We had a great experience with Chill Heating and Cooling. First off, I had a total of four…read moredifferent companies give me a quote to replace our existing Furnace & A/C units. Chill was the second to arrive and give us an estimate. At first glance when comparing the numbers they gave me to that of the first company, they seemed way off and too cheap to be real. After getting more quotes, Chill remained the lowest price; however, the cost for some of the other companies came in somewhat close. Upon closer review of the contracts, the type of units offered by Chill were much better. A clear difference and made the price look even better! So we signed up and set our appointment up for the next week. We had to move the date since we felt the timing was terrible (expecting 90° weather when the following week was going to be 60°). They moved the appt with ease, even setting it for the following Monday -- on Memorial Day! This was something they offered and I jumped on it, since I was planning to work from home anyway that day. The day of the install went as expected. No issues arose; although, for the guys in the attic I think they would say they had to make some unplanned adjustments -- no complaints to myself or family. All three workers were extremely kind and respectful. They arrived at 9:20 AM and were out before 6:30 PM. Before starting work, they laid down tarps along the hallway (where the entrance to the attic is). They placed all of the old furnace/AC equipment out in front of the house, but cleaned it all up and packed it into their vehicles. They swept up most all of the leftover debris that fell from the attic space and gathered all of their tools. Upon exiting, one of the installers walked me through how to setup the Google Nest Thermostat. He was very patient and waited to ensure the system was fully functional before leaving (used a thermostat gun to read the temperature on one of the vents).

DBA Same day HVAC services, paid one visit to my home to fix my furnace, which he described as plugging in the unit and turning on the gas, which was confirmed by the tech I haired that no one opened the unit to trouble shoot anything. On multiple occasions the technician called me stating "you just want a new furnace right"? I told him well yes if my current furnace could not be fixed. He then asked my wife the same thing before ever even looking at the furnace. Once he looked at the furnace he said he would fix it temporarily but get me the quote for the new unit. I was originally told $5246 then when I called the company the owner/GM told me oh you wanted us to run it through your insurance? Well I'll let them know we went out twice so they understand it needs replacement. I was confused at first so I was finally able to get a hold of a friend to come look at it that does HVAC and he said this unit is very clean internally and it's a capacitor and a small clog in the vacuum pump. It ended up being a $250 fix and told me I shouldn't have an issue with it for 5-7 yrs. I then receive an amended quote letting me know the replacement would be $3700. He checked all operations of the furnace and general maintenance; the components; amp draws and electrical. Jesus was very thorough and did several tests on the heater; replaced the filter and checked the thermostat. He was so professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything to me. I was completely confident with the job he did. B A Morrison did the original installation of the heating system in 2006, and also installed a new thermostat in 2022.
