Black cherry lemon drop...or what's left of it.

Triple George Grill is such a cozy spot with dim lighting that sets the perfect mood. They've got a diner-style counter, plus intimate booths and tables. The menu is straightforward, but the specials are what keep me coming back. This visit I tried the tomahawk special and it was incredible. The star of the show, as always, is the Black Cherry Lemon Drop Martini. Service is consistently top notch and memorable. Can't wait to come back!

By far best of the best for me this year when in Vegas, I highly recommend triple George down town. I felt like a gangster from the movie casino Sipping on some red wine in a elegant steakhouse, great ambience, black, and white pictures on the wall ,great customer service great atmosphere and the food was so delicious ,birthday dinner for my brother thank you guys so much for the wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back and a very big thank you to Mo and the rest of the crew for the superb hospitality.. from Orange County

Had high expectations for Triple George based on what I read but left with mixed feelings. Ordered the $70 dry-aged rib eye medium, and it came out well-done. They offered to cook up a new one. Second one was better but still overcooked. I could tell it was a good cut of steak and well seasoned, but overcooking two steaks is a bit much for a steakhouse. On the bright side, the scallops and Brussels sprouts were excellent. My friend got the truffle burger well-done, but it came out undercooked. Even the table next to us said their prime rib was served cold... so definitely some consistency issues in the kitchen. Management comped the steak and burger, which I commend them for, but surprised the manager didn't apologize for the errors. Our waitress was great, and I could tell she felt bad that our food turned out the way it did. Honestly, the place has potential, but they really need to get the kitchen dialed in to match the prices they're charging.

Has dinner here Saturday night before seeing the Nutcracker. We did the special which is a Caesar salad, tomahawk steak, one side (we did Brussel sprouts) and one slice cheesecake. We also ordered calamari (not so good) and mashed potatoes. The steak was tough. Mashed potatoes were okay. Everything else was really good. We were ignored by our server. I think she might have gone on a smoke break and forgot about us. When she came back to the table she smelled of smoke. I love Triple George. Sad to report a not so great experience. See my pics

Came here on a Sunday around 11am so it was pretty empty. Seated at the bar. My server did a great job explain how the lunch special options for the day. But i opted for the chicken and brussel sprouts and a cesar salad. While I waited she offered table bread. She kept checking up on me if I needed anything else. Very caring. Both the entree and salad I ordered were great. Id recommend them.

Classy meets Delicious! If I was considering the food only, this would a strong contender for my favorite steakhouse ever. My husband and I decided to try their steak dinner for 2 which included a Caesar salad for each of us and an enormous Tomahawk Ribeye, one side of our choice, and one slice of cheesecake to share. This also included their red wine reduction sauce, but we added Bernaise sauce as well along with 2 scallops. We went with a loaded baked potato as our side in keeping with a classic steak dinner. Everything was wonderful and worth being overstuffed when the meal ended. I should give special mention to the complementary bread basket served with butter and herbed vinegar, as well as the wine selection. The Argentinian Malbec I chose was fantastic with the ribeye. We found their Caesar salads not quite traditional as they pulverize their croutons into crispy breadcrumbs, but they definitely use anchovies in their dressing (a positive for us). I loved that they plated the perfectly cooked medium-rare ribeye with roasted garlic and peppers that really enhanced the incredibly flavorful meat. I'm also so glad we added those sweet and tender scallops. Finally, the one "slice" of cheesecake was almost a comical joke. It was the size of 4 slices and perfectly balanced somewhere between creamy, fluffy, and dense. The restaurant offers the sort of dim private booths covered in dark paneling that I thought only existed in old movies and provided a wonderful setting for the huge meal. Service was slightly slow, but they were aware of it and apologized in advance, so no complaints there either. I'm rounding up from a 4.5, but don't hesitate to come here if you're in Downtown Las Vegas. And if you're staying at the Downtown Grand right across the street, don't forget to use the $25 discount coupon as we did!!

