We love this place. The food is fantastic and safe for our daughter with celiac disease. We go at least once every time we're in Michigan.

I've gone here since it opened as Renee's, there was a little problem with the ownership change for a bit and the food wasn't prepared properly and undercooked sometimes. But... I believe that has all changed, I go for lunch sometimes and never had a bad experience. I've eaten here plenty of times over the past year for dinner and it's just as delicious as it's ever been. I like the girl and guy that cooks plus helping customers. I know it's way different from before, but everything is since Covid. I will always be a loyal customer. I'm looking forward to the new one opening next to Rumis Passion ( since it's the same owners) since I grew up in Northville and some of my family is still there. read more

I used to go when it had the other name. I left a tip when I paid and wish I didn't. We sat at the table and he did not give us plates. The pizza French fries had pork on them when we asked for no pepperoni. The pizza was raw and had so much sauce. I am very disappointed. We had to get our own plates and then a to go box. Holy smokes. Somehow managed to order gluten free pizza from here only to realize the ENTIRE MENU is gluten and nut free when they left a business card attached to the receipt. The pizza was wonderful! The chicken wings are legit. I'd suggest getting two sides of your sauce of choice because the wings come naked. The delivery person was super sweet. OMG! This place has all menu options in gf, that's awesome. I am super excited for our New York think crust 12" veggie lovers pizza. We added artichoke, roasted garlic and black olives and ordered a small fatoosh salad too. My eyes lit up when I saw and heard that the elephant ears and cheese bread is also gf, never heard such wonderful words from any other restaurant before. I am used to here are the two gf options you can pick from. The rice flour and navy bean flour for the crust was delicious, soft and yummy to the last bite. I don't usually eat the gf crusts because they tend to be so hard, but our NY style pizza crust was perfectly cooked and delicious. The topping combo was perfect and everything was fresh. We are excited to check out more of the gf apps and desserts next time. I am so in love with this place and it's the only place that makes me happy to be gf, for once. The fatoosh small salad was enough to feed 3 people as a side salad. The prices here are reasonable for the good quality of food and tasty goodness. I love this awesome concept and their execution is impressive as ever. Well done Renee's!! I ordered a large margarita, veggie lover, pepperoni, Hawaiian with chicken and a large cheese flat bread for a party for a poker party and went back and got the 12" deep dish veggie lover today and scarfed down the flatbread in no time flat. The Fatoosh dressing could use a bit of work, was a bit too heavy on the vinegar this last time and needs some sumac to be a fatoosh to me. We were so disappointed in our experience but I think part of that was because we chose vegan cheese that was clumped together in blobs on the pizza. There was a large portion uncovered allowing us to taste the crust, which isn't very tasty. Neither of my kids would finish their first piece. I'm sure if you have real cheese and meat toppings their flavors cover the crust and make for a pleasing experience. The staff was very friendly. read more

An excellent pizza place. I had the deep dish pizza and I was thrilled with the flavor and the crust. Also, I ordered the Greek salad and bread sticks. All of which were fresh and tasted amazing. The place is on the smaller size building wise, don't let that deter you from going there. They have a couple of tv's which is nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. My favorite thing in this world to eat is pizza! And I always look for something different in a pizzeria. Renee's gourmet not only focus is on making great pizza but focuses on people that have a food allergy. They're gluten-free and not free and yes they do have vegan cheese. I know a lot of people that love pizza but they can't eat it because of a gluten allergy and I have a lot of friends that are vegan and they can't eat pizza sometimes because most pizzerias do not offer these items. I've tried some other places with gluten-free and not free products and I have to say they do not taste that good. There's something about that crust at Renee's gourmet that makes this pizza is so delicious that it doesn't even taste gluten-free it taste like regular crust on the pizza. The quality of ingredients tasted amazing. No cutting corners at this restaurant! Owner and staff are amazing people! Probably one of the nicest people I've met in a while. Owner Has a great vision of the future of this restaurant! Staff is amazing and very knowledgeable in their product. They helped out a lot with a lot of questions that I had. We order from here because we have a child with a dairy allergy and they are one of the few places that have non dairy cheese options. We are not gluten free but understand that to be truly gluten free you can't do both kinds of crust so we deal. The crust really isn't bad for GF. Is it as good as regular crust? Definitely not. But still not bad. We've tried some of the specialty pizzas like the Mac and cheese pizza and didn't like it so we stick to the more typical pizza toppings and have better luck with those. read more

I ordered a thin crust pizza, chicken fingers, and bread sticks. I have not eaten there in about three years and it wasn't a good as I remember. I swear the dough recipe is different because it tasted like an Udi's pizza crust. Not bad but not what I remember. The chicken strips were incredibly chewy. There were three of us and we only ate one and half of the chicken strips. Now to be fair I have had that issue with the chicken strips before, so it was my fault for ordering them again. I saw an email come thru with a Groupon and wondered why I hadn't heard of this place yet. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a try since it wasn't too far from the house and the Groupon deal was expiring the next day. I took a look at the menu and saw they had pizzas calzones etc but no where did it list gluten free world cost extra. Confused I called asking if they only had gluten free pizza or what the deal was. The calzone was amazing!!! The taste was great the sauce was perfect and there was not too much and it came with a side which was great. I took half home for lunch the next day. The cinnamon sticks were to DIE for!!! They weren't your typical flat ones you'd find everywhere else. Nope these were the real deal. I like that they don't drizzle the icing on for you; it comes on the side. Other places tend to go overboard. Not here! Great job!!! I took these home too!! The owner came and talked to me as well. Very nice guy. Turns out they've only been open for 3 1/2 weeks; no wonder I've never heard of them. I think they will be just fine. My wife recently started a gluten-free diet so we decided to try this place. I had a gooey, tasty veggie calzone and my wife had a pepperoni, olive and artichoke heart pizza. The pizza crust was crispy, the way my wife likes it. The staff here is VERY nice. My wife likes a well-done pizza and the chef brought the pie out, let my wife inspect the top and bottom of it and put it back into the oven upon my wife's request. I will say that, for a gluten guy like me, the dough takes a little getting used to. However, I could tell that care went into it and that counts for a lot. Gluten free pizza that tastes great! I stumbled on Renee's while visiting the Troy Plaza where this pizzeria is located. We were immediately greeted and seated. The place had only two other patrons who were dining in. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and it took about 20 minutes to make. It was served hot and the crust was nice and crispy. Despite the fact that it was "healthy", the taste was pretty good! We paid about $12 bucks for the entire pizza and drinks. If I lived closer to the area, I would probably visit more frequently. read more

