Very friendly guy but when I said low taper and showed him the photos he kinda ignored them and looked at me and said "low taper good" and proceeded to cut my hair disregarding what I wanted and really only cut my hair in his own style and his own way. And it really was a bummer because I was tryna feel fresh and confident for lunar new years but I guess not :( read more

This is the second time Phuong has decided to multitask during my appointment slot. This time he's double booked and has 3 other clients at the same time. I get that you want to make money but customer service is the worst I've had. He does a decent haircut but he won't focus on your and will make mistakes due to his focus being on 3 different clients at the same time. If you value your haircut quality, I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

"The worst haircut I've ever had. The barber named "Phoung" didn't listen to what I wanted, rushed through the job, and left me with an uneven and sloppy cut. Never coming back." "Don't know anything customer service" I can't give zero star or else I would have. read more

Ladies forewarning this is a barber shop. Despite the pictures shown they very clearly do not have cater to women's hair services (there are only 2 services offered for women). No hair products, no blow out (which is standard with a color service), no color protector on the hairline. Overall place is dirty and disorganized. Giving 2 stars because they seemed to have a lot of regular male clients coming in while I was there, so this is more of a warning for females. read more

I've been coming to Phuong for a few years. He is consistently friendly and welcoming and always provides exactly the haircut I'm looking for. I love that he gets to know his customers and remembers details about them. He offers ideas for hairstyles without pushing services at all, which is what a good hairstylist should do. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great and reliable stylist! read more

Phuong is one of the best barbers/hairstylists I've been to in awhile. He does it very efficiently which is super mindful for my time if I am busy running errands where I can stop by super quickly and know that he'll do a fantastic job in taking care of my hair. The quality of the fade is superb in the time he does it in. He also consults with what he thinks is best for my head shape and it shows from his 13+ years of experience. Outside of the cut, he is personable in getting to know me and his positive mindset makes me always feel welcomed whenever I arrive. Would highly recommend! read more

The person cutting my hair took a walk in while she was cutting my hair so I should have gotten 50% off. I asked for a trim and was very adamant that it was only about an inch off. I freaked when I saw 3-4 inch peices come off. They didn't part my hair while cutting it so it was so uneven. I usually feel bad writing bad reviews but the whole reason I went here is cuz it says 5 stars, so just wanna warn some of you it is def not 5 star service all the timmee. Also the hair brush smelled like cigarettes. Could have just been a bad day for them, but consider this if you're looking for an even haircut and warm water when your hair is washed. read more

5 stars every single visit for me. I've been coming here for about 5 to 6 years now and as a former stylist, THIS IS THE PLACE to come and get your hair done. There's not many salons that can cater to all services like TRND. Also, Phoung and Tina are the best. They always take great care of me. How can you not like a place where they always make you feel comfortable and welcome. I'll be back soon! read more

I had my first appointment with Phuong this afternoon and I am amazed! I haven't been to salon for the last two years but my son is thrilled with Phuong. I decided to visit and he was graciously able to see me the same day. First, this is an immaculate and beautifully run salon. Everyone is so polite and cheerful. I felt welcome and comfortable immediately. I had a lovely relaxing shampoo and condition. Then, a comfortable and relaxing haircut. I couldn't be more pleased with this whole experience. This is my new salon and my hair looks amazing! Thank you, Phuong. I am delighted! Highly recommend! read more

David has always been blessing me up with fire haircuts. The place is really clean and is just always filled with so many friendly people. They even taught me how I should style my hair which is really rarely seen. This is the place for a haircut. read more

I've been seeing Phuong and his wife at TRND for more than a year and it's the best I've felt about my hair in a long time. I get all over color and highlights, and Phuong was able to capture the cool shade I've been wanting but wasn't able to achieve at other salons. The price is affordable and I'm always greeted warmly and treated well. I also appreciate how easy it is to schedule online and I can usually get an appointment fairly quickly which is a relief when those grays are starting to show. Highly recommend. read more

I would highly recommend TRND salon. Phuong is phenomenal and is able to provide recommendations based on your hair texture and face structure. He goes above and beyond and truly cares about his clients. He gave me a hair curling tutorial and was able to support me in a pinch with my hair coloring needs. The salon is clean and professional. The workers are all very helpful and kind. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair cut and the color he recommended. Don't wait , book your appointment! read more

Excellent service and haircut by Roy. Definitely recommend for anyone who look for nice and clean cut

TRND salon is the best! Friendly and professional staff! The owner Phuong is great at cutting men's hair, he has been cutting hair for many years and has a good eye for detail. I also get my haircut from Richard. Richard is a super chill guy who is good at listening to your haircut requests. Totally recommend both and it looks like the other barbers they have there do a great job as well. read more

Great salon, I always come here for my cuts with Richard. Great service, convenient location, clean and professional vibe.

