We came to Treehouse starving and desperate for somewhere with a patio that would allow dogs (during heavy rain). We had 3 hours to kill before I had to drop my friend off at the airport while passing through Atlanta with my dog. Everywhere I called said their patio was closed or didn't allow animals. Treehouse saved us with an enclosed patio that allowed my small dog AND heaters to keep us warm. The food came out quickly and was very good. The French fries were the BEST part of our meal. I highly recommend trying them. The fried pepper jack cheese cubes were exactly how you'd expect them to taste and also good. Had a nice Sunday brunch at Treehouse this past weekend with a friend. We came "early" at 11 AM and there were multiple open tables. They have a great outdoor patio (dog friendly) with heaters for when it's cold out. Inside, it is VERY tiny and you can easily feel a little cramped with the table next to you. Our server was pleasant and efficient and the food was pretty good - nothing spectacular though. My friend ordered the Southern Benedict and enjoyed it although it looked like a very small portion for the size plate it came on. I ordered the frittata and liked that as well! I think the only reason I gave it 1 star because of the ambiance. Patio area is chill. I don't know what the kitchen is doing back there. Let alone the server we had. Think this is his first shift. Ambiance definitely helps make a dining experience memorable, whether good or bad. It's definitely subjective per person but a general feeling from a group does help provide the basis on whether one enjoys the place or not. Treehouse on the other hand definitely provides a great ambiance and the food is that cherry on top! A bunch of friends needed a place to go to eat and we all wanted something different than the norm so a quick search had us at Treehouse. Great looking place but there is definitely a parking issue! You risk getting towed if you park anywhere near the place on the street. But I had to park so I risked it. The place looked great! And outdoor seating area that sprays a constant mist to keep you cool. The indoor section is extremely tiny, barely fitting 14 people but we made due. Now the food! Oh the food! I opted for the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was packed full of flavor! The breading was fried but it was light yet crunchy amidst being doused in Buffalo sauce. The bleu cheese was light and creamy but held a strong bleu cheese flavor and more or less looked and tasted awesome! The French fries were also light and flavorful. That was my dish! Other dishes I saw that I'll have to get next time is their Eggs Benedict!!!! Those looked simply delightful! All in all, Treehouse is definitely a fantastic brunch spot for a small group or a date! Came here on a whim one day and it was terrible. The service was good and our server was really nice, but outside of that the food and drinks were sub par at best. I feel like it's been awhile since I've had a good dining experience in Atlanta. As a table we ordered several appetizers as our meal. We got the wings and the braised beef tacos. Both weren't good. The wings tasted like nothing and the tacos were cold and barely seasoned as well. Used to love this place. Started going 20 years ago. I decided this week that the growth, building in the area has ruined it for me now. Everything I loved including neighborhood feel and access to parking has gone. Not their fault. Its the reason I moved from the neighborhood. Maybe I'm stuck missing the old days but my favourite time in this area was the late 1990' and early 2000's. The ambiance and everything was just better. Obviously I'm having a moan and my recent visit was to support small businesses like this so mission accomplished. We even sat in the car for an hour waiting for them to open at 5pm. First encounter with a real life Karen. My boyfriend and I were going to dinner 3/27 at one restaurant but somehow the GPS brought us to Treehouse Pub. It was a quaint little spot tucked away in a neighborhood right off of Peachtree Hills. So we looked at the menu, thought they had a nice variety of food so we gave it try. Immediately as we entered we saw the sign that said seat yourself. So we did. A woman approached the table with two waters and