY good selection of..well... everything. The employees are super friendly, and the manager is extremely helpful and friendly as well. I have never gotten anything that was bad from here. And here's a quick tip: If you're looking for a quick and delicious meal I would say try the Orange Chicken (in the frozen food section) and try there fully cooked brown rice(by all the other rice, gee.. who would of thought that?) and it makes one amazing meal. This location, by far, has the most friendliest associates around. (Despite being smack dab in the middle of some stuffy and rude PV-dwellers). They are always smiling and chatting folks up just enough to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The ONLY issue I have is that sometimes they run out of my favorite staples. Why does going to Trader Joe's tickle me so much. I love everything about it. The cozy red carts, the entrance with the cacti and flowers, the colors of the veggies and the smell of the season. How is it that everyone is dressed alone that works there and they all have the same delicious smile just urging me on to love them. I want to quit my job and work there very time I go. This is my go-to travel stop if only for the luxurious treats, the peanuts and the sushi. Or try the Hummus and Pita Chips. Or maybe you are up for microwaving the yumminess so you launch some turkey meatballs, chicken burritos or even the STEAK pot pies into that basket. If you are undecided, there is a sampling station in the back. And if you want to cook at home, there are dozens of options for you to build your own mean - try the bag of brussel sprouts or consider the petit filet's. Before you leave, there are always gift items to consider near the front. I usually grab a wonderful bottle of wine and this week it was the advent calendar for win. ENJOY! read more

I love this Trader Joe's because everyone who works here is so nice and helpful. They also have the salad that I love and adore and want in or around my mouth always. And I've never had a hard time finding a parking spot. Sometimes people can't park their cars and pay no attention to anyone else in the lot and almost smack right into your quarter panel, but that isn't TJ's fault. read more

This has out beat whole foods for sure!! The quality of food, the variety and the cost you can not beat. Some of my favorites are the pecan encrusted Salmon, White bean hummus, Goat cheese covered in blueberries, Vintage reserve cheddar cheese, Carne Asada. I Love their Well organic red wine and the Chariot Gypsy Red wine both $4.99!! Buy them by the case because when they are gone they are gone! I love their ready made salads as well. The flowers beckon, with the best prices on orchids anywhere being just one of the many values TJ's perpetually offers. Their produce section, while small, offers only the freshest and interesting options. What is it that keeps me coming back here even though there is a Fry's with covered parking right across the street? Perhaps it's the fact that the store, whilst chock-full of magnificent offerings, is small enough for me to get the produce, wine, finest cheeses and meats, and STILL be back in my car before the seat turns branding iron hot. Perhaps it is the teensy cup of coffee and small snack served by the most pleasant of hostesses. This is the best Trader Joe's I've shopped at in two states (Arizona and New Jersey). I live in Chandler, but if I'm in the area, I'll shop here every time. Bang for the buck and selection of non-GMO and organic foods is a positive of all Trader Joe's. But it's the people at this store that are doing something right. my wife does our grocery shopping, but when i do my monthly bike ride on trail 100, i drive by trader joes and pick up things on our list. i'm always torn by trader joes. i like their prices, their products, their customer service. yet i always feel like it's full of uppity customers, often glaring at me for wearing sweaty, dirty mtn bike clothes, wal-mart flip flops, and not driving a car over 50k. it's a good thing i don't really care, because trader joes is for all us middle class yokels. read more

I'll start by saying that I love Trader Joe's! They have seasonal items that are gluten free that I cannot get elsewhere. Whats odd it's the middle of October and they're completely sold out of there gf pumpkin bagels as well as many other seasonal items. I was at a different store and drove 25 miles to this location to get the gluten-free pumpkin bagels at Manager at other store called this location to verify their store associate said they still had gf pumpkin bagels got there they only had regular ones super inconvenient that they couldn't listen and follow directions and extremely odd that they aren't able to get a Enough of seasonal item that they know are popular during a season. I believe I spoke to a manager who offered no solutions as well as no apologies for making the mistake and saying they had them and having me drive 25 miles to end up with nothing. Very disappointing how poor their customer service was. Also not to mention that the girl/ Store associate said Manager from other store never said gluten-free bagels and I was standing there listening to him when he called the store. read more

We have been going to this location @ Tatum/Shea since they turned it into a Trader Joe's. We purchase a lot here. The staff often are rude. Comments like why do you buy so much of this are sometimes made. One day a few weeks ago I went in the back for a coffee sample. The worker, an older woman who was stout with short gray hair, was very curt. Although I will continue to go here I would appreciate more thoughtful staff. read more

I have been a Trader Joe's customer for decades. I have travelled to several states and in every state that has a Trader Joe's, I tried to shop there. Every time I have shopped at TJs it has been a wonderful experience. I have lived in AZ for about two years and have been and will remain a loyal customer. Today I was picking a few things up and hoping to find a bottle of Ghost Pepper maple syrup. Two employees were congregated in the isle so I asked the Crew member named Wyatt if it was going to be here this season. He looks at me, rolls his eyes, and said "no, we won't be carrying it this season" he shoo's me away with a flip of his hand and tells me they have Ghost Pepper chips. No Shit? Really? Wow thanks for the dismissal jackass. He turns his back on me and continued to talk to Rob, The Captain of the store. I am stunned to be dismissed by this arrogant dickhead. We all know that Trader Joe's carry items this week and next week that item is gone forever. I have asked about things in several stores over the decades and every time the crew member has tried to help. Whether it was going to the back or getting on the computer to check. Until today. I'm pretty sure Wyatt isn't "rain man"when it comes to the Inventory. The fact this new Captain just stood there staring at the tile floor with a blank look on his face doesn't give me a lot of confidence in this stores long term success. The last Captain was amazing. She was super positive and was on top of things. These two clowns are not what I have come to expect from Trader Joe's. Really disappointed in this experience. It won't keep me from shopping there or other Trader Joe's but being dismissed by an arrogant kid the age of one of my kids is too much. read more

