Transfer food hall is a great spot for tourist or for the college students near by. Well within walking distance from campus and even downtown. The food hall has plenty of choices from Vietnamese to Mexican to bagels to ramen. There is even a unique bar that serves cocktails in cute cups. Overall, the food is a bit pricey. The meals are about $16 or above. The bagel place is your cheapest bet.

Transfer Co Food Hall is thee place for groups, dates, meet up with friends. They got community tables, child booster seats, self serve water stations, restrooms all collectively under one roof. I was torn between wanting to try several stalls so their options are great. I went with Bul Box and did a build my own bowl to which you can pick a base, protein, sauces, toppings, and garnishes. Their mango boba was made expertly and the food took no more than a few minutes to whip up. I got to try a few bites of a bao bun stuffed with karaage and hot sauce and sushi from another stall and it was an explosion of flavors! Next time I'll try the Indian food and empanadas. Great place to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cocktail!

Great place for some authentic restaurants and the food is delicious! Unique place, not too big, but also not overwhelming. They have several cuisine choices, including sushi, Indian, ramen, sandwiches, some to go only, and even a real butcher shop with some amazing meat choices. Each restaurant has its own dining areas. There is a nice outdoor deck with dining space and an upstairs lounge. We glad we found this, definitely recommend!

Nice clean food hall with a great variety for the size. I love that there's a Burial brewing attached. There's also a small meat market, nice outdoor seating, of course a bar, etc

This food hall is great. Good variety to choose from and a full bar. Plenty of places to sit and eat inside and out under canopies. I got a shrimp empanada, fish taco and a Paloma from three different shops. Service was great and quick. Food was hot a fresh.

Raleigh has a couple food halls. Transfer co. probably the best one out of the 3. Outside parking has more space and options. Interior space is better to accommodate more people. It used to be an old garage I think and the developers transformed it into a food hall, therefore the aesthetically different than just a brand new building. A couple choices eat of course, from American to Asians and Tex Mex. Close to downtown Raleigh, you can walk there after your meal if you want to.

You can smell all the aromas from each food front and literally start to drool especially the Indian food We honestly couldn't stay long but I definitely wanted to stop in and see what kind of food was inside. We stopped at Che empanadas and Captain cookie to get some goodies before hitting the road. The pollo empanadas was really good the brisket however had a lot of fat which for some people they like me personally not so much. Overall really good flavor. Captain Cookies and Milkman!! So cute the colors pop for the business and who doesn't want milk and cookies at anytime of the day?! We got a six pack but my kids ate them up before I could get a picture but I save one the double chocolate which was delicious. Really cool spot for sure and the also had outside seating in the back.

Our son and his wife invited us to lunch while we were in town for a few days and we were treated to the Transfer Co. Food Hall! The vibe of the hall is upbeat and modern and the friendliness of the restaurants was amazing! We started at the bar with a couple lunch cocktails, the Queen's Manhattan was my favorite! We then spread out and conquered, each of us opting for something different! It was all delicious and fresh and cooked up quickly even though they were very busy! I had one of Mama Crow's salads and couldn't finish it, it weighed a ton! The choices seemed to be endless, there's definitely something for everyone's tastes! On the way out, we stopped at Alimentari Butchery and grabbed a few things for the road including the beef belly pastrami! Hands down the best pastrami I've ever eaten!

The empanadas at Che were great 1 get the corn and the kale and mushroom. I got the samosa chaat but to be honest it was a bit bland, wanted a bit more kick and it was Luke warm. There is very nice seating outside in the back, but you can't take any of your beers from burial pit there.

We came here for a corporate happy hour and I had a great time. The ambiance of the food hall was exactly what I imagined - a brick exterior facade giving way to a modernized converted garage and warehouse. I had a beer on tap, and sampled a couple of vendors. The empanadas at Che Empanadas were delicious on their own, and my tacos with a side of chips from Dank Burrito were also satisfying. With food and drinks, I found myself gathered around one of several barrel tables, chatting away with coworkers while munching and drinking. I'd definitely recommend coming here for happy hour.

