    Taco dinner
    Jacqueline F.

After a full day of traveling and being in a plane for hours, then driving from Vegas to Sedona for a few more hours, your girl was HANGRY. My friends and I originally planned to go to the Mexican restaurant across the street but it was packed. Looked across the street and saw Tres Amigos with several tables available and off we went. Glad we came! On a Friday night in Sedona there was no wait and we got our food and drinks within 10 minutes. Got the taco dinner, a giant passion fruit Marg and some chips and salsa and my belly was satisfied. The tacos were delicious, chips and salsa were on point, and the drink was strong and HUGE! The restaurant was pretty casual, no frills, but got the job done. Don't sleep on Tres Amigos!

On our first night in Sedona, we were searching for something that casual yet being to handle our appetites. We found Tres Amigos. We ordered a variety of tacos, plate combinations and margaritas. The prickly pear margarita was especially delicious. Everyone liked their food as well as drinks. They also liked the salsa that came with the tortillas chips. Service was quick and we had no issues.

Great food and drinks! The carnitas burrito was very tasty, the food was fresh, along with their drinks. You could order from the bar or you could order sodas or Horchata drinks. The young lady taking our order was on Point. She greeted us want to see the menu and make sure she included the dessert.. The Tres Leche cake is coming to order. It's probably the best next to my grandmothers and not saying something. It was a great find. It's a sitdown restaurant. It's nice and clean. Stop by if you have a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Went here for a burro before hiking on a Saturday afternoon. You walk in an order at the counter, they hand you a number, and they will bring it out to your table. Service was very quick and helpful. I ordered the carnitas burro which had rice, refried beans, onion, cilantro, and carnitas inside. It came with a spicy salsa and verde with pico and cabbage on the side. Everything was fresh. Chips are super crunchy. Great casual spot to eat.

Amazing food! The best tortilla chips we've ever eaten. You order at counter and they bring food to your table so not fine dining but the food quality makes up for it.

I came here for lunch two days in a row. Everything I've tried so far was good. I had asada burrito and pastor quesadilla. The portion was decent and the flavor was good. My friends liked their mole and tacos. I had Jamaica and it hit the spot right after the hike. I loved their chips too. The place could be busy but it's expected. Their price is reasonable as compared to other restaurants. They also have on site parking. Overall, it's a great place to grab a bite.

The BIG three plate! YUMMO!! The service is also great! We will be coming back to try everything on the menu

I came in with high expectations due to good Yelp reviews and this place lived up to them! I had a fish taco and a shrimp taco. Both were tender and tasty. My son had the birria tacos which were very good. The watermelon agua Fresca was sweet and refreshing. Prices were very reasonable compared to others in the area, especially for the quality and portion of food. Service was friendly. Plenty of seating. Pleasantly surprised in a good way.

I have been in Sedona for 3 days. Two of those days I've been here! I've traveled to Sedona many times but the last time was about 8 years ago. I was driving to the grocery store and saw Tres Amigos and decided to stop in. I got the chili Colorado burrito. It was outstanding! One of the best burritos I've ever had. The next day I thought why not stop in again. I got the Birria Tacos and they too were outstanding! These were the best Birria tacos I've ever had. Filled with beef, cheese... Amazing! The people were kind and friendly. I fear I'll gain 10lbs but that's okay, it's worth it. The hardest part is deciding what I want next. If you are in Sedona and craving incredible Mexican food, ya gotta try Tres Amigos!

Mind blowing Mexican food surrounded by equally mind blowing scenery! We stopped in Sedona for food after a long day of exploring the Grand Canyon and Tres Amigos had a lot of positive reviews and boy were all of those reviews deserved! Not only were we able to order immediately, despite it being a holiday weekend, we were served at our table, and the owner stopped by several times to chat with us and ask us about the food. It was charming and we were able to praise him for the amazing dishes we'd ordered! My sister got birrias tacos and I got a shrimp burrito. When I tell you I have never had shrimp that good I am not kidding. It was fire roasted first with spices, then put in a burrito full of flavour. We all got bites of the birria tacos and they were BURSTING with juicy meat and fried to perfection. I can't even remember what my other sister ordered because I was just so laser focused on my delicious shrimp burrito. Do NOT miss this place if you're in Sedona! Local or tourist you will walk away fed and happy!

