Based on all of the great reviews I read before coming here, I thought I was going to have a great experience getting my nails done here and it was the complete opposite of that! I went here for the first time for a fill because I am currently looking for a new go to nail spot. This place will NOT be that spot! The fill was lumpy, uneven, and not straight at all! The nail tech even cut me with the drill on one of my fingers. On top of that they couldn't even find the color I wanted so they had me get up and walk around the salon to try and find it myself. The prices are extremely high compared to other salons I've gone too that do 10 times better in execution of the nails. Was disappointed in this service and will not be coming back. I have been here several times before and now Tony is gone. :( Asked to have only nail polish which I brought in my own (base,color, and top coat to put on my toes only. I asked for no water, no massage nothing.....didnt even need to take polish off because I had no polish on my toes. They kept wanting to do more and couldn't understand english. Needless to say they charged me $18.00 to put polish on my toes. Then had them just trim my cuticles on my fingernails....nothing else. No filing no massage no paint just trim my cuticles and they charge me $15.00 for cuticle only. Total bill $33.00 and the paint on my toes was all over my skin. Something that should have taken 10 min. they dragged into 30 min because they kept wanting to argue with me and add more things on. I have never not tipped but today was a first. 33 bucks for these 2 things is ridiculous. Sorry to hear Tony is gone but will not be returning to this place. read more

This was the friendliest nail salon I've ever been to! Everyone called us by name when we came in and when we left. My friend and I both got pedicures and they turned out perfect, no bubbles. I've been here 3 times now for my nails, my friend recommended that I come here due to me always having bad nail experiences at other salons. I am not disappointed! I'm a nail biter, and my first set of gel x nails DID NOT fall off! I was able to get a fill on them 2 weeks later! This last time I got a new set because I got a new shape and design. Tony is the owner, although he didn't do my nails he still gives great customer service! I forgot the name of the lady who does my nails but she's very kind and patient and really helps when I come in with my picture of the design I want and helps me color match the best we can! I enjoy the vibes and the time here! The only thing is that they don't really soak off your nails, they try and pull them off, my nails are still weak and fragile underneath the gel x, my lady only soaked the nails that she couldn't lift off, but im not taking away my 5 star review for that little thing, because I've always left so happy with my nails! read more

Updated review... They used to be a 5 star for me. I always went to Tony. But as I become a more frequent customer the service lacked. I will only see Tony for my gel X nails because he does good work. But there have been times where me, and my mother have made appointments and he makes you wait forever after the fact. Yesterday I had an appointment at 4:30 and he had just taken a client prior to that time and I was expected to wait well past my appointment time. As a mother with a newborn and not having had my usual manicure + pedicure in over a year due to the pandemic, I was in dire need of some major pampering within a reasonable timeframe. I contacted Tranquil Nails & Spa and spoke with Jennifer who took me in with her next available appointment. Based on her communication and how she shared her recommendations, I can tell I was in a quality salon. Jennifer suggested I do gel extension which is less damaging to the real nail than acrylics and I was able to show her a photo for inspiration and she was able to recreate, with a twist to the typical French tip (pictured). I started going to this salon a little over a month ago with my sister. This place is AMAZING. Whenever I ask if they can do something, Tony responds saying they can do anything. When he says that he really means it! I had my eyes on doing the "cat eye", but couldn't decide on a color that was going best with the look I wanted. My experience here a total nightmare. I wanted to like this place so bad. It was my first time here in May 16, 2019 and unfurtunally my last. They waxed my entire face with a super hot serum!! My face ended up with lots of bad burns for 3 weeks. I cried and thought that I was going to end up like the beast or even worse forever.! Not kidding. They charged me a lot money plus I ended spending more in pomades, other treatments & medicines to stop the redness, itching, rashes and horrible bumps in my face. My face looked like suffering from nasty acne and burns all over!. It was extremely depressing to se my face in a mirror. I stopped working for days and I couldn't travel for a business appointment that I had. The damage they caused me from their waxing was so depressing and horrendous. I uploaded pictures here in "Google reviews" but it looks like they are not showing. I wonder why. I uploaded them on "***Yelp*** you can see them there. They are visible. I also left my review with pictures in their "Facebook" and they disabled the Facebook reviews after I left my photos and this long review. I did a chargeback & the owner of Tranquil Nails fought it back so hard from me. I ended up winning the case after 3 months fighting back and forth that money. My credit card company saw the pictures and they did justice to this nasty Owner. The most disgusting part is that the owner knew who I was and still wanted to keep my money ignoring the damages they caused to my face. She ( the owner) doesn't give a F*** the customers!!!. All she cares is the money. It was very obvious. They lost me as a customer and I'll make sure to let know everyone my nightmare experience, their poor service and disgusting behavior. They are also very expensive place even that their place looks like shitty. They will tell you one price at front to grab you and will end up make you pay way more than what was told from the beginning. They also harass and push hard their customers to buy a $4,000 drinkable water machine that makes a grey gross water. -We, the customers pay the money to look better & pretty not to look like and horror movie creature.- A message to the owner of Tranquil Nails: YOU ARE NOTHING WITHOUT CUSTOMERS, YOU LIVE FROM THEM & YOU NEED THEM TO KEEP YOUR BUSINESS GOING ON. TREAT THEM RIFHT AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FROM YOUR ACTIONS & MISTAKES OR YOU COULD END UP IN A BIG LAWSUIT AND OUT OF BUSSINES. My message to people is "GO UNDER YOUR OWN RISK, OR DON'T GO!". There's a lot better places around were you can get your nails done for better decent price and great & fair treated as a customer. Their job is not great to take the risk. I called at 11:10 for a 12 o'clock appointment and was pleased and thankful they were able to accommodate me. When I showed up 5 mins early, they sat me and worked on me right away. I was seen by Billy and Donna and both were SO friendly and paid attention to detail. Both gave a great massage! I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure and all in all, it took 40 mins. I just started going to this salon and had a pedicure with Ivy twice. She is very aggressive and my friend's who have had her agree. This last pedicure she gave me caused me to have to go on antibiotics and have had a sore big toe for weeks. She poked my toe so bad that it started bleeding. I contacted Tony about it after trying to care for it at home. He told me to come in and wanted to take a look at it. He tried to make it better but what he did caused excruciating pain and only made it worse. He finally said I should go to urgent care and get antibiotics and that he would talk to Ivy. Nothing tranquil about this place. The chairs are dirty, the staff talked bad about a client right after she left, they made my left toe bleed and had to tell her to stop digging, and I asked for purple nails and got black. Not coming back again and I don't recommend this place. read more