When this place opened, it used to be the talk of the downtown area. We went for a happy hour once, but decided to give it a try for dinner...so we made a reservation for a Friday night. When we got there they sat us in the bar area, and it was a little loud, but it was also a private booth..so I liked that part about it. We started off with two prosecco...that was quite lovely with dinner. They started us with a bread basket that was really good. It had a whipped butter with a garlic sauce pooled at the bottom...great way to start a meal. We split an 8 oz filet and got a side of mash potatoes and a side of brussel sprouts. They did not do a split plate charge...I thought that was a very nice touch. We got a side of peppercorn sauce for the steak, yet the steak did not need it...it stood out on its own and tasted delicious! Service was on point and I really enjoyed this meal...I will very likely return if downtown and wanting to class it up a little bit. Prices here are much more reasonable than the counterparts of steakhouses that are in downtown.

This is an absolutely fabulous place for dinner! I had the most amazing french onion soup, calamari, and creme brulee here! Thanks to Chef Nic for an incredible dining experience for us to celebrate my brother and his wife! Lovely place and ambiance.

Amazing find right off Fremont Street. 1. The octopus was ROCKSTAR!! Perfect in every way. 2. Espresso martini was good, but not exceptional 3. The corn was TO DIE FOR! So good! 4. Bone in ribeye, while tender, was so incredibly salty (and overcooked), we chose to leave it behind. They kindly offered to bring us another, but we declined. Would I try triple George again? Absolutely. Would I try another entree? Absolutely.

5 stars -- Triple George's is a downtown Vegas must. We had dinner at Triple George's on New Year's Day and it was a ballet of hospitality... the kind of service that feels rare lately. They actually pick up the phone when you call! And from the host to the servers to the entire crew, everyone brought their best to the table warm, attentive, professional, and somehow still relaxed and human... even on New Year's Day. And the food? Perfection. Our steaks were cooked exactly right, beautifully paced, and genuinely delightful from start to finish. You can tell this place takes pride in doing it the right way... no gimmicks, just classic Vegas steakhouse excellence and a fun, professional team that makes you feel like family. Where is that these days? Also: the staff had this bright sense of humor that only comes from teamwork and being appreciated. I truly hope leadership is as solid behind the scenes as what they deliver to the table. If you're downtown and want a meal that feels special (without the Strip chaos... which is the opposite of what happens downtown), go to Triple George's. We left happy, impressed, and already talking about coming back... and we still have steak for days!

I see it says not good for kids, is there a particular reason why?

I wouldn't say it's particularly bad for kids. Its a bit pricey and the vibe is definitely more for adults (i.e. white tablecloths, lots of glass, etc.), however, if you have well-behaved kids who can eat off an adult menu, you should be okay.

We had reservations, noted that we were celebrating the kids last day of school, no comments made by the staff to them. No big deal. Sat for 10 minutes before anyone came over to offer water. When we ordered I repeated 3 times, clearly and simple how my daughters meal should be "no cheese, no toppings, no bun, just meat" It came out wrong. I let the guy know who brought it, he took it back to correct it, when it came back out Pedro said "I didn't know you didn't want it on buns". No apology or accountability, ok. It was busy but not packed, other tables seemed to be getting the normal service I'm used to here. Service to our table was slow, my mom was never offered another drink. After our meal I asked Pedro to pack the two slices of pie to go. 15 minutes later he comes back and says "here's your desserts". I asked where the kids sundaes were and he said in the bag, I told him we wanted to eat those there, he said sorry and left. Instead of offering to make the sundaes for us to enjoy we pulled them out of the bag to eat at the table and realized they don't give you ice cream to go.. so we had to ask for that and Pedro still didn't think it would've made sense to have them made properly. He had multiple opportunities to turn our frowns upside down but instead looked irritated to serve us. I'm a local that dines out often and this server really makes me feel it's better to take my money and recommendations elsewhere. Joe would be ashamed.

