WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PROFESIONALISM AND WHERE DID MR. NICE GUY GO? During my original visit, Matthew, my car salesman, was polite, energetic, and professional. Really had a good time choosing my new car with him. On the day of purchase, Matthew couldn't locate the second key which COMES STANDARD with a certified vehicle, so I had to go back to the dealership to get a replacement key fob programmed. (Which wasn't a problem.) There was a lack of communication between us via our phone conversation. (Which is a much longer story...) But, during my second visit, Matthew got so annoyed that he stormed out the office and slammed a door behind himself! And that's UNACCEPTABLE to me! Management did get involved and ultimately got my issue resolved! (I did appreciate that.) But overall, after Matthew made his commission from the sale, he no longer treated me like a valued customer! I originally gave the dealership a FIVE STAR review because I really like my beautiful 2020 Lexus RX 350 and the experience started off very positive. And after going back to the dealership two times after my purchase, I just think that the dealership as a whole is a bit disorganized. Our (hubby's and mine) time just wasn't valued! I recommend not buying a car, warranty or coverage from the dealer. The overall experience was distasteful. If you want to cancel a policy, it going to be extremely hard. They're going to give you the runaround. Also the sales team is very deceptive. They told me my car didn't come with a rear sunshine. On further research, I found out they disconnected a fuse connected to the rear sunshade. I had to pay $400 to get it reconnected. I had purchase a gap coverage and extended warranty at the dealership. I felt I don't need the policy. I canceled both policies with in the 30 date period. I follow up on 40 day to make sure it was canceled, and found out the policy is still active. I contacted the dealer and was told that the is no way to confirm that it was submitted. I took it upon myself to contact the gap coverage directly and the extended warranty directly. It was a good thing I took a picture of the cancellation document or I wouldn't get my full refund back. It took 3 months and 15 days to get the gap coverage refund. I had to send an additional documents for that to be process. I am still waiting on the extended warranty. I contact the extended warranty I was told that the dealer received the check in April 27 and the check got cleared in May 8. I don't know why they are still holding the check. Has to be the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. Countless comments on here about being scammed and lied to. Went in for an oil change where they have tou initial a dozen boxes and review the service. Go to pay - $600 which includes a $475 replacement charge which no one could articulate what it meant. Stay AWAY! I bought Rx 350 with 14000 miles, my engine start knocking on the next morning. I brought them back and they said they will fix it. Mechanics replaced me vacum pump and they said now good to go but it was still knocking. I went again they replaced another vacuum pump but problem is the same. If I could give a zero or below I would. They are totally incompetent here. I bought a new car. I paid them to get the new registration for the plates. When I went to get the registration I saw they had the wrong car. They said they would expedite and get me the registration in a week. That was 3 weeks ago. They do not return calls. They have not responded to Lexus.com complaints. They declined to give me another temporary plate. Another reviewer said deceptive, dishonest and disorganized and it is true. Went here wanting to purchase a Lexus after a test drive. As soon as we got in seat the sales person ask me sign a paper stating that if they gave me the right price I would take the car today. I was hoping to buy a Lexus SUV. I was going to finance about 20k depending upon the model I bought. They tolds me that there financing was 1.9%, but consistently came back with number that were obviously much high than that. About 20-21% (note attached image). When I questioned the sales person on why the monthly number was double what it should be he said he would work on it and came back with a monthly that was $20 less. The number should have been about $350 give or take. When I asked him (4 times) what the interest rate was on his calculation he would not tell me. In addition, the sales person told me that there would be NO premium on the MSRP, but when I got the numbers back, each time, it was written in. When question him on this, he took it off and acted like he was making a big concession. My opinion is that this place is a RipOff and you should be very much suspicious of ever number they give you because they will try every trick in the book to screw you.....or better yet stay away. All I wanted to do was test drive a preowned vehicle. I spoke to an inside sales rep twice ( my husband called as well) confirming the vehicle was at the location. I arrive and there were signs