never introduced herself so we had no name or clue that she was our server. Fast forward she finally returned to ask if we wanted anything. Immediately I was unnerved by her body language and the look on her face. So we ordered a double shot of Tequila and a Titos neat (I ordered mine with lime she kept bringing lemon and I never once corrected her). She brought that back and just sat it on the table and left. She then returned and we ordered the fried green tomatoes, which were flavorless, except the red pepper coulis sauce. She returned to take our order, mind you her aura was terrible. The look she had on her face was one of disgust like she did not want to serve us at all! At this point I shut down I didn't even want to be there any longer. But we ordered the ribeye and the grouper. The ribeye and spinach were flavorless, the jalapeno potatoes, brussel sprouts and grouper was pretty tasty. She never once returned to see if we needed anything at all. As she was passing by he (boyfriend) asked for A1. She grabbed it from a nearby table placed it on our table and walked away. At this point we never saw her again. Boyfriend had to go to find her. Which he did, at the bar presumably texting or using or phone. He told her we needed her attention. She then came to the table with the nastiest disposition I have encountered in a long time! We asked for a to go box and at this point we expressed our concerned about her behavior by telling her that she was completely unpleasant throughout our entire experience there and she said "No I wasn't". I said mam you were not kind at all, to which she said while turning up her nose and frowning, "Yes I was". She took our checked brought it back and sat in on the table. We asked to speak with a manager. Karen said she is the manager and walked away. So I guess she was the hostess, the server of the entire place that night and the manager! She then had a Caucasian male from the bar area come around the corner and look at us. Not sure what that was about. I didn't want to judge this place based on the demographics of people there but from this experience and the fact that her name is actually Karen I guess that is what to expect. Treehouse Restaurant and Pub is, to me, a hidden in plain site location, because I didn't even know it existed, and you're likely not going to know either unless you either work nearby or live here. We took our seats on the patio and were immediately given menus and water. They seem to have a pretty wide variety on their menu, which isn't always a good thing, but everything on the menu that we ordered was actually pretty good. For this evening, we ordered the following: Stuffed chicken breast ($16.95) Jumbo buffalo chicken wings ($10) Molten brownie with ice cream (didn't catch the price) The Stuffed chicken breast was pretty good! It came with roasted red peppers and goat cheese stuffed inside. You could choose a side with this dish and I chose their edamame succotash. This was a good side dish as well, and one that i've never had. Very tasty plate! The jumbo chicken wings came in either teriyaki or buffalo. We got buffalo and the sad news is they weren't spicy at all. The good news is they were in fact jumbo, and flavorful. They came in a serving size of 10 wings, with nice large pieces of celery and carrots. You can choose between ranch or blue cheese, although you could do what we did and just ask for one of each. Both dressings were okay, the blue cheese wasn't as strong, and the ranch wasn't as "ranchy", but these are small issues. The molten brownie with ice cream was ridiculous, in a good way. Having that contrast of hot brownie and vanilla ice cream in one spoonful was so good. We thought we weren't going to finish it but that dessert got gone quickly! Didn't see the interior of the place, but the outdoor area was pretty comfy. FYI they're dog friendly with their outdoor seating! Customer service was just fine, leaving us to our conversation when needed, but being able to see when we needed our water topped off, etc. Parking here, admittedly, is tough. There's very limited parking at the small lot in front of Treehouse, but there is some street parking you can take advantage of, like we did. All in all, I really enjoyed myself here, and would happily come back. read more

