He suggested a strawberry drink for me (I wish I remembered the exact name!) and it was PERFECT. Exactly what I was in the mood for. We also ordered the queso fundido, which was amazing and tried a mix of tacos, shrimp, steak, and pulled pork, and every single one hit. No misses. Service really makes a difference, and Jacob went above and beyond. If you come here, definitely ask for him, he's here Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. We'll absolutely be back.

The restaurant has a fun and vibrant vibe. The queso fundido is always a hit with chips that are crisp and salty goodness. The hot honey plantains are yummy! The umami steak taco, the cheeseburger taco and volcano shrimp taco are must tries. The mid: I have been there when they were slammed and have been there between lunch and dinner when they were on the slower side. The food seems to take a long time no matter how busy they are. When they are slammed, I absolutely understand why it might take a little longer to get a couple tacos and a salad however, when I was here last week, it was after the lunch rush and it took much longer then expected. The manager came over to apologize and comped our queso and chips due to the delay. When our tacos came out, they looked amazing but 3 of us had ordered the grouper taco and asked for no hot takis, yet all 3 came out with takis. Also, the hot honey chicken taco was over fried and had an almost burnt taste. As long as the food initially took, we weren't going to send anything back so we scraped the takis off the fish tacos and didn't finish the chicken taco. Will I go back? Absolutely. It's a fun place and there are plenty of items that I can choose from to make a nice meal. It just might not be in regular rotation for me.

They could not show us any proof of this cancellation and upon further investigation we discovered that the hostess had typed in the phone number wrong and the system cancelled our names from the waitlist (highlighting his lie that he confidently told us that we had cancelled our reservation and that they couldn't see the waitlist communication after it was sent). Due to the error of their end we asked for him to streamline our names on the waitlist and he became combative and told us that he was not comfortable serving us and asked us to leave. We spoke to the manager and they reiterated that they believe we had cancelled our reservation despite having proof that the hostess was the issue. Eventually after speaking to the general manager on duty he was able to magically find multiple open spots for us at the bar and was completely comfortable with serving us despite the allegations made by the hostess. And then after all that waiting, the bartenders were rude, asked us if we were the people causing all those problems at the front, and drinks were awful. Definitely not worth your time. Everyone is rude and you will feel demeaned just for trying to get access to their "exclusive" speakeasy.