denoting "preowned building" and new car building. I park near preowned blg and walk into the showroom. It was beautiful and the music was playing with absolutely no one around. I called out, no one in sight. I called the number and it took me through the annoying prompts just to ask a live person, where do I go? She directed me to the back of the new car building. I checked in with the receptionist who was way more interested in talking to her coworker standing at the counter and politely asked me to sit in the waiting room. The showroom was newly decorated, it was beautiful. I sat in the waiting room and watched three episodes of Catch 21. Not much of a TV watcher but it was entertaining. After the first episode, I walked back to the reception desk asking about my scheduled appointment ( I had received a text confirming my appointment) she told me to wait, no one was available to help. A bit annoyed, I sat down and waited. A manager walked by and asked me if I was being helped, I said no. He asked me to wait and he wld be right back. To his word, he checked and came back and told me I wld be helped soon. The sales man who ultimately retrieved me, had walked by the waiting room several times already. I recognized him. This is where the fun happened. 40 minutes later, with no apology we walked across the fancy showroom to see a customer who walked in 20 minutes earlier be fawned over by two sales people because she was looking at a NEW car. Now I was understanding what's going on. I'm looking at a preowned Lexus, not a new one. The sales person I got was a 20 year old untrained young man. I need to mention this next part because someone could get hurt. When I went to sit in the $20 cheap chairs they had for customers, it was on wheels and the darn thing moved so quickly on those beautiful new shiny slick floors I almost landed on my backside. Yes, it would have looked funny to most if I fell but it would have hurt like hell. Lexus take note... this is an accident waiting to happen in your own show room! Now on to an awkward conversation with the young man who clearly wasn't trained or was and shouldn't be in sales. He absolutely did not pick up my vibe of being annoyed. He should have tried to smooth it over, honestly it wouldn't have taken much. I told him I was here to test drive a particular car. I gave him my info; nothing to sell, financing the car, my down payment, nothing to sell again, I was very clear. He asked me where I found the car.. on my website or theirs as he's looking at my phone with the Tri County's website opened. ‍. Then he asked how I would be paying the down payment which kind of confused me, I asked him what he meant, he said "cash or check" to clarify himself, which made me more confused but I laughed and said I'm not going to walk in Here with a bag full of cash, so I will use check. From the time I almost fell on my ass to this point it was another 10 minutes. He tried to look busy on his computer or just couldn't find the car. Finally, he asked for my license to make a copy. Another 10 minutes later, this guy is not back. I get up, walk to the other desk where there are two guys doing nothing, I said I need my license, I'm out of here. Somewhere behind one of the cubicles the manager I met earlier magically appears asking what the problem was and I said I'd like my license, the service here is horrible. My sales boy comes strolling back with the keys to the car and my license. I Took my license and left. Did it need to take him another 10 minutes to get the keys and make a copy? No! When I made the appointment the inside sales agent said the car would be ready for a test drive at my appointment time. I can 100% compare my experience to other dealerships. We saw a vehicle on their website. We called to inquire about it. We told them we lived about 1 1/2 away. When we got there we were told to wait for the salesman whom my husband spoke to. We ended up with another one. We told home the vehicle we were interested in. He told us they have it for the price, BUT it needs "$4000-$6000" worth of work! It would have been nice and HONEST if they told us that before hand!! Total waste of time and gas! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Here's an update: we walked into their showroom - the manager there stuck some new guy on us, he couldnt have been more than 19 years old. We wanted to buy a brand new lexus RX 350. This guy literally knew nothing about the car - he'd just nod his head to any question i asked him. So we get back into the showroom to start discussing numbers. First thing these guys do is put out a $2,400 fee for "Cleaning" - the car is brand new - what do you need to clean? And $2.4k for cleaning!? We couldnt get out of this place fast enough. We ended up purchasing the brand new lexus rx350 from Lexus Rt 10 - which is highly recommended. These guys remind me of that sleazy car salesmen from the movie True Lies (think Simon was the guys name). read more

