Hostess was about to sit us by the kitchen and I asked I we could sit somewhere away from the kitchen and she was kinda snotty about it. Sat us at a different table and kinda just threw the menus and stomped off. Kind of comical! If you want fried food and a drink, this is the place. Shrimp and fries were good. Burger was good. Ambiance sucks. Will pass on this location in the future.

If you appreciate pub-style cuisine, this establishment might be to your liking. This was our initial visit, and I do not anticipate a return. We found everything to be excessively salty, and the food did not seem fresh in the slightest. None of us enjoyed our meals. My husband's fish and chips were not palatable at all. My mother's shrimp platter was overcooked, and her fries were also too salty. My Philly Cheesesteak did not meet my expectations based on my previous experiences with the dish. Additionally, my sweet potato fries were overly salted. We have no personal complaints regarding our server, as her service was excellent. The place is small and needs an upgrade on furniture.

The HH menu has a delightful selection of tasty dishes. I would recommend the buttermilk chicken tenders. I was expecting small cuts of chicken tenders. To my surprise, it was chicken patties size! The second dish I liked are the crispy cod tacos. The tortillas included with the fish tacos are local which made the tacos taste unique. This restaurant is a thumbs up for HH.

Quick bite for Thursday game. Oysters for appetizer and went with a crispy chicken salad & hubs had The Wildcat . Nothing fancy. Drinking soda water with lemon for me & Hubs had pale ale. Till next time.

Came back again just to see if the service would be different this time. We were greeted and sat and our server came and served us which was more than the first time we came. She was lovely and accommodating too. Getting us condiments and refilling our drinks. The food was great. The restaurant was loaded but I'm happy that at least we were served instead of not being taken care of our first time.

I usually get the fried cod, which is excellent, but tried the Philly cheesesteak today. Really delicious. Well-seasoned beef and the roll was lightly toasted. A little messy, but our server brought extra napkins!

Great food! Started with crab cakes and they were full of crab meat and flavor! The fried fish was also very meaty and flavorful! Service was prompt and polite!

We stopped for lunch on a very busy day. We were seated shortly and the servers were quite busy. We opted for burgers and my husband tried a cup of their chowder. The Hubbs does present a list of special instructions when ordering a burger - and this was one of the first restaurants to get it right! No small feat especially when busy. Excellent service and lots of friendly patrons We admired the variety of sandwiches being served at other tables. We will be back.

2 baked cod tacos and a cup of clam chowder

First time at this location and I would return. The service was fantastic. I wish I caught our servers name but she was very attentive and was helpful in helping me decide what to order from their massive menu. I went with a cup of clam chowder and the baked Alaskan cod tacos. The clam chowder was decent, they do not skimp on the clams. The tacos were different, topped with actual coleslaw that they also serve as a side for the entrees. The portion size for the tacos was generous, especially for the price, and the salsa was better than some Mexican restaurants. I was missing a sprinkle of cilantro on top. We also got a side of Old Bay fries and they were crispy and delicious! Between 2 of us we couldn't even eat half of them. They had the Monday night game on the TVs and the sound on too. I really enjoyed this place.

Service was great, quick and servers checked back several times. We ordered calamari appetizers w/ turned into 2 more orders.

Food is solid for a sports bar with a seafood flare. Crystal the bartender is friendly and great at what she does.

My wife, who is not a sea food fan doesn't want to go here and try it because she's afraid it's going to smell like fish. I'm certain that it won't but seeking reassuring answers. Any feedback on this subject?

We got there and there were no low top tables available inside (needed a high chair), so we had to sit outside. It was completely empty outside. The hostess led us to a table and chairs that were soaked by the misters. She acted like it was fine. There was only one other low top outside. We went to it and there were tons of red ants crawling all around the ground and up the table and chair legs. Also a bunch of leaves and debris. The whole time going from table 1 to table 2, then noticing and commenting on the ants, the hostess was right there. No apology or attempt to clean anything up. Just standing there awkwardly, watching us take in the disappointment. It was clear the outside was not cleaned or even looked at in quite some time, and that would not change, so we left. We went to Lil Abners instead. As soon as we got there, we realized our terrible experience at Growlers was a blessing in disguise. The drink deals are better and cheaper at Lil Abners anyway. Plus, despite a staff of mostly high school and college age kids, they actually do a good job of making sure you have a good experience. And of course, the food is a million times better. So long Growlers. We won't be back.

The interior is visually congested, not in a bad way but with lots of decor, seating, movement areas and etc. It makes a feeling of the space being busy and distracting. I prefer calmer spaces but it's not terrible. Service was prompt, frequent and wonderful. An older woman came by and asked how we wanted salsa and made us a bowl which was INCREDIBLE! So savory, spicy, fresh and left me wanting more. (You get a certain amount salsa and chips per person than you gotta pay). It was literally perfect. We weren't super hungry and wanted to share, to us the serving was more than enough for two. We enjoyed a house rocks margarita, grilled steak fajitas with rice and beans, sides of sour cream and guacamole and also some chips and salsa. It was all very well made, came out steaming and was very satisfying. The space felt cold to me, but seemed fine to all else. So just a note there if you run on the warmer side. I don't know if they do reservations, but I would imagine on some nights it would be a good idea seeing as they seem very busy.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.
