Tropical Smoothie has become my new lunch spot. I give 5 stars today because prices here are excellent and affordable. I usually pack my lunch because eating out is so very expensive. But tropical smoothie got my back! I just had a nice Hawaiian flatbread, SunChips and a water for a little under $12 bucks. Staff is so nice too! The place is a vibe. Horrible! Go to a different location. The food was stale and discolored. The portions were not even half the size they usually are at other locations. The place was disgusting! I waited too late yesterday to order lunch for delivery at work but my coworker told me she was hitting this TS at her lunch and did I want her to bring something back. So, I ordered a 3 cheese & chicken quesadilla with a banana as a side. This entree should be renamed to 3 pieces of chicken & barely there cheese. As of matter of fact, the best thing about that lunch was my banana and my 2 stars is for how big and tasty my banana was. The quesadilla was so flat that I likened it to what the kiddy 'dilla would be. The 3 pieces of chicken in 3 quarters of the dilla were fatty, gristle pieces. There clearly wasn't any love or job satisfaction from whomever made my dilla. My coworker asked me how it was and I told her the kiddy quesadilla was a one and done for me. Absolutely worst customer service I've ever experienced. I was told my order would be "fixed" when they messed it up. They said that I would get a refund or replacement. I was also told that someone would call me back five days ago and when they didn't I called them instead. The employee actually hung up on me! Quick visit after a morning walk & it was a somewhat busy location! I ordered and unfortunately it can be hard to hear words clearly with the wearing of masks. Asked for Peanut Paradise but got Paradise something instead. I tried to just go with it, but I didn't like it at all. I have been generally happy when I come here. The staff is young but they are friendly and always make my smoothies right! I love to order ahead of the time on the mobile app and it is always waiting for me when I arrive. It seems when they are busy, they get a little behind but no more than other places when it is peak lunch. Today I experienced a prime example of "service failure". Right after I walked in, the staff out front were calling to their (apparent) boss in the back saying that their system needed to be restarted. We were given notice that it would be 10-15 mins before they'd be able to accept any payments. I was grabbing smoothies to bring back to work, so I didn't mind the wait; plus, I've been in their shoes having the TPS glitch plenty of times. It would've been nice if they offered to make my drink while I waited, but they didn't say anything else and I took a seat. When a new customer walked in, one of the employees confusingly told the customer that she couldn't take his order because the system was down. She seemed more annoyed than apologetic. Soon after, two other customers walked in and formed a line. The same employee looked right at them, then turned away without saying anything. Those two customers were the first to be served when the system came back up. I had been sitting there for at least ten minutes before either of them arrived. But since they were uncomfortably standing there waiting for someone to explain why they weren't getting their orders taken, they were able to become first in line. When I got my turn to order, no apology, no "thank you for your patience", just disingenuous interactions with every employee. Thankfully, I eventually got my three smoothies and they were up to standard. It's unfortunate that I hadn't reviewed this location sooner because I've been here many times, with no negative experiences to recall. Maybe when I'm craving a smoothie again I will come back, because it's convenient. But I was disappointed with my visit today. read more

Placed an order online for pickup and got to the store 15 minutes after placing it and had to wait another 15 minutes for 2 smoothies. You can't cancel the order on the app, you have to call customer support and on Sundays they aren't open. Best to just stay away from this location. read more

Terrible customer service! Had to come back twice due to our order being made incorrectly. The first time, I noticed we had chips instead of bananas. The girl said she had just thrown something in. The second time I was frustrated both at the restaurant for the mistake and myself for not catching the mistake sooner. The manager had the girl remake my daughter's kid turkey wrap sandwich that had incorrectly been wrung up as an adult sandwich. For the inconvenience of having to come back twice, I asked why she still had to charge me for the sandwich. She said the manager told her to do it that way. Seriously?! I asked if I could get a refund for one of the smoothies and she said they could remake it. I was in a rush and didn't have time to wait another 10 mins. so I told her I would just prefer the refund. She had to call someone because she didn't know how to give a refund. Couldn't get a hold of them so she tried to call someone else.
