Been going to the Triangle Pub for 30 years. Always loved the food and felt it was reasonably priced. NOW, place is a joke. $11 for a hamburger (the larger burger but nothing earth shattering), AND they want to charge you extra for the basic fixing- cheese, tomato, lettuce?? They offer a salad for $2 bucks extra but then they delete the fries. So for about $20 (without tip...) I got a hamburger with cheese, a salad and an ice tea. JOKE as far as Im concerned. Been patronizing this place for years and seems to be hit or miss...sometimes service is great sometimes not....sometimes food is tasty, sometimes not. Love to patronage the local establishments , but what got to me was when I had asked for a simple BLT. Although it was't directly on the menu, I figured it was a common staple that anyone could make....Bacon,Lettuce, Tomato and mayo on bread - all the ingredients clearly included in other selections on the menu. I figured I'd ask if they could make it with no expectation either way if the could not...But the waitress claimed that she didn't even know what a BLT was, definitely didn't have it and started to mock me in front of my family and friends. When I asked how she couldn't possibly know what a BLT was, she started to become defensive and confrontational. I immediately backed down and kept my mouth shut as it was a non issue and she was correct..it was not on the menu lol. read more

Starts off with the waitress comes to our table does not say hello just says Drinks well we give her our order 30 minutes later 1/2 our drinks order shows 20 minutes later our apps show up the waitress is carrying the order with big bowl of raw clams app and our potato skins app inside the bowl my wife is allergic to seafood this is not how you carry out people's food we send back the apps. Waitress then informs us that they do not separate the fried foods fish and French fries go in the same fryer so my wife ask for a salad instead with her burger when food showed up burgers were o overcooked coleslaw went bad nothing was good waitress was rude never come back to check on order would have been better off at burgerking than this shit hole! read more

5/12/2019 I've been here a few times after work with my friends for some food and drinks. Quality food. Good tunes. Fun patrons. But tonight.....I have never been so insulted by a bartender. EVER!!! I don't know who was slinging drinks but as I patiently waited to be cashed out, the bartender of this night came to me and I asked to pay my tab. When she saw my last name of Dickerson, she decided it was appropriate to laugh at me and my last name. Saying "it's funny!" "We have a good time here." I don't know where the training in customer service came from, but WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND MAKES FUN OF A PAYING PARTON'S LAST NAME?!?! It's not in good fun! The professionalism from this woman was gutter. I have sent many of my co-workers and FAMILY to eat here. I will tell them not to ever go here again. Nor will I step foot in this establishment again. We come here to eat in and take out frequently. The bar is very loud and busy so expect some noise, but it's a fun place and the food is really good and reasonably priced. Be sure to come with an appetite to this Eastport bar/ restaurant with quite an "out of state" feel to it. Started with the corn fritters which came on a heaping plate for $6 and were very good. Ordered a burger. Was asked if I wanted the small or the large so, I opted for the large... yikes. They weren't kidding. It was good but way too big. Tried the fish and chips which were lite and flakey and, again a huge portion. Service was very friendly and prices are quite cheap for the area. Will certainly come back and recommend it but be sure to arrive with a very empty stomach. read more

I have been eating here since i was old enough to chew food, the place has gone through a few changes from what I'm told, but its an institution! I dont think I have ever ordered anything but a burger (dont be a wimp order the large) not because I am worried the rest of the menu isnt as good, but because the burgers are so awesome I dont want to deviate! I love their wings to, simple, meaty, fried just right, tossed in hot sauce (franks?), no goofy flavors, just simple comfort food done right. Pay no mind to the haters complaining about the "atmosphere" this isnt a gastro pub where your server has giant earings and you get kimchi on your salmon burger,and eat it in a room full of repurposed driftwood and art from independent artists, this is just good old fashioned, simple american pub food at its best. The service is usually pretty attentive and the waitresses are always friendly, but the place gets busy, and loud, and that's just fine, you should never go to a restaurant in a hurry anyway, relax, enjoy the people, and most of all the food. Triangle pub please don't ever change! The only thing I would suggest, please, get shades for the sunroom area, gets really hot and uncomfortable on sunny days, last time we were there the kids were really bothered and the poor waitresses had to move us mid meal. read more