The sales and the service at this dealership are the WORST ! And when I say the worst I mean dishonesty , Fraud , harassment , and even an unsafe vehicle to drive! The certified pre owned car are sold without even being inspected for the basic components !! I've been through multiple incidents through out just the 10 months period I have owned the car , ended up by calling the police!!! Long story short in 10 months period with 10 k miles that I drove , the car needed brake rotors , brake pads , battery , engine oil injectors and filter and many other smaller issues . I believe a true certified 2018 Lexus car with only 30k miles shouldn't have all these issues in the first year after purchase !! Moreover things was never straight forward with everyone works in that place ! back in May 2022 and now December 2022 same scenario of having my car inspected during maintenance and everything was checked green and and days apart it's red and has to be changed and I have to pay for it ! I saw an internet listing for an 2019 NX300 for 28K, confirmed the listing with the business, went in to see the car, and was told that the actual price was 42K. This is funny because that is actually more expensive than the MSRP for a new NX300. The salesman's reasoning for this price was because they charge 20% higher than the sticker price for new cars. Which is also funny because 2019 is pre-covid so I doubt anyone paid that much for a new car then. FYI, the prices on their website includes EVERY SINGLE DISCOUNT POSSIBLE (veteran, lexus loyalty, etc.) which is virtually impossible to get. This part is also undisclosed and they market it as the "Internet Price". Fraudulent business. Excellent liars. Don't be the fool this establishment expects you to be. It was a very unprofessional experience.I had an appt with Juana Jeffry but ended up with Jim M. He left my i.d. on his desk by mistake. We came back in and he took a picture of it eithout asking. I was asked if I was single twice by two people. I was asked if I got "hooked up" on my trip to Amsterdam. There were times when I had to call 5 times to get through to my salesperson. Either the call was dropped, not answered or nobody was available. My sales rep burdened me twice with a story about his health and being hospitalized. The finance man Mario was very bothered and curt when I asked questions. He was quick to say if I don't like it they won't sell me the car. Twice he was condescending stating "if I can read". I ended up walking out of his office. My salesperson was leaning into my personal space trying to adjust the steering wheel. He ignored my concern about the car color 3 times when I texted him after the sale. The NEW car had 38 miles on it and crumbs under the mat. The floor mats were thrown in and not secured down. The window has some sort of sticky film on it that appears when it rains, and there is writing on the window. I was called a liar when I said my app says the color is terrane khaki m.m. and I ordered Nori Green. When I came to discuss it in person nobody greeted me friendly. The new manager Mike asked me if the color was disconti ued. How the heck would I know? I don't work for Lexus. They wanted me to prove that I ordered the Nori Green. What??? The cargo all weathee mat is missing, and at first I was told I did not get one with that vehicle. Now it is on back order. This was the worst experience ever. Also they have not water or soda or food to offer to their customer. There was a coffee machine and thats it. They are very low brow for a luxury dealership. The only decent person was Kelvin. I leased my Lexus ES 350 in 2018 from this dealership in 2018. I've been getting calls and texts since Friday regarding a potential buyback for my car from someone named "Brian". He stated in the text messages that people were looking to buy used cars like mine etc. told me they were paying over book value, that they had very aggressive pricing, and they needed used cars for their preowned lot. This was a promotion that only their dealership was running and there was a chance based on my information that I could potential end up returning my car and leaving with a new one. Great. I was in communication with him via text and asked several questions that I received vague answers to. I told him I lived 40 minutes away from the dealership as I had moved and I needed to know more information so I knew the trip would be worth my while. His response was that they had to see the car in person to be able to assess my situation before being offered any deals. Here is his exact message to me: " Unfortunately without your vehicle here there is not much I can do. I need to have my appraisal team take a look at it and once we determine what we can do with that then we can work on the new vehicle pricing. Your current lease is a 45 month lease. Where are you located?" Instead of connecting me with a sales person to discuss this over the phone before taking the trip, he told me he needed the car in person. Fine. I took a 40 minute trip from Linden only to get there to be told there is absolutely nothing that can be done because of the length of my lease and the value of my car / model. It wouldn't