Great seafood selection & prices!…read more I came in town for my niece graduation at Duke and so glad I stumbled onto this place! I was in need of Maryland Blue Crabs for a Family BBQ & Graduation Celebration this weekend. I searched all around the Raleigh-Durham area and called around to several locations. Apparently, Maryland blue crabs are hard to come by and find around Raleigh. In steps Earps and so glad I discovered them. Had the best experience buying crabs from Earps! The staff was very helpful and easy to work with....ANDDD ... the prices were great.....$8.99/pound....$130/bushel. The selection was fresh mixed male and females crabs that you choose and can self-serve (pack) yourself or have them packaged for you. In addition, there is a wide selection of fresh fish and shellfish to choose from; including shrimp, scallops, clams and oysters. Forget high supermarket prices for frozen seafood. Come here and check this family owned business out. The establishment is very clean and staff is super friendly! Thanks Earp's for helping this DC- Maryland guy out --who knows good, fresh seafood and Maryland blue crabs when he see them....and these were it! The crabs purchased here were a hit. The family enjoyed them and it made the graduation celebration for my niece a success. Thanks Earps for saving the day. Highly recommend!

The calamari was crispy and tender! Not chewy at all! The hush puppies were seasoned! And didn't taste like just fried dough, the plantains were sweet and tender. Finally the fish! Buttery, flakey, juicy, tender, BUT with a CRISPY light breading! So much better than other places where they over bread their food and all you get is breading! As someone who…read morevalues the bang for your buck, a place that will offer you rice and three sides for less than $12 is always going to make me happy. Okay, I am not going to forget the rest of the store. Fresh International is the closest place to me that does Chinese centric groceries, which is a necessity at times. Sure, H-Mart is closer to me, but some days I just prefer using the soft Chinese tofu instead of the Korean option. Not only that, but they have a better selection of rice and other snacks and treats. There is a seafood counter, butcher, a bakery attached, and the main attraction for me, their hot bar. The hot bar is cafeteria style in which you point to what you want in front of you. There is a blend of traditional Chinese options and some other more Americanized options. They have all different types of meats, including steamed fish, pork, chicken, etc, as well as tofu and vegetable options. The most expensive option is the $10.99 rice and three options, which is already a bargain in this economy. The food itself is solid for the price, and is very fulfilling. I would totally have this every lunch! Attached to the hot bar is the Chinese BBQ section. There, you can get roast pork, duck and other fresh meats. Their roast pork with the crispy skin absolutely rocks. The meat is tender and the skin is crispy and crunchy. My only problem with Fresh International are their hours. Their hot bar closes at 6:30 PM, while the store stays open until 9. I came at 7:00 PM and they were already wrapped up! Bummer! Make sure to come at lunch while the food is hot and fresh!

For $10.99 (three-item plate), you get a very generous amount of food, which is hard to beat. There are also a decent number of meat options to choose from. That said, the selection felt limited for anyone going meat-free, and more importantly, the food itself lacked flavor. The mapo tofu was disappointing, and the bok choy was pretty bland. Others in our group tried the orange chicken, which was described as okay, but nothing anyone would go out of their way for. Overall, it's filling and affordable, but not particularly memorable. Good for quantity, just not quality or standout flavor.

However, there was a ton of live plants and truckloads of fresh vegetables for sale. Couple that with gourmet cheeses and baked and canned goods and you have a situation you could spend a lot of money on. As a snack, we bought a jalapeño cheese roll which was very good. You could definitely do some wallet damage here. I'd like to see this place on a weekend. My one criticism are the produce prices. $3.99/lb for slicing tomatoes and $12 for a watermelon. Other produce is equally expensive. This is rather boujee pricing and it's obvious they aren't targeting the average consumer. I love supporting local farmers but prices like this make it difficult. Come and check it out for yourself. It really is a sight to see and you could spend a whole morning or afternoon here. But guard your wallet. It would be easy to get carried away here.