Phuong's been giving me fresh haircuts for several years. He's super attentive, consistent, and is a natural. Tell him what you want and he'll take care of you. If you don't know what you want, it's cool, he'll provide some excellent suggestions to give you the best hairstyle possible that suits your facial features. He's also very social and amiable and can carry on good conversations for a long time. He also has a great memory and can continue the conversation the next time you visit as well if you run out of time. His new location comes equipped with the best hair equipment, modern decor and style, excellent upbeat music, and the same great haircut. You can also book appointments too, so you don't have to sit and wait too long. I leave TRND Salon with a clean and fresh fade, feeling happier, and boosted self-esteem every time. He's one of the best in the area! read more

Phuong is amazing! I first went to him on a whim and needed a haircut in a hurry in 2012. He was able to fit me into his already booked schedule without feeling rushed. I returned next month and discussed that I wanted a change in style but had no clue on what. He made some suggestions and went with one. I got so many compliments and I have been going back ever since. Phuong opened his own shop in 2020. It is definitely a relaxing atmosphere. Since then, I have been able to try out other barbers as well. Richard does an amazing job. If you are looking for a professional and experienced person, look no further. TRND offers a wide range of services. Phuong takes pride in his work and salon. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. The owner is Rude and unprofessional. Please do yourself a favor and find a better place to get service done like I wish I would've done. (Clear example by his response - I actually PAID for poor service but that just shows how unprofessional this guy really is. ) Today I went in to have my hair color corrected because Phuong dyed it black even though I asked for brown back in October, I paid even though I wasn't happy with the color. Going back today, he was rude and unprofessional by booking my appointment knowing he had no intention of correcting his mistake which was fine until he later began threatening me by calling and texting me saying I owed him money and to take my reviews down. I don't usually write reviews but seriously can't believe how poor the customer service is at this salon and again how unprofessional the owner is. read more

i didnt even want to leave a review tbh but this is kind of ridiculous, wanted to prepare for a rave, and now i gotta wear a hat/beanie when i go. its clear as day what went wrong before picture, after picture, and reference picture is going to be shown. its like he just did his own thing instead of listening because i also said dont cut it short i still want it long but i couldnt tell because he wet my hair so i wasnt sure about how much he was cutting. read more

Phuong Doan is the best! Would highly recommend his service- highly attentive and personable.

I first found this place via Yelp during COVID. I was desperate for a haircut when they opened up hair salons and I wanted to go somewhere with quality but also reasonable prices. I am always reluctant to try new hairdressers for fear of them not getting it right and hair is important, right? Today was my second time going here. The owner Phuong was my hairstylist and really took his time. He spent 50 minutes on my haircut which included shampoo, conditioner, haircut, styling. I have very flat hair and he miraculously made my hair have more volume. He asked if I wanted him to curl/style my hair of course I said yes! Results were amazing. This place is extremely clean and you can tell that he really takes pride in his work and wants to see his clients happy. Making appts is really easy and I booked via Yelp. Also Yelp check in as of now, you get $5 off. I will be back! Thanks Phuong! read more

Where do I start? Phuong and Hiywot are one of the highlights of my life right now (Pun intended). I keep coming back to this location, because I'm warmly welcomed, remembered, and treated so respectfully. I walked in one day randomly after calling to see if they had available time to dye my hair with a color I brought in. They took one look at the previous damage from another hairdresser, and went to work. Phuong did a lovely color for my first time (emerald green), and I was so so happy with how kind and friendly he was. All the stylists here wear masks, and are super personable. I've been going back ever since! Hiywot has done my color three times now, and I'm so in love with her positive nature! Shes willing to talk out options on what I want, and even suggested a different brand that I love more now. Shes patient, gentle, and gets the job done with expertise. Never makes me feel like I'm just someone on a roster. Cuts, color, and blowouts are so reasonably priced for the time taken on your hair. Quality products, head massages, and fun conversation make it my monthly get away that I am happy to splurge on. I definately reccomend these guys for mens cuts too! My husband loved his cut last time, and they have tons of repeat customers. Always a great sign. Ph read more
