I am so glad that I stopped in this place after driving by so many times. They have bomb boba and a great selection I haven't seen anywhere else. Their drinks are guaranteed so if the first one isn't quite right, they are happy to make a change. I'd say all but 1 of the baristas are friendly and give excellent service. "Slim" is probably my favorite barista. The clientele is the geeks and the nerds, some families and on certain days they have live bands. I tend to avoid the music days. There are chess tournaments for the geeks and lots of study tables for the nerds like me or college students. It's a pretty chill atmosphere to study, hang out or just enjoy good boba. Moving from Clairemont to La Mesa I wasn't sure I was going to find a good boba place, however this place really impressed me. I've been here twice in the past month and both have been great, The boba is soft and perfectly cooked, the employees are very nice. I usually get the almond milk tea when trying a new boba spot and it was good, the second time I got the Thai tea with boba which was delicious. This will definitely be my new spot. read more

Usually the quality is pretty good here and I hate writing bad reviews but this is just inexcusable. The boba was old and the drink was heavily infused with syrup. I'm really disappointed, if I'm going to be paying almost $5 for a drink, I'd rather go somewhere else if I'm going to get leftovers. read more

This place is perfect for studying and small group meetings. I have been coming here since the day it opened. Its nice that they customize your drink to the way that you like it. This is my go-to for boba in the area. Their mocha Frappuccino is my favorite and the boba is cooked just right.

I come here quite often and order something different each time, and I am never disappointed. The staff is super friendly and is very good at suggesting products for my friends who have never been. Once again Pep Boys has gone above and beyond. On my way home the other night heard a terrible sound stopped at Pep Boys they said it was very late but as I was leaving Mario solace flag me down and asked me what was wrong. I told him I was worried about my car but it was late and wouldn't be able to be seen tonight he said nonsense go inside we will take care of you right now. My car was deemed safe to drive and I was able to come back in and have the repairs done on Saturday. Thank you Mario for caring enough to stop me and make sure that I was OK. I have tried every Boba milk tea spot in San Diego and trinity tea has the best milk tea you will ever have. Very clean establishment and great service. Walked in to pass time before dinner and I immediately noticed they sold two of my favorites - coconut milk tea and sea salt milk tea. Asked the server which one he recommended and with a grin he confidently advised I go with coconut. Did not disappoint. I added honey boba which was extra and not the freshest (a bit mushy) but the coconut was spot on and not sickeningly sweet which I find occurs far too often with coconut milk tea. My girlfriend ordered the matcha milk tea and it was great. This is a perfect spot in Hillcrest to return to for inexpensive and great tasting boba. read more

Tried some boba teas with my little. The boba was well made- not too soft or hard. I liked that it was quick service and had space to sit.

We just found this place (off Navajo). Service was great. A bit on the expensive side but I ll take it for a good boba.

I like it as a study place. It has plenty of couches, desks, and even a conference room for reservation. Most of the time people come here to study, which gives it a nice and quiet atomsphere, like a cozy library. It also closes late. Of course, I like it also because it is close to my home. Use to be good when they first open. Now there's gnats, the tables and counters are sticky. The floors are dirty and the ice cream unit has dead and live gnats flying in it. They are no longer Clean and that is unsanitary when it comes to handling edible items. read more

I actually like this place a lot. But wow, the "gentleman" (lol) working the counter today had a pretty crap attitude. He was not a happy camper and that was clear. No smiles, no greeting. Just kind of stood there like a deer in the headlights ha. My friend had questions, as she'd never been there before, yet again he was not having it and widening/rolling his eyes like we were stupid... real helpful bud. Didn't even respond to questions asked, just snide remarks. Gave it two stars because at least he the drinks were good. Best Boba in town! Their tea and baked goodies are always fresh, and the Boba is perfectly soft. I will go out of my way just to get the Trinitea Milk Tea. San Carlos location is my usual, but they recently opened one in El Cajon & it is just as good. I wasn't impressed when I tried this place. I came here with my dad because I heard good things about it and wanted to find a cute new place to study. There is spacious room to either work, connect with friends, or read a book. Unfortunately my dad's coffee wasn't great and his bacon breakfast sandwich seemed prepackaged and lousy. My tea was average but I wasn't expecting much. There were flies in the cafe and it wasn't very enjoyable for us. Haven't gone back and don't plan on it. read more
