    Wagyu tri tip

3.75 stars rounded up. Deciding between three & four stars was difficult. One Steakhouse was short staffed when we visited & delays in ordering & receiving dishes drastically prolonged dinner. That, on top of appetizers & sides that didn't make the grade (think: greasy potato gratin, chain-restaurant quality shrimp scampi, & thick-cut bacon that doesn't hold a candle to others we've tried), reduce the likelihood of a return visit. However, One Steakhouse's saving grace are their steaks; heated to 1200°, they develop the most incredible crust. My 6oz Filet Mignon ($58) had the best textural contrast of tender & juicy on the inside with that crisped-up, flavorsome exterior. My bf also enjoyed his order -- Wagyu Tri-Tip, moderately priced at $45 & possessed a distinctive rich wagyu taste, as well as a properly-cooked Lobster Tail for $35. (Sidenote: the tough lobster tail from Golden Steer lives rent-free in his head.) Pros & cons are neck & neck, but ultimately, One Steakhouse came through with steaks & a lobster tail that can compete with our favorite Vegas spots, & for that, they deserve the upgraded rating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not white-table-cloth fancy, but a nice, dimly-lit place for dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And unlike some exorbitant Vegas steakhouses, One leaves you with some gambling money for later.

I forgot the tall drink, but the smaller one is a lychee martini

This was absolutely perfect to go to a steakhouse while staying at the resort. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and all of the sides were perfect. The service was also amazing in the ambience as well. It's not very big so make sure that you make your reservations first before going.

Amazing flavors compliments to the chef.

Mom & Son night out, we wanted something close to the sphere we were going to see the Eagles We were happy customers! We didn't make a reservation so we sat at the nice bar with very nice service! Our tomahawk was tender & flavors were delightful! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Truly enjoyed the piano player, she sang beautiful![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you excellent evening!

We came here for a family dinner out and sat at the bar with our favorite bartender, Johnny! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is always quick and friendly and not too loud, so you can have a conversation with your table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the baked short rib rigatoni and loved it! It has a nice spicy mild tomato sauce and I like that they added a protein to the dish, short rib was a good choice. It was super flavorful! My boyfriend got the ribeye. It was good but needed more salt and was a bit leaner than what we are used to for a ribeye. Thankfully, the servers brought out some salt and pepper without us asking. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals and I heard the crab legs are really good here. We got to try and share the triple chocolate truffle cake and the banana foster. I unfortunately couldn't get a picture of the banana foster dessert because we took a bite before we took photos, but it was delicious and the group favorite, highly recommend it!

Just recently started playing Virgin casinos due to the reward card changing for the better...they gave me a 25 dollar food credit with our stay and since we have tried almost all the restaurants, we decided to give this a whirl. Not really feeling steak, we browsed the menu and found some items to our liking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is very pretty inside, but still a little close to the casino.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were the only ones in there at 5pm so it seemed like a private dining experience...more patrons came in around 6pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We looked at the wine menu and picked out a bottle of Sauvignon blanc. It was good and matched our choices well. I got the scallops and hub got the Short rib pasta. He had looked at pictures online, and thought this was smaller, but they turned it into an entree now and it was quite big. We also got a side of gnocchi with peppercorn sauce. The scallops were amazing..I wish they had not put the bacon there...it did not need it, and the cauliflower purée they mentioned and hoped for was barely there. Hub liked his pasta a lot...just very big. The gnocchi was good too. I might be back to try a steak when in the mood...like I said...very pretty restaurant. Service was amazing as well.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]One Steakhouse offers a polished, intimate setting and solid service, but overall it didn't quite live up to the hype--especially compared to other steakhouses around the Strip.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My steak (pictured) was nicely presented and cooked well, but the flavors didn't really stand out. While everything was executed properly, nothing felt especially memorable or unique, and the dish didn't quite justify the price point when you compare it to top-tier Vegas steakhouses nearby. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was professional and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant for a quieter night out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cocktails were decent, though again, nothing that really wowed. Overall, it is perfectly fine if you're staying nearby or want a low-key steakhouse experience, but with so many exceptional options in Las Vegas, this wouldn't be my first choice. Solid, just not standout.