So while it's not so far from home (and across from Paul's where we go at least weekly), we ventured to something *different* today. I just love this place, but the Boy and I had not been together, and as it was slightly overcast (and by the end of our meal started sprinkling a bit), it was lovely. Steven is a T-R-I-P, trip! Definitely try to sit in his section if you can. We heartily enjoyed the artichoke dip I so love and as I couldn't decide on anything else but a Cape Cod (note: get the single, not the double - at an upsell of $0.25- because the vodka's the same in both but there's just that more cranberry in the double - doh!), my Sweetie went for the Heuvos Rancheros he'd been eyeing - and he was totally pleased. Black beans, all the usual ingredients (though he got the eggs scrambled not poached) and he enjoyed the roasted potato side too. Great brunch spot as always, amazing artichoke dip (one of my local faves) and a leisurely dining outing to make our Sunday complete! Next time, we'll bring Luke! read more

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could -- I'd recommend it as a casual place to go if you have a dog, and the food I had was probably 3.5-4 star quality, but the overall experience I wouldn't say merits four stars. Here's the breakdown: Factors: Food, Service, Atmosphere/Ambiance/Decor (I'm going to start calling this AAD, so if you don't get that reference in the future it's because you haven't been following! Tsk tsk), Accessibility, Price. FOOD: I had the California burger with fries. The burger was great! While it wasn't be best I've had, it was definitely an above average burger. I got mine medium-rare and it was done perfectly. The bun is crunchy on the outer edges, and not too thick in the middle such that it would dilute the taste. The amount of guacamole was perfect and well balanced. The fries were underwhelming. They are thin and there isn't much potato left in the center after frying it. I ate them, but they were average at best. I didn't order the buffalo wings, and that is my biggest regret. I saw another table order them and they looked phenomenal -- good size, came out hot, accompanied by long-sliced carrots and celery, and were wet, but not drowning in sauce. If I go back--I'm definitely getting these. SERVICE: Meh--it was pretty busy, as it was Friday night at peak dinner time, but service wasn't great at all. At one point the waitress came to our table--I had a mouth full of California burger at the moment, and she asked if we needed anything -- I tried to gesture to my glass of water that hadn't been filled, but she was already gone. I feel like a water refill isn't the kind of thing that really needs asking. It doesn't help that their glasses basically hold several sips of water if they're already full of ice. Atmosphere/Ambiance/Decor (AAD): I ate on the patio, which was very talkative, crowded, had two levels, and basically a dog under every table. It's The floor, railings, and ceiling is basically just made of planks and nails. People seem to love the ambiance here, but I kind of don't know what the big deal is. It's just a screened-in patio with stained floorboards. I mean, it is nice for dog-owners to bring there dogs, and it is bustling, but beyond that, it is pretty much as basic as it gets. Note, I didn't go inside, so I can't comment on that. Also note, it is accessible for those requiring assistance, as there is a ramp going up to the restaurant. Depending on what part of the restaurant you eat in, you may have to go down a couple steps. Also, the floorboards seemed pretty flat, but I did see a woman trip while she was walking out of the restaurant. Also, it can get really crowded, which may make it more difficult if you need space. PARKING: its crowded and their lot will only fit a handful of cars, but there is a ton of street parking that stretches all the way back into the neighborhood abutting the restaurant. Price: I think the California burger (and the rest of their burgers are just a tad overpriced. I mean it was good, but you don't get a ton of food at all. I'd more accurately value them at 10-12 for the burger options. Overall: I'm not anticipating coming back here, but it seems like a fine place to go. If you have a dog that is friendly and calm, this would be a great place--highly recommended if that's what you're looking for. read more

Maybe because it's tucked away, but I hadn't heard of the Treehouse while actually living in Atlanta about a year ago. Some friends took us there while visiting for the weekend and based on how the restaurant looks, I can see how it got it's name. The casual restaurant is surrounded by trees and plants with a large outdoor patio space. We came early on a Sunday morning and sat outside on the porch, which was very spacious and wraps around the entire side of the restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and was quick on the coffee refills! The main draw of the Treehouse is definitely it's unique ambiance because the brunch food here is just average. There wasn't anything particularly special about it, although it wasn't bad. I got the Southern Style Benedict and it came with potatoes the dish itself was very filling with all the gravy and biscuits. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but I probably won't go out of my way to eat here again on my next trip to Atlanta. read more