make sense for the dealership to buy it back and put me in something new. Fine. I am not upset about the fact that I didn't walk out with a new car .. my intent was to see what my options were if any ... and make a decision from there. But the whole trip could have been avoided. The only thing my salesman needed was the vin number and the mileage on the car which I could have just given to him. They have my lease info in their system .. so why the trip ? Why is Brian lying to customers to lure them into the office when they could easily be checking into my account prior to ever contacting me? I wasted over an hour of my time plus mileage on my car AND gas for what ? Nothing. I thought you were in the business of selling cars .. not wasting people's time. Not BSing them into coming into the dealership. This dealership is shady at best. The salesman Hassan was great with me two years ago and he is the only pleasant experience I've had with this dealership. The owner must be delusional and seriously hurting because of COVID to think that doing business this way is acceptable. For anyone who is a customer of this dealership and who has received a voicemail or a text from BRIAN. BEWARE OF BRIAN! Brian is full of crap. He will not look into your account before contacting you to see if there is legitimately a potential deal to be made he will simply call you and solicit you via voicemails and texts to try and get you in the dealership. I was even told I could void the warranty on the car if I brought it somewhere else. "Let me look up how much a new engine will cost you if you don't come in" is what I was told. I have been "taken off the list" at least 15 times and still get calls. I was taken off the list yesterday and received a call today. I have called multiple managers and nothing changes. When I ask the caller for a manager I always get the same answer " None are available their all in a meeting" I have heard that at least 10 times. I went the week before Christmas driving two hours for my appointment. I was told my salesperson was coming from an hour away. When I arrived there was no one specifically assigned. I waited close to 30 minutes. The sign in girl made me feel like an inconvenience. I spent three hours there between discussion, test drives and the baloney negotiating. After repeatedly telling them I wanted a price sheet all I could get was a monthly payment figure. They outright refused to give me a proposed invoice. After Christmas , the salesman called and came back with a reduced figure but still no invoice. Spending that kind of money one doesn't need games. Their 0% financing needs State investigation as it flat out isn't 0%. I suspect my very nice sales person Isaiah had his hands tied about invoicing. My partner and I were interested in an off-brand car we saw online. Our salesperson, Ren, was incredibly nice from the beginning. He understood our financial concerns and worked with us to get the best price. The car we bought is in the best trim, lowest mileage, and the color we wanted for the lowest price including fees. He really worked with us which is much appreciated with inflation! It was comfortable and did not feel feel pushy at all. I entered an agreement to lease a 2022 Lexus UXH from Tri-County Lexus Little Falls NJ in June 2022. The estimated delivery time was 6-8 weeks. I left them a 2500 deposit. On 8/25/22 while on vacation I received a call from the salesman letting me know my vehicle was in. I made arrangements to pick my vehicle up on Mon 8/29/22 after returning from my vacation. When I arrived at the dealership I was told my vehicle had "been damaged"?? But the salesman had forgotten to call and let me know ?? The dealership assured me they would expedite a new vehicle and I would get it in 1 to 2 weeks. On Wed 8/31/22 the salesman called me trying to convince me to lease a Lexus ES instead. I said I would research the ES but really wanted the UXH (the ES is a large sedan and the UXH is a small hybrid SUV... two totally different vehicles). The salesman said he would call me back on Sat 9/3/22 to update me on the UXH delivery and to see what I thought about the ES. He never called. I showed up to the dealership unannounced on Mon 9/5/22. The salesman tried to tell me he was too busy on Sat to call me as he had promised?? He then asked if I liked the ES?? NO it's a totally different car and not what I wanted. He then tried to get a finance guy to come talk to us but my spouse walked up to the counter said we don't want to talk to anyone else either provide the Lexus or refund our money. Eventually they agreed to refund the money. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I ended up purchasing a beautiful 2022 tango red Audi Q3. I was told by the dealership where I purchased the Audi Q3 that Lexus definitely sold the Lexus I had ordered to someone who must have agreed to pay more for it. Tri-county Lexus of Little Falls is dishonest and def does not have their customers best interest. Do yourself a favor and buy your Lexus elsewhere. Or better yet but an Audi!! read more
