We ordered the Juevos Rancheros with Christmas and the traditional breakfast burrito (chorizo) with red chili. $21.50. The burrito was one of the best we've had with lots more cheese than other places. The Juevos Rancheros with Christmas was great with the green chili side being more spicy than the red but, the red sauce packs a lot of flavor. Great food at great prices! What a solid breakfast and lunch spot on a Marcy Street corner near museums and public offices. My breakfast burrito, smothered in red chili, was tasty with enough kick from the chorizo (you can choose other proteins) and totally filling. It's not a large space for dine-in but comfortable. This is a very small venue so it's wise to check ahead. The guacamole and nachos were excellent, but my wife didn't love the fish tacos. The aguas frescas of this season was like a watered down limeade without much sugar. The food here is very good - nice presentation, quality, tasty! Drinks are good, service is excellent. I went twice in my recent trip to Santa Fe and was impressed by the food and service both times. The only downside is that seating is limited, and outdoor seating is at tables essentially set out on the sidewalk area and in the gravel beside it. It is covered, though, and worth it. Definitely give them a try! read more

Went there with my wife , twice , while attending a week long conference. Food was authentic New Mexico-Mexican cuisine. Very different from San Antonio Mexican cuisine. After hit and miss meals here in Santa Fe we remembered we had this on our list and decided to go for dinner. I had Pozole and hubs had cheese enchiladas. We both ordered traditional margaritas. The food is fantastic! The flavors are wonderful and the margaritas are mixed perfectly. They have indoor and outdoor seating on the sidewalk out front. It reminded me of the restaurants in San Francisco where people walk by while you're eating. The owner is very nice and engaging. Staff was great as well. We ate here for dinner then came back the next day for breakfast and we enjoyed both meals. Two thumbs up and definately would recommend. read more

There's homemade popsicles. Drinks-wine and the hard stuff. And a walk up counter for ordering your meal. There's biscochitos wrapped and ready to go--great little gift. But the fish tacos. Holy yum! So delicious. There was fresh cilantro, jalapeño (my favorite chile) and a green sauce that I have no idea what it is and I really don't care. I devoured all of it. The vibe is very casual. Staff were great. Parking may be a challenge. We found parking easily at a meter, though. This place is definitely a keeper. read more

Great service; you order at counter and pay first. Then full service by wait staff. Pasole was fine! Pork tamales good. Fish tacos had thin strips of overcooked fish, yet still were tasty. Chili relleno was just a tough pepper membrane that could not be cut even with a knife. We showed them and they said " it's probably an old pepper/out of season". But 2 small ones come on a plate and the other shared with husband was fine. No offer to discount. "Perfect Margarita" was delicious. Look, in santa fe, there are plenty of places to get a burrito or some tacos or tamales. This is not one of them. The chili is insanely bland and it is not really made by locals for locals, at least as far as I can tell. I had the tamales and they were not bad tasting or anything, in fact they lacked taste. They were bland, too much masa. THIS IS IMPORTANT. IF YOU ARE VISTING SANTA FE AND WANT AUTHENTIC NEW MEXICAN FOOD. I recommend the following: Atrisco's (the go to place for many locals) Santa Fe Bees (love everything here, amazing staff) El Parasol (excellent tamales and burritos) Cafe Castro (also love this place for pretty much every dish) You'll get authentic food and you'll save a TON of money at these places compared to tres colores. You are very welcome in advance. If you run tres colores, talk to mr. pony tail about his attitude when he greets customers. read more

We were at the Santa Fe Indian Market Art festival and after waking around for a few hours, we decided to stop at the closest place for lunch. Luckily, that place was Tres Colores! It's set up so that you wait in line to order at a counter, no matter if you're dining in or getting carry-out. Most of the tables are outside and it's a seat yourself kind of place. We did have to wait until another big family moved in order to find a table big enough for 6, but that's to be expected with a larger group. The menu had tons of choices and we all got different things for the most part. All of us really enjoyed our meals and the service was quick once we sat down. I got the quesadillas and they were probably the best ones I've ever had. I would definitely stopping by Tres Colores next time you're nearby! read more

Traveled to Santa Fe for a few days and went to this place on our last day. The food was dynamite! I had the fish tacos which were probably the best I've had in a long time.
