I have been watching this restaurant on social media for more than six months and finally had the opportunity to make it there for a late lunch. Service was really great the server was very attentive and accommodating to the needs of my party of three. The restaurant itself is not for a big crowd at all. It's very tiny and the seating is in close proximity of people you are not dining with. There are options to order from the menu or eat buffet style. We choose the buffet. The buffet did not have many options it was very simple and small. The taste of the food was just okay some of the dishes taste alike and some of the dishes were dried up and needed to be refreshed. In addition i am questioning if the food was prepared 100% Vegan style. Let's just say it's much hype about this restaurant and it's not living up to the hype. We are so happy to have found this place!! Ever since my partner and I became vegetarian at the beginning of 2021, we began missing out on Chinese food as the majority of it contains some type of meat. Image our delight to learn about Trendy Vegan - an all-vegan Chinese restaurant!!! We've been a few times but we tend to be creatures of habit, so we always stick to ordering General Tso's Tofu and the Veggie Lo Mein. We usually order just one portion of each and split it between the two of us as it's the perfect amount with no leftovers! Heads up - the Tofu is NOT great leftover as it gets soggy. Something that's different about this restaurant is that you don't order your food through your server, but instead through the restaurant's app. They have QR Codes on each table that have the menu available and you're supposed to scan that specific QR code as it links the food to your table number. Pretty cool! Allows for minimal mistakes as the server isn't responsible for listening to your order then inputting it correctly. LOL. Speaking of the service... It's always been so pleasant! The servers here are very attentive and friendly. To all of the vegetarians out there - DEFINITELY give this place a try! read more

Pretty good take out menu. The space is smaller than I prefer so I prefer a take out but it's still a reasonable place to sit in and eat if that's your preference. The portions are large and pretty well seasoned. I'm looking forward to trying more options from here. read more

We were over at Costco Saturday afternoon and decided to stop here for lunch since it was just across the street. Cute little restaurant with two sides of seating. You order at the front counter and they bring the food to your table. Nicely decorated and awesome mural! The food was surprisingly delicious! We ordered a few different dishes to share and enjoyed most of them. The salt and pepper tofu were crispy on the outside and delicious soft and tender on the inside! They're made with soft tofu and my friend said this was the only way she would enjoy soft todu! Wish there was more salt and pepper on top cause that's where all the flavor is from! The eggplant and green beans were cooked perfectly and had a delicious flavor - I can't pinpoint it but I couldn't stop eating this dish! The Dan Dan noodles came cold - which was different but refreshing!! Peanutty sauce with tiny pieces of green beans on top - not at all spicy if you want the tradition Dan Dan noodles, this is not it. But I liked it and the noodles were good - kinda looked homemade. The pan fried dumplings were crispy and also had a good flavor profile for being vegan and just veggies! I didn't try the crispy bottom veggie Bao but my friend said she liked the crispy bottom, just was a bit bland in flavor. I guess this was our least favorite dish out of everything we ordered but I can't vouch since I didn't try it. I ordered the Vitality drink with blueberries, celery, chia seeds, etc. Tasted very green and less berry - more like spinach and kale! It was ok but I don't know if I'd get this specific drink again - though it did taste very healthy. Overall, I enjoyed my food here and enjoyed it again when I heated up the leftovers for lunch! I would definitely come back! We paid about $60 for everything - seemed a bit pricey for the size of the dishes; they definitely weren't very large but I enjoyed it and it was a good healthy option! My favorite items are... - Purple Cheese Puffs - Dan Dan Noodles - Veggie Lo Mein - General Tso's Tofu The salad in the bento box is good, and I have also had the Curry Udon which was enjoyable. The one thing I didn't like that much was the Hot and Sour soup, but I think that's just my personal preference (it lent a little too far into the sour for me). I think overall, I would give perhaps a 4.3, BUT since Trendy Vegan is local, the service is excellent, and the food is fresh, creative and VEGAN, I have to round up to a full 5 stars :) read more

While I appreciate this being a fully vegan restaurant, we will never go back. Two of us had explosive diarrhea and extreme nausea as soon as we got home from the meal. It was very greasy food and very overpriced for such shabby quality. Trendy Vegan staff also substituted ingredients without telling us which can be dangerous for anyone with allergies. Again, I appreciate this being a vegan place but that's the only complement I can give. This place will NEVER live up to the predecessor who occupied the same space for over a decade (Pepper Tree Vegan). When Pepper Tree Vegan was in this space, the food was high quality with variety and ambience and friendly staff. Those things are lacking at Trendy Vegan. I truly don't want to get sick from eating at this restaurant again. Once is plenty. I cannot recommend this place. read more

This place offers 100% vegan food. There are so many options that you can choose from. My favorites would be the Salt & Pepper Tofu (definitely love at first bite! So good ), Japanese Curry Udon, and General Tso Tofu. They're so tasty and yummy. Everything else was delicious too.