This place has been here a long time, its a non-hipster place, not a place to be seen, non-trendy. The food is excellent, the dining room is quiet and the bar area is very noisy. Good entrees and desserts as well. Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

They have a great menu and nightly dinner specials (Prime Rib, Tilapia Dijon, Mahi Mahi Casino, Grilled/ Blackened Salmon etc. . . $15-18). I come here for the standard "pub" food: juicy breaded chicken fingers (fresh, not frozen type), (slightly overdone) jalapeno poppers, and good-sized buffalo wings, about twelve to the large order. They have two sizes of burgers available, The $5 and the $6. I had the larger one with pepperjack cheese. .. comes with steak fries but they get you 75 cents for any extra toppings. .. Still, its a great deal, a big homemade patty that gets fatter toward the center. Good Burger. Hard working waitresses. Seems like a good bar to get drunk in if you live in the area. I always wonder when a restaurant claims a "famous burger". I can say that the burger was better than the service, however that is not saying much. After watching a server pass us by four times as we stood next to the Please Wait to be Seated sign we finally got seated. What followed was a good size burger but not the tastiest. The Triangle Pub is right around the corner from my old house. We usually get takeout once a month from here, I've also dined in a few times, but I would rather just do takeout. The food is your typical bar food menu, Burgers, Sandwiches, Wraps and a pretty standard list of appetizers. When I order, I usually get a marinated cheeseburger with fries and the mini-tacos The burgers are pretty good. They cook them just how you like and there are a lot of different toppings you can choose from. My only complaint is that the "marinated" burger isn't really marinated, they just put the "marinade" on your burger after it's been cooked. The marinade is very tasty (definitely soy sauce based), it just sucks that it pretty much soaks up your entire bun into a mushy mess. Still delicious though. The mini-tacos are probably frozen and thrown in the deep frier, but they're perfect and they use good quality tacos and they always come out perfectly crispy with cool sour-cream and salsa for dipping. I've never been here for the bar, but you could almost consider this place a biker-bar. Some nights when you drive by there are TONS of motorcycles parked outside. Not surprising as it's just off sunrise highway and you always find groups of bikers making drives out to the Hamptons during the Summer. It's not the prettiest place you'll ever visit, but it's charming and the prices are great for what you get. My family and I have been ordering food from Triangle Pub for many years. Today we ordered dinner for our family. Upon getting the food, the bag was very tightly packed and the containers were not closed all the way. Once we got the bag home, from the amount of food in the bag, the bag broke. My father than called the restaurant to make the manager aware of the problem and the manager was very rude and called my father profanities. He then proceeded to discriminate saying "we don't need people like you coming here. People like you want free food." Then proceeded to call him other profanities. Our intentions were not to receive a free meal, it was to correct the fact that we lost over one hundred dollars in food due to the staffs lack of care in packaging our food. We, as well as our many friends in our community, we no longer be giving our service to triangle pub due to their discrimination and disgusting customer service. read more

As you read this know a few facts . I live within 1/4 mile from Triangle Pub . I've frequented the restaurant many times a year for many years . I've called the restaurant for their dinner specials . For some odd reason they don't post their specials on their advertised website. They claim to do so on Facebook . They do but it's never updated ( usually weeks behind) The bartender ( female ) answers in a rude voice and when asked about the specials she says she has no time . I then ask her if she can get me someone that can help me and rudely says no and hangs up . This happened about 5 times so far . I even had company and had the speaker on so they can witness this . We all agree that this is the first restaurant that hires people that actually drive business away and is so rude to their patrons. I'm actually hoping they close due to people choosing a business that welcomes and appreciate their business. DONT GO HERE !!!!!!!!!! read more