Enormous disappointment…read more We were so looking forward to our meal here. I'm in my "seafood period" right now and I was excited at the potential I saw in the menu here. It's beautiful. But you no doubt know that from all of the Insta pics. Plan on some extra time to allow all of the wannabe influencers that are staging photo shoots at the entrance, which is famously decked out in fake flowers and pretty vignettes. It's all downhill from there. We were about 10 minutes early for our 5:30 reservation and the hostess told us she would seat us "closer to our reservation time". OK. That is sort of unusual since the restaurant seemed empty but sure. 5:30 came and went. We went back up to the hostess stand... apparently there was some shift change that was holding things up. Again, that's OK. But there was an attitude about it all that wasn't very friendly. We were shown to our table soon and it was a nice curvy booth. We both noticed pretty quickly that the music is too loud. That makes everyone have to talk loudly so you will be surrounded by tables of people yelling at each other. Our server seemed distinctly unimpressed that we didn't order any alcohol. You could see the moment he lost interest in us. When my partner asked about the chicken he sort of menu shamed us. We ordered expensive food so his attitude was unnecessary and he did warm up a bit after that. I had the seafood tower for one. This is $68 a person. When they put it in front of me, I was honestly confused. I couldn't hear a thing our server was saying over the loud music so I missed his descriptions of the items. There was something so bizarre on this seafood tower - something that looked like an oyster shell full of whipped cream. What in the world? Oh it's so much worse than that. To my horror, I tried it and found this is some sort of absolutely foul lemongrass cream or some nonsense like that. It was an enormous amount of it - a full mouthful and at the bottom of the shell was supposedly an oyster. I didn't find it and I wouldn't want to eat an oyster that had been sitting in that offensive pool. Wow. That is so amazingly bad. Nowhere on the menu do they warn you what they are going to do to your oysters. It's truly appalling - so bad in fact that I just had to say something to the waiter. He seemed surprised but I don't buy it. This cannot be popular. Anyway, rant over. The rest of the seafood tower was just OK. The lobster was tiny and not super fresh. The shrimp were sort of "meh" but the hit surprisingly was the scallop ceviche... very nice and bright. Note there is no bread either offered or on the menu. Felt weird. It's needed. For our main course, my partner got the filet mignon and a side lobster tail. His lobster was also of the "wee" variety and a bit tough. Steak was nice though and cooked as requested. I had the Truffle Mushroom with Spaghetti and added the jumbo shrimp. This was also terrible. I thought I liked truffles - but I bit into something in this dish that again I can only describe as foul. And the sauce was just too much and overwhelming. I ate about three bites and just gave up. We spent about $260 before tip. With no drinks. This was a pretty stunningly bad meal.

The Red wine mignonette with the Anchovy chili lime sauce and Habanero sauce combination has to be the perfect trio. (Hidden technique, add a bit of wasabi onto the oyster!) (discovered by my sister) The service was a tad slow at first and other people's orders came out before ours even though we sat first. A few orders were forgotten but I am giving Cin-Cin a 5-star review solely because of Chef V. Chef V approached our table and offered to take our order after noticing our table was the only empty table in the dining room. He greeted us professionally and took our order after we waited for 20 minutes and he did a fantastic job. His hospitality is great and he took accountability for the service being slow, and that is what a restaurant should strive for when it comes to their staff. Ana (Anna)? Also provided fantastic service and kept watch of our table to make sure that we got everything that we needed. I would recommend her as your server if you want a pleasant experience where your server cares about your time at the restaurant. The ambiance is cool! If you ever come dine here, sit at the bar and watch the chefs shuck the oysters! It's definitely relaxing and 100% worth the money. Thank you so much Chef V for recovering our experience. I always talk about how great this place is, and although today ALMOST changed my mind, Chef V saved it. Can't wait to visit again! P.S. : To our server whose name starts with a V, I would highly recommend you work on your level of service and hospitality. 1. When you first greet your table, it's great if you would introduce yourself and ask if it's the customers' first time dining with the restaurant. 2. Please bring your table waters after they order their first appetizers or entrees or ask if the table would like waters to start off. We didn't receive our waters til the end of our meal when we asked. 3. Please ask if your customer is finished with their beverages before you take them away. (I still had beer in my bottle). 4. When your guests order appetizers, I would recommend to ask them if they would also like to order their entrees instead of saying "I'll start you off with your appetizers" or Try to finish our sentences for us when we weren't done ordering. (We had to wait an extra 25 minutes just to have Chef V come take our entree orders for us....) 5. Your prebussing capabilities were great. But I feel like you were trying to rotate your tables too quick when the restaurant wasn't busy and there wasn't a waitlist. If there are no customers waiting to be sat, please allow your guests to enjoy their time dining in by being patient. 6. When I asked you about what type of oysters you had available for happy hour, you told me the quantity instead of the region / type of oyster.