Why do people keep going to this place?? Every time I go (maybe once every two years at this point), I swear I'm never going back, but I guess I usually forget how bad it is. I went most recently for brunch on a Sunday - showed up early so it wasn't too packed yet. The service is always sooo terrible. It took a while to get our waters and we probably waited about 15 minutes to be able to order drinks. Then the drinks showed up (tiniest Bloody Mary I've ever seen) with no straws, which we requested and they were never delivered. I had to get up to get them myself. Food was nothing special and portions surprisingly small for bar food. Then a swarm of yellow jackets showed up. Wtf?? The group next to us had to abandon their table. The staff somehow didn't seem too concerned. THEN we got our checks and I noticed I was charged $11.50 for what was listed as an $8 Bloody Mary on the menu. When I asked about the difference I was told the $8 is the price for a shot, then there's an "up charge" for the Bloody Mary?! Made no sense. Don't waste your time, with so many good restaurants in the Atlanta this one is a complete waste of time. I went with a couple friends the other night. Decent service at first. My food and one of my buddies food came out and we thought "well the runner only has two hands" so the last food should be out any second. Ten minutes later we flag down the food runner and ask where the last place of food is. He looks dumbfounded and says he will check. The waitress runs down to us and says something about the system having an accept button and it didn't get placed but is being cooked right now. No apologies offered, but she did ask if we wanted another round of drinks (I would have thought she would have said, "let me treat you to a around.") Another 15 minutes goes by still no food. My buddy decides it isn't worth waiting anymore and goes inside to tell the waitress to cancel his food since everyone else is already done with dinner. Side note I got the wicked burger and it was completely flavorless. How do you make bland pimento cheese?!? Anyways the owner was shooting the breeze with a couple of guys sitting inside and asked if there was a problem, and my friend told them what happened and he didn't seem like it was a big deal, THEN LEFT the building. At this point the food is finally coming out and my friend refuses the food, which I guess annoyed them but now it's been almost an hour and we are ready to go. The waitress hands us the check and it still includes the food that never arrived and we tell the waitress and she gets pissed off at us! She got mad and stormed off and refused to talk to us. So then we are dealing with the bartender and he messes the bill up 2 more times! It took us an additional 30 minutes just to pay the bill and leave. First and last time I will ever darken that doorway! So many better places than this dump! To the rude waitress: grow up and accept when you have made a mistake. I had lobster cakes that the lobster wss dry and tasteless It was served on a bed of potato and Loma bean succstsche. This was terrible. It was prepared al dente and was inedible. When my server noticed that I had not eaten it he asked and o I told him it was terrible. Hos reply wss I don't like vegetables. The dish was served with leaks, I asked to substitute spinach he returned and informed me that the leaks were a garnish and he couldn't substitute spinach but he could substitute come slaw which I accepted. When I got the Bill I had a $4.00 urcharge for the cold slaw. ?????? If you were going to urcharge me why couldn't I have what I asked for and why wasn't I informed that there was going to be an urcharge? The Captain has half a mind to spank (at least) one of you sweet bottomed lassies for not advising him of this tumbledown neighborhood hangout sooner... I mean, how could you be holding out on me, Captain Drew??!!?!?!!! Despite your secrecy, I finally found out about this establishment this evening and rowed sternly back to the ship as soon as I were finished to post my first impressions... It was a dark and stormy afternoon. There I lay, in me finest dungarees, sprawled upon the deck as storm wracked skies furiously lashed the temporary plastic walls of this tiny homage to neighborhood drunkenness. Lightning danced across the sky casting impossible shadows around the place. The wind howled high as the plastic walls jumped tight against the blow... the waves towered far, far above the trees as the rain hammered down upon the tin roof in a drowsy, drowsy fusilade as I fought to keep me chair level with the floor. More than a few of the little lassies perched around the deck curled their pretty little deadlights MY way throughout the course of the night, which be always flattering to a space pirate's libido as we always likes to know that we still have the power to steal away a lubbers' woman any time we choose... though I generally prefer to be more chivalrous and simply take a fellow's beer away from him when he be distracted by the odd flash of lightning (this did NOT HAPPEN in ANY WAY that you can PROVE... tonight, about 5:34pm.. on that table with all the people, near the table with the crying baby and the DOG). Did NOT happen. NO!! Ah, and then there be the matter of the SECRET belowdecks party cabin. Thunder! but that thing be SEXY for such a dive-y sort of raft as this. Big television, clear plastic roofing (for extra light) and super deluxe snuggle booths. It didn't hurt that I found a spot for me autocarriage directly in front of the bar. We waited almost 10 minutes for our diet cokes, and had to ask 3 times for a glass water for the dog (I brought his dish, so this was not a special request). Waited another 20 minutes for our food. The $3 tacos were bland and uninspired. Came on a plate with NOTHING else - no extra salsa, or a sprig of cilantro. The chicken quesadilla was similar, but at least had a small serving of sour cream and salsa. The refills on diet coke had no more ice added. The waitress was aloof. We had brunch here Sunday and it was really yummy! The mimosas were $5, my biscuits and gravy were $10, and my boyfriend's breakfast burrito was $10, so great prices for great food (see pictures). The service was pretty solid considering how busy it was, and everyone was friendly. The atmosphere was super casual, it feels like you're sort of in a treehouse when sitting on the patio. It's enclosed during the cold months and there are heaters out there. You can also bring dogs on the patio! Overall, we had a great brunch here and would definitely recommend it for a fair priced meal that's also yummy and a casual setting. 5 stars! read more

