A beautiful bookstore with a well organized selection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and overall vibe of the store is so cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't get the opportunity to try at the cafe but it looks adorable. (FYI: Make sure you have a bag if it's raining because they only offer paper bags here)

I love browsing staff recs at bookstores

We came in here unplanned. It was 8:10am and we were walking around Newbury. Not many stores were open and we wanted a small bite to eat. And to escape the cold. We walked by, not realizing that Trident was open. Then we saw a woman seated at the table by the window sipping her coffee! So we counted out lucky stars and walked right in! We walked around the bookstore first. So much to browse here - the staff recs! I've already read some, some are on my tbr list but some are new to me! Will take note of the new titles. We moseyed over to the cafe and ordered the potato chuckwagon. You can order using the QR code or with the paper menu. Both are so easy! It was the most delicious breakfast for us - the eggs were poached perfectly with runny yolks. We cleaned our plate! Highly recommend! Will definitely come back!!

My husband used to come a lot to Trident while he was studying in Boston. So he was thrilled the place still exists, it's doing well, thriving! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved this bookstore instantly, cute building they are located in, it has a cozy feeling, but it's bigger than you'd think![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The books selection is very good, nicely curated and arranged. Lots of new titles to browse and discover. They also sell nice merchandise, very cool, high quality souvenirs. I am glad I got some, they were reasonable and very cute, didn't see anything like it around. Clean restrooms, nice customer service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Didn't eat at their cafe, but food and their outdoor area looked enticing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This would be a great place to meet friends for lunch, coffee, a pick me up. Great cafe option for Newbury street where I wasn't taken with food options. Trident is a solid, local indie bookstore, a great place to shop at!

How could this place get anything other than 5 star ratings? It's a bookstore and diner in one! What a dream. The service at the cafe was outstanding, and my breakfast was delicious. The food is very reasonably priced too for a busy street in a big city. So many books and gifts to choose from. Perfect way to spend an hour on Newbury Street!

We dropped in for coffee and book browsing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store was bigger inside than it lookef from the outside, two stories.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe section was as big as the book section.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cafe was located in both the first floor and second floor. We order an Americano and cappuccino. Both hot drinks were delicious and needed because of the cold weather. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The book area was tight, but with a very good selections.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My youngest daughter found a book she liked on sale. So she brought it.sll the employees we encountered were very helpful and nice.

I ended up visiting Trident Booksellers & Cafe two days in a row, and that alone should tell you how much I enjoyed it. The first visit was simply to look for postcards after it was recommended by a local acquaintance and featured in my hotel's staff picks. Not only did they have postcards, but they also sold stamps, books, gifts, and all sorts of fun trinkets. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself is what really stood out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came back the next morning for breakfast and ordered the Southwestern Breakfast Burrito, swapping the tortilla chips for Impossible meat. Despite the jalapeños and salsa, it wasn't particularly spicy, but it was hearty, flavorful, and very satisfying. The tortilla wasn't the most authentic, but it held everything together well and didn't get soggy. A solid breakfast burrito overall. That said, the food is only part of the appeal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The real draw is the atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can comfortably grab a meal, browse books, get some work done, and linger for a while.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the whole space had a welcoming, lived in feel. Definitely worth a stop if you're on Newbury Street.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I like how they combined a bookstore and restaurant together! It's a cute concept where you can walk around looking for books while waiting for your table if the wait is long.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's lots of knick knacks to look at inside the store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was good and our server was nice in taking our orders. They even thought to split out all of our orders so we paid separately than together.

Quaint and cozy. Get lost. Have a coffee maybe lunch. They'll find you and bring it wherever you decide to hang out in the store

Stopped in for brunch with 2 friends on a Saturday morning! The food was delicious and service was quick and efficient. We did have a reservation as it was very busy inside the book store and the cafe as well. They offer outdoor dining as well but we ate inside. They offer a QR menu where you can order quickly and the food is brought out to your table. It's a nice vibe to eat in the cafe and then explore the bookstore after with the large selection. Would definitely come back again!

New favorite place in the city for breakfast!!! Reasonably priced food that's yummy - love! Location on Newbury Street - love! Fun, quirky bookstore to roam through after - love! Seriously, so much to love about this place!!! I've been here twice now, and the service has always been amazing!!! So friendly, assertive, and timely. The food has also been good and yummy. This last time, my family and I sat outside, so my 20 month old could watch the trucks go by. The staff were so accommodating and helped bring a high chair outside. Little acts of service and hospitality like this really elevate an experience and make it memorable. We had the best time (except for the bees) and will definitely be back.

I came in on a Sunday afternoon with my wife and while she shopped, I decided to sit in the café and enjoy a nice meal. I got the shepherds pie and sweet potato fries, both were delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, I enjoyed the ambience and the service was not too bad, considering every table was full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is a great spot to sit and spend time while you're loved one shops, just be prepared to wait a little bit extra long just because they are so busy all the time. I enjoyed my time and the food was great.

The perfect spot for a quick breakfast! Our food was delicious and came out very fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store has so many little treasures to explore.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Nice place for latte and glass of wine, which is exactly what we had while stopping by before heading to the airport. Lots of books - of course! - and a great looking food/drink menu. Decent space but packed with merchandise so it definitely feels tight. It is in a great location near a T stop, other awesome shops, and walkable to many things. Good service - order thru QR code and then staff brings it out. In addition to the wide selection of books, they have cute merch/retail - gifts, knickknacks etc. I would love to try the food next time! @azfitfoodfun

We weren't sure how to enter, so we started in the bookstore and found their convenient elevator downstairs! The restaurant is tiny but cozy, which is the perfect atmosphere for a book store! We sat outside in the little courtyard and it's a mix of magical and relaxing! There were only a few tables, so it wasn't overcrowded and with nice weather, it was perfect. I had a salad with salmon on the side which was delicious - and the ginger lemonade - wonderful! From buttered noodles to seafood, everything was executed well. The staff didn't rush us even though they were busy - and they had to give really long wait times to a number of others, but we still weren't rushed. I would highly recommend reservations, but even without we were treated very well. Pricing was in line with city pricing - and the food was extremely high quality and produce was lovely - not a shriveled lettuce leaf in sight. We then went upstairs to the bookstore and perused - each floor has something fun to see (including a tiny kids door - or is it a mouse door for the mouse who stars in the book about the store?!). 100% worth a visit - definitely stop in!

The place is so adorable and photogenic, no doubt! But beyond that?…read more I had hoped to come enjoy a book, but unfortunately, Instagram has turned this cute bookstore into a tourist site. Long loud tourist lines for the restroom make it hard to actually sit for a moment enjoying this beautiful space.
