I love stopping by this location when I want to get a quick lunch because the service is fast the food is fresh and I don't have to worry about parking I know the location has varied hours so check that before you head down but absolutely the best and still cheapest lunch in the downtown area

Very authentic Italian market and deli. I bought a bottle of wine and the prosciutto and cheese bread . It was delicious and fresh . I loved it and the prices are reasonable. They also press their own olive oil which I plan to buy on my next trip to their market !

Authentic small Italian deli that I can't wait to return to. Fresh authentic everything. Pastas, Meats, Sauces, Wine. Customer Service was welcoming. And my sandwiche was fresh and freaking amazing. Check this place out.

I've only recently become a sub girlie, so I can't say I've achieved expert level quite yet, but blimey the Italian sub (extra mayo extra mustard bc I'm a saucy lass) was one of the best I've ever had! the meatball sub was beautifully constructed - the roll was lovingly hollowed out, stuffed with tender homemade meatballs, then recapped with the bread innards

Trinacria is a small family owned Italian deli/grocery store. They have incredibly affordable prices on a diverse selection of wine. I love coming here and ordering their Italian cold cut sub from their deli. they also have Italian cookies, pasta, cheeses, and an assortment of bread and sauces as well. Every time I come here the staff is extremely kind and helpful so service is definitely a plus. they do catering as well and have a small location within Lexington market although I strongly suggest visiting their main location on Paca Street.

    Amazing fresh cookies!

A market like we remember. Fresh meats, cookies and great sandwiches. A lot of hard to find items we used to be able to find.

Amazing little Italian shop in Baltimore , old world style that has aalll kinds of Italian groceries including fresh breads . The deli counter has several meats, cheeses & salads . The walls are stocked with Italian can goods and products, the freezer filled with authentic, fresh frozen meals ( you could almost hear Nonna in the back ) They also have a pretty good pastry/ cookie counter - they look so yummy! A good selection of wines makes one want to just eat there and enjoy a fine Italian meal , unfortunately, it's only a grocery store so no place to eat. Check out my pictures and just go!!! Your taste buds and tummy will thank you !!!

Trinacria's a Baltimore institution for three generations (since 1908) of the Fava family is a walk back in time. It is a destination for old world charm and great prices on wines, deli and all the pasta you could ever imagine. Located on Paca Street blocked for the infamous Lexington Market (presently undergoing a revitalization) Trinacria's takes you back to a time when life seemed to be simpler and everyone knew you from the neighborhood. What amazes me is the number of people who travel here from far and wide to source some of the best Italian food and experience an old fashion shopping experience. Where do I start? From the door of course. Walking in you notice the rustic wood floors where countless patrons have strode. You smell the fresh baked breads and notice the wooden bins of loose pasta (buy by the pound). You eye up the shelves of Italian cookies, oils, vinegars, spices and a sundry of canned goods and other macaronis. You notice the deli with a huge list of domestic and imported meats and cheeses and a cold case full of fresh mozzarella and ropes of Italian sausages. The prices are amazing when compared to the big box stores and everything is cut fresh and wrapped by hand in deli paper. If your hungry, try one of their fresh made sandwiches: Italian cold cut, shrimp salad, and my favorite, the Italian tuna on focaccia. My mouth is watering! Look down and around you will see one of the most understated gems of Trinacria's, their wine selection that starts at $3.99 a bottle! I have on many occasions found hidden wine gems for $6.99 or $9.99 that are valued at up to $25 a bottle in my wine app! The last stop is the frozen section which is great to pickup complete frozen meals like lasagna, chicken Marsala, raviolis, manicotti and even frozen dough balls that make the best pizzas at home. This is the real deal, old school institution with great products and even greater people. It truly is one of those places that I call "home.".

Additionally, they sell limes and lemons at the register which if you've ever had a few friends over for drinks, you tend to prioritize the alcohol and forget the limes/lemons. It's always a duh moment for me but because they have them right at the register, it's easy to remember. What I think I like most about The Wine Source is how honest staff are about their thoughts on different wines. If they don't like it, they'll tell you and have enough knowledge to even recommend something based on your tastes. Lot parking can be a little scarce sometimes but that's really out of their control and usually street parking is easy to find in the area. In short, would highly recommend! My friend (who's the wine guy for sure) loves it here and says it's one of the best wine spots in Baltimore to him. P.S. They also sell some food in the shop which I haven't tried yet but I'm sure it's good!

Closest thing to a New Orleans po'boy in Baltimore…read more The Catfish Po'Boy here is no joke. Kimchi-brined fried catfish, remoulade, capers, lettuce, tomato and red onion on a sub roll -- it immediately reminded me of Mandina's on Canal Street in NOLA. That's about as high a compliment as I can give a po'boy outside of Louisiana. My partner had the Heirloom BLT and loved every bite. Fresh heirloom tomatoes, arugula, sprouts, herbed avocado mayo on wheat -- simple and done right. Chuck's has that perfect Hampden energy: unpretentious, a little quirky, genuinely good food. The counter seating where you watch everything made to order is a nice touch. Grab something from the bodega side on your way out. Show up Tuesday for the po'boy lunch special. You won't regret it.

I can confidently say that everyone that recommended this place was right. I had the Seoul skillet with pork belly, kimchi and mushrooms and wow, was it good! The flavors melted perfectly and it was the epitome of a well balanced breakfast. Service was fine - a bit slow, but they were incredibly busy, so I don't fault them at all for that. One thing I do hate is having to continuously ask for my water to be refilled, and I was left with an empty glass quite often but again, they were swamped so I do understand. Ambience is very interesting here, I don't know that I have ever been to a more eclectic restaurant. The decor is all over the place but it really does fit the vibe so I say this with zero negativity. It's quite tight in the space but that's totally fine. Overall I will 100% be coming back and would recommend anyone else do so.

But they do have a wide menu which includes cheesesteak so I decided to give them a try. Then came the 100% disappointing sad cheesesteak I was served. From the soggy bread, to the wrapper that stuck to my cheese and turned my cheesesteak into just the "steak" part. The flavor was that of a piece of bread soaked in water and tasteless. Overall did not come close to fulfilling my craving. Service was the same to follow. I approached the counter where I was greeted. The only customer service part of my experience. I told her my name and she said it would be a few more minutes. The woman then stated talking to her coworkers.. nonstop chatter. All the while the back cooks were bringing up food. And they were bagging it. After about 10 minutes of waiting. I interrupted the chatter and asked if my sandwich would be coming soon (at this point it had been 20 minutes since I ordered). She then asked me my name again and then grabbed a bag that had been sitting in the counter for some time and handed it to me. No apology.. nothing to show my bag had been sitting there for the last 8 minutes while I waited and she as the "greeter" forgot to check on it. So overall I would say the one star given is generous for the service, and food I received from this store.