Mapquest needs to be closed down for updates, because the directions I received to The Treehouse were WAY off!!! This place is located back in a swank little neighborhood, that has created it own little party city within walking distance to homes and more upscale apartments. The service received was nice. The waitress was very attentive making sure everything was going well. The parking situation sucks! Although the area is nice, little boutiques and restaraunts, it just clearly wasn't enough room for this large vision the builders had. The food was in my opinion was just average, nothing to really set them apart from any other sandwich shop. The upstairs is really small and crammed, I would recommend downstairs in the extra seating area for comfort. I ordered a Blueberry Margarita which was more like a Blueberry Martini. My Greek salad was nice but not $9 nice. I will probably only return for apps and a beer. I'm not a fan of the chairs. But the food was good. I met a couple of friends here for a periodic dinner-club-thing. Treehouse has been around a long time. That's "really freaking long" in Atlanta restaurant years. It's tucked into a corner of Peachtree Hills, which is itself tucked into a corner behind Buckhead. I recommend you check it out. The entire patio is built around a few trees, lending a nice, airy feel to the place, which I imagine only gets better during the warmer months. Seems like a nice place to grab a casual meal. Service was generally attentive, yet it didn't intrude on our conversations. And the food was tasty. I had a Grilled Chicken sandwich done "Special Delivery" (with sautéed mushrooms, onion & white American cheese). Good stuff. Among the things my friends had were a Treehouse Pizza. Which looked to be just the right size. Next time I may try that. UNLESS I get to go back for brunch. I just took a look at their brunch menu, and there are some tasty-looking things on it. I had such a horrible experience that I had to make a Yelp account to share it. This wait staff is holistically mediocre, but I had one particular run-in with a waitress that I cannot get over. We came with a group of friends and our dogs to sit for Sunday Brunch-- our waitress was bothered, sarcastic and even pushy with us when we were deciding on what to start with. She answered my questions like I was an idiot and could not have looked more miserable to be standing there. This is in our first 10 minutes of sitting down. When ordering drinks, she took our IDs back twice, even with second forms of identification for verification, and then came back to say she refused to serve us. Given that we were all 22 and 23 years old, we were relatively taken back and asked why that was but she couldn't provide any reason other than "I'm not serving you." She repeated that she wouldn't be charged $900 for a STING operation by us (??), which was borderline insulting and completely dramatic, and let it be known she didn't want our business anyways, even said "hope your Sunday gets better" when we went to leave. The vibes are decent, the food depends, but lets be honest, a poor staff is a deal breaker. I'd recommend other similar ambiences like Red Pepper Taqueria, the Nook, or Lady Bird, who have a higher priority placed on customer experience. read more

This being walking distance from my apartment, I love this place. Very cozy and casual and food is very consistent. One thing that I hate is the brunch menu doesn't offer the dinner salads, because the Monterey Salad (with lime cilantro dressing) is my fav! The patio is great, always packed on the weekends for brunch and after church so plan accordingly. Dogs are allowed, overall very chill atmosphere. Parking is limited so I suggest walking if you live nearby! read more

I have always loved the Treehouse. The deck, the service and the food. Sadly things have slipped. Ordered burger and fries. The Burger was rare but good. The fries had to be the worst fries I have ever been served and I have consumed a lot of bad fries. If you come here for a burger stop by McDonalds on your way over and pickup some fries...just sayin! Up your game Treehouse! read more

Pandemic? What pandemic? This place is epitome of irresponsibility. Tables jammed in with guests sitting back-to-back. So maddening to see.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!! Showed up on Friday, 26 June 2020 to meet a buddy for some afternoon cocktails. Arrived around 4p and the patio had a few tables with guests. We sat down and some nasty waitress came by and threw down some menus, NEVER acknowledging me or my friend. We sat for close to ten minutes, and again, was never acknowledged and so we left. I am THRILLED that Treehouse's business is so booming they can neglect and outright avoid their patrons. I will NEVER go back!!! read more

Hidden Gem. Great service, great food.. in an idyllic neighborhood setting. Beautiful outdoor patio with lots of plants. (Perfect outdoor Covid-friendly venue). My fried green tomato's and TRUFFLE pizza.. amazing. This is a bar/pub well worth the visit. Enjoy! read more