I love Trader Joes for their fair priced products. I get their organic stuff. The best part about this store are the friendly employees. I especially like that big Teddy bear guy..i don't know how to be politically correct or properly describe him..i don't know his name. He's the big chocolate dream machine ? Is that ok? You know who i'm talking about probably. He deserves a raise for his wonderful friendly upbeat personality.. Give that man a bonus for making us all chipper when we go shopping there. I hope you know who i'm talking about. Anyway, the food that they make in the back of the store for us to sample is always superb. I know that the food in the store is usually delicious unlike when i go shopping at Whole Foods there isn't the same taste quality and satisfaction. The Trader Joes premade meals are really good especially the chicken pot pie, the turkey and mashed potatoes..yum. The frozen foods are good..the edemame fried rice is delicious..the orange chicken is great. And the sushi is low price and good. The only complaint i have is that i wish Trader Joes would show proof their label is non GMO. I'm still hesitant to believe without proof as you know how corporations kind of sometimes lie to we the people...NO..i didn't say that... yes i did! Also, i wish you wouldn't allow companies to put that food coloring in your foods..i see 'caramel color' added to the labels.who wants paint in their food? Is that necessary? I wish your salmon lox was from New Zealand..as i don't want U.S. fish anymore..since Fukishima because the govt is lying about the fact our ocean is filled with radiation and they don't care about the people getting cancer. I wish you imported from New Zealand or other countries in that area where the ocean may be safer. I wish you had other oils like Safflower oil, organic. I really don't want to go back to Whole Foods for anything. I wish you had non gmo corn when in season..fresh. yum. And i wish you sold puppies and cats. Penis extenders and garter belts. Just kidding on the last items. Not the penis extenders though..my boyfriend can use it. Cheap prices for high quality food, um win! Trader Joe's has a decent health food, organic produce, soups, snacks and frozen item selection. The stores are generally small and sometimes you can't find the same item twice in a row, thus not being able to cross everything off your shopping list, but that's how they are able to keep costs down. It's a give-take type of relationship. The cheese selection, however, is pretty impressive for the size of the store. Also, who doesn't love shopping in a Hawaiian theme store and buying $2 bottles of wine? read more

Before I shop at Whole Foods (which is on the same lot), I buy organic produce at TJ's because it tends to be much less expensive. Also a fan of the delicious frozen gluten-free pancakes, the organic vegetable pizza (which you can microwave in a pinch), the gluten-free ginger cookies, the should-be-illegal-they're-so-delicious lemon madeleine cookies, and the canned cat food, which has a minimum of junk. Hubby also loves their frozen chocolate bananas. I just wish that all of the TJ's stores stocked more organics. read more

I always make the mistake of bringing only one bag in with me, and then I end up buying 3 bags worth of groceries!! I could just walk up and down the aisles, filling my cart with every other thing I see. They have so many unique products. Cookie butter, anyone? The prices are terrific, although the meat is a little pricey. But everything else is priced great! I saw this documentary called "Dive" about TJ's, and I hope it isn't true, or at least this location doesn't do what the documentary portrays. I'll leave it at that. read more

Where have I been? All this time I've been spending $$$$$$ at costco thinking I'm getting a great deal, when I never considered Trader Joes! I went in last week, loaded up my cart and thought that between all the organic items (organic butter!?) and other delicious foods I was looking at a $150 bill. I was rather blown away when it totaled less than $75!! The layout was super easy and efficient, and all the staff were friendly and happy. Trader Joe's has a great selection of fairly priced foods. This location opened somewhat recently and has become a favorite of mine because of its more spacious floor plan (relative to most other TJ's). The only gripe I have is that the parking spaces can be a bit limited. read more

I really like this Trader Joe's. It's within walking distance to my place in cooler weather of course. The staff is super nice and friendly. I like all the natural personal care products they have. My dog really likes the holistic dog food. I love all the different flavored hummus and the tort they have. I also find the marinated packaged carne asada and Korean bolgogi pretty delicious. Trader Joe's prepared meals are great for people that live alone and they are pretty tasty and come in good portions. The only gripe I have is that they got rid of my special secret sauce. It was the garlic herb sauce in a glass jar and I used it for cooking and everyone used to compliment my shrimp and pasta dishes because of it. People would ask how i made it and i would say "it's my secret sauce" So bummed they discontinued it. read more

Great store! Cheap vegan and vegetarian options. I love the labeling there. I don't eat a lot of sodium due to my acid reflux so that salt shaker icon and the vegan icons are awesome. The produce is over priced but it's a good store overall. I like to buy the large cat cardboard there for $6. About $5 less than a national pet store. read more