I would bet I eat here at least 3 times during SEMA. This place is always great. The food is fantastic. What we always do is order our mains and the a bunch of different sides. Never had anything bad at all. The cheesecake for desert is a win. The servers are amazing. Very attentive and always have great suggestions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating and all that is great there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very welcoming feeling as you come in and sit down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Usually not a fan of anything at the virgin hotels so we were EXTREMELY shocked after eating dinner there 1. Service was AMAZING 2. Ambiance was very nice, well kept, & not overly crowded 3. Food was SURPRISINGLY FANTASTIC Best poke or tuna I've had on the strip!! Hands down!! That one bite prepared me for what was in store the rest of the night. Pork belly with the apples paired well, wasn't overly oily and was a great app. We weren't a huge fan or the fried rock shrimp, but the calamari was good. Loved the presentation on both! Mushrooms & fish were ok. The gnocchi + salad was great Will definitely be back

Food was great! came to spend money(: :) our waiter "Bo" was horrible and condescending and for that reason I'll never step foot in here again ....

One of the options when you order the tremendous and tantilizing $68 Rib Eye is they offer to bring it to you sliced

Classy restuarant in my FAVORITE HOTEL, The VIRGIN LAS VEGAS. Great atmosphere and STEAKS!! Top of the Line Service, especially at the bar from Professional Bartender John aka "JOD." It's nice to eat a great meal and feel VALUED AS A CUSTOMER. Tell John, "Bobby Sent You." HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Some restaurants have an artificial, pretentious vibe. They did a good job of providing a nice atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was pretty good, the staff who brought out the food were nice. Server was poor. I'm not sure why. I don't do or say anything to cause problems. The server wasn't so nice, unfriendly. Gave much better, personable care to the other guests. Ended my meal with the check dropped off at my table half way through my dessert (a first in over 100 meals in Las Vegas), processed the payment and brought back the card/receipt without saying anything at all. I didn't enjoy my experience. I don't understand.

After searching all over Vegas for a steakhouse for my birthday dinner I came across One Steakhouse and I want to say they did not disappoint! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and vibes were BEAUTIFUL![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great! The food and drinks were delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very lowkey not too upscale and it wasn't packed at all for it to be 830pm on a Sunday but that was something that I loved the most![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One is conveniently located in the Virgin hotel which made our decision to try this restaurant out a no brainer. The decor, pianist and colorful glass structures, dangling from the ceiling, immediately caught my eye upon entering. The hostess was prompt in her greeting and seating us which was appreciated. After being seated, the waiter brought out the menu and provided us with recommendations. I started with a lychee martini for my drink of choice and we were given complimentary bread rolls. While waiting on our food, we enjoyed listening to the live music and singer. For our entrées, we ordered the Fennel Salmon Crusted Salmon, Brussels Sprouts, and the One Steak Burger. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The lobster butter on the salmon was chef's kiss! I mean.. I'm still thinking about that entrée very delicious. My significant other's burger was nice in size and full of meat! This is a place you should definitely check out. The bar was packed and everyone was enjoying themselves. Tables were filled with guests enjoying good food and great company. Experience it for yourself :)

Make your reservation well in advance of your trip because this place is incredibly popular, and for good reason. We started with their famous Tableside Caesar Salad, which was such a fun old-school Vegas experience and absolutely delicious. For our entrées, we ordered the Prime Rib of Beef and Eggplant Parmesan, along with the Creamed Spinach. Everything we had was fantastic. The prime rib was tender and flavorful, the eggplant Parmesan was delicious, and the creamed spinach was the perfect classic steakhouse side. What makes Golden Steer even more special is its history. Open since 1958, it is Las Vegas' oldest steakhouse, and stepping inside feels like stepping back into old Vegas. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis Presley and other Vegas legends have dined here, and you'll see the restaurant's signature red leather booths named after some of its famous guests. Between the old-school atmosphere, tableside service, incredible food and Vegas history, this isn't just dinner--it's part of the Las Vegas experience. If you've never been, I highly recommend adding Golden Steer to your Vegas itinerary. Just don't wait until the last minute to make that reservation! They're also famous for their tableside Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubilee, which are flambéed right at the table.