Tres Amigos serves up excellent Mexican food with great service. It looks like just a fast food restaurant as you order at the counter but they bring food to the table, water and home made tortilla chips. All the workers were very friendly and quick service. Very reasonable prices for Sedona.

    Sarah M.

The staff are fantastic! Attentive and helpful. The food is average though. The chips were made from flour tortillas which is odd. The mole has more flavor than any other food we tried. The fajitas were meh. Just being super honest. We don't realize how hard it was to find a place to eat and didn't have reservations anywhere which left us with virtually no choices. Again, the staff are great but the food is lacking flavor.

    Michelada BOMB!

Tres Amigos was BOMB! It's cute Mexicana Cocina vibes. They had a cute artsy market outside today! The service was amazing friendly, fast and fun! The CHILAQUILES were THE BEST I've EVER HAD! The quesabirria was fresh with the PERFECT CONSUME! Stop in grab a bite you won't regret it !

Carnitas burrito and quesobirria tacos. Excellent!

We started with the Prickly Pear Margarita and the Mango Margarita, and honestly, you can't go wrong with either. If you made me choose, I'd give a slight edge to the Prickly Pear Margarita. It had a subtle hint of strawberry that was absolutely delicious and so refreshing. But, then again, I loved the Mango Margarita, too. The fresh tortilla chips were fantastic, and every bite of our meal was excellent. I ordered the Tostada Platter with rice and beans, and it was incredibly filling and absolutely delicious. Be sure to watch my video to see how piled high it was. They have vegan options, as well, as seafood, burgers, salads. So, literally something for anyone. The service was wonderful. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hostess (who may have been the owner) made us feel right at home, and our server was friendly, charming, and checked on us at exactly the right times without ever being intrusive. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. And then there's the view... Wow! The panoramic views of Sedona are absolutely breathtaking. Request one of the many window tables, or enjoy the outdoor patio seating to take in the incredible scenery. They even welcome dogs (leashed) out on the patio and have quite a special menu for them: Burgers , Chicken, Steak and Salmon I've included photos and videos because when I looked it up on Yelp, it had great reviews, but I couldn't see enough photos to show how special it was inside. Hopefully you can see that here, because it's now one of my favorite casual restaurants in Sedona. We'll definitely be back!

We ended up not seeing our server for over a half hour. We'd been clearly done dining for awhile - silverware crossed on our plates, plates pushed to the middle, napkins on the table, phones out. All the social cues were there! Still, no one. Other staff passed us so quickly, we barely had a chance to flag them down or make eye contact. We finally flagged down another server and asked if he could send our server to us. It still took another solid five minutes before we saw him again and another five after that to return with our receipt. No apology for the delay, even a half-hearted one. Oof. :( All in all, the food was top notch. The prickly pear mule was fantastic. The service was inconsistent. Your mileage may vary, so give it a shot.

The restaurant itself has a lot of character, it full of textures and colors, had a cute little fountain outside. It just feels homey and welcoming. The menu...is hella pricey for a tamale. I mean even with inflation these days I could get a tamale at most spots where I live for like half the price. I just told myself it's Sedona just except it lol so I went wild and got their extra special tamale with lots of topping to make it a more complete meal. I chose the chicken mole for my filling. I also got their dairy free horchata. First thing the horchata was delicious! Creamy, great texture, not to sweet, seasoned just right. Extra points for being dairy free as milk is not my bodies friend. The tamale however was a major let down. I was so close to just sending it back, but was on a time crunch and starving. The masa was so salty. The mole sauce was barely existent and had no complexity or flavor really. I didn't taste the chocolate or the Chile . Just blah. The toppings and horchata helped make it possible to consume despite the saltiness. So overpriced salty tamale gets 2 stars, ambiance 5, and horchata 5, which is why this place gets a three stars overall. I wanted to love this spot so bad, and maybe it was a bad day, or the wrong thing to get...but their name is literally tamaliza. Their tamale should have rocked my world.

How do you screw up pasta? The description of the dish sounds delish, pasta, mushrooms, chicken, spinach in a tomato cream sauce, it was horrible. Something must have been spoiled in the above listed ingredients to have it taste that way. I had ordered the chicken lettuce wraps as my main and it tasted reheated. The Paloma and Smoky peach margarita had way too much alcohol and also had zero flavor, we asked for them to be removed from our bill because we could not drink them.