His level of professionalism, attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendliness made our dining experience unforgettable. Thank you so much for serving us Brian! When it comes to steakhouses in Vegas, the competition is quite fierce due to the options. However, Bavette's Steakhouse is the most highly recommended, as determined through my research (such as on Reddit), so I had decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located inside Park MGM. Upon walking in, I felt like I was transported to a much more cozy, private restaurant. The interior decor is beautiful. We had requested a booth was seated within 15 minutes- in a very spacious booth might I say. The menu was a lot to take in, not because of too many options but because we had wanted to order everything. Thanks to Brian, he was able to help us narrow down our choices for the starters and sides. He understood every dish and what is the most popular. We received our food in a timely manner and it was so delicious! We were even provided the finishing salt mix for our steaks, which I really appreciate as most places would just give you a salt/pepper shaker. The service provided here, by Brian and the rest of the staff, are superb. We ordered the sizzling shrimp scampi, smoked salmon caesar, traditional filet mignon, classic ribeye - Chicago cut, button mushrooms and buttery mashed potatoes. Everything was beautifully cooked and not a single negative I can think of. Unfortunately, I do not live in Vegas so I cannot become a regular here. However, I will definitely come back to this restaurant again every time I do visit!

This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.

We did not originally plan on having a big meal or making a special visit. We simply wanted to sit somewhere nice, have a glass of champagne, and enjoy a quiet moment together. But once we stepped inside Smith & Wollensky, everything felt much better than expected. Sometimes the best dining experiences are the ones you do not plan too much. This was definitely one of those pleasant surprises. The atmosphere was beautiful. It had that classic American steakhouse feeling with warm lighting, sparkling glassware, and an elegant but comfortable setting. It felt upscale without being too formal, and it was the perfect place to sit with my mom and enjoy a relaxed conversation. We ordered champagne by the glass, and it was excellent. Sometimes champagne by the glass can feel a little flat or not cold enough, but this one was served very cold and the bubbles were still lively and fresh. The first sip was crisp, refreshing, and immediately made the moment feel special. My mom and I both really enjoyed it. The burrata cheese was absolutely delicious. It was soft, creamy, and fresh, with a rich but delicate flavor. When I cut into it, the texture was beautifully smooth, and the creaminess paired so well with everything else on the plate. I especially loved the fruit pairing. The brûléed orange and charred grapefruit added a bright, slightly sweet, and lightly bitter flavor that balanced the creamy burrata perfectly. The basil added freshness and brought the whole dish together. The ham served with the burrata was also excellent. Sometimes prosciutto or cured ham can be too salty and overpower the dish, but this one was not too salty at all. It had a nutty, savory flavor that went beautifully with the burrata. The creamy cheese, refreshing fruit, fresh basil, and savory ham were very well balanced. My favorite bite was with a little burrata on the crostini, some fruit, and a piece of the ham together. The crispy bread, creamy cheese, bright fruit, and savory ham all worked perfectly in one bite. We only came in for a glass of champagne, but this starter made the visit feel much more special. The service was also comfortable and professional. The staff was attentive without being overwhelming, and the pace felt relaxed. That kind of service makes a big difference, especially when you want to enjoy a nice moment without feeling rushed. This visit became a sweet memory with my mom. A cold glass of champagne with lively bubbles, delicious burrata, and ham that was savory but not too salty made the whole experience feel elegant and enjoyable. Sometimes a simple, unplanned stop turns into one of the best parts of the day. I would definitely come back again next time I am in the area. If you enjoy burrata cheese, I highly recommend this dish. We came in without high expectations, but left very impressed and very happy.