So my boyfriend and I just got A large pie. We got half veggie lovers and half Hawaiian. My boyfriend, Matt, got diagnosed with celiac disease in February and hasn't had pizza since so it is really nice to find a gluten free pizzeria! Neither of us have ever had gluten free pizza before but this pizza was GREAT! You'd never know that the dough didn't have gluten in it! Both the veggie lovers and the Hawaiian pizza had fresh toppings and were very tasty. The staff seems friendly and the atmosphere is bright and open. The restaurant was clean. This place is so amazing for everyone who struggles to find options at normal restaurants (both vegans and GF humans). We got a deep dish vegan veggie pizza, the vegan veggie calzone, and the cinnamon sticks. The vegan cheese is unlike any I've ever had and it's absolutely AMAZING. I don't know if they buy it or make it their own, but they're very generous with the amount of vegan cheese unlike other restaurants. The crust isn't like your standard wheat gluten pizza crust (which is expected), however it was still very good. I highly recommend trying the calzone as I enjoyed that more than the pizza. Also staff was so kind and accommodating, which always is a huge bonus for me. Overall, would definitely give this place a try regardless of if you have any dietary restrictions or not! read more

We used to love Renee's! My husband craved it!! I'm not sure what happened, but the last two times we ordered from them it was not good. The last time they completely messed up our order. Then last night we ordered and my husband's favorite bbq chicken pizza had almost no bbq sauce and barely any chicken. My margarita pizza was like eating cardboard. I purchased their groupon and decided to give them a shot. Really tasty gluten free foods. Also love the fact that they are also nut free. I had the meat calzone and it was delicious and you would never know it was gluten free. Quick and friendly service as well. On my second visit I got a small pizza with mushrooms and banana peppers it was delicious and you'd never know it was gluten free! For someone with a Gluten allergy the dream to eat New York Style pizza has finally come true!! The crust was great, crispy, cooked well & of course thin! It didn't even taste GF!! We also ordered with vegan cheese and it was a very good tasting cheese since we have a dairy allergy in the family as well! I was indeed impressed with the food!! As per service, I was disappointed. We were barely waited on. All of our food and even water came out late, & the waitress kept apologizing but she attended to the four families/table neighboring us consistently. We were not even once asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything but rather had to keep requesting and calling the waiter. Our appetizer of fries came after we finished our pizza, which we saw sit in the window for 10 minutes while she walked back and forth with no rush to ask every table if they were okay except us, I hate to say this, but the difference between me & & my husband who went for our anniversary dinner here, we were brown and I was wearing a scarf and the other 4 tables were not. We felt they were biased. We left a note on the back of the bill stating that food was awesome but that we were disappointed with the service. When we mentioned to the manager about our appetizer being late she took it off the bill. Although manager was good, the waitress looked annoyed that she had to serve us. After my husband put up a review on google, they apologized and invited us to go back & we did. The same waitress was there & she barely even greeted us. Simply looked annoyed that we were back. This time we ordered for pick up. As much as I am disappointed with their service they are the only place I know that has good gluten free and dairy free pizza & calzones. I will go back here for the food, but only as pick up, I will not dine in and get treated like I'm somehow less worthy of being waited on because of my outlook even though I am a paying customer. Came here on a Friday night with my sisters and the place was PACKED. Both the seating area and bar were packed, people were also smushed together in the back waiting for carryout. We waited anyways, and the pizza and bread were well worth it. The reviews of this place definitely speak the truth. We ordered cheese bread and an antipasto salad to start. The bread was extremely hard to stop eating and the salad wasn't too bad, typical standard head lettuce with stuff on top. The pizzaz was awesome, the crust is awesome. We will be back. read more

Absolutely the most awesome place I haven been to recently! My boyfriend recently just went into gluten free mode and it really gives me a headache on going out to eat with him,but the other day when I browse through Yelp I found this place which offers a gluten free menu! Surprised enough already by the fact they offer gluten free food and we get even more impressed when we got greeted by the friendly staff when we first walk in ,and also their whole menu is gluten free!!! We got their delicious meat lovers pizza and spaghetti with meat sauce. They both were so good by the time I remembered to take a picture, they already look not so pretty any more, my apologies. This is definitely a very awesome place to come even if you are not gluten free, it still will make your stomach feels so much better.(trust me) we would definitely return again to try more of their dishes! read more

One of the employees at this restaurant is costing this place. THREE times I've called and she picked up and made up different times that they stop delivering. When I called at 715pm she said they stopped at 7pm, when I called at 6:50 she said they stopped at 6:45 pm (even though it was the same day of the week), etc. One time I ordered through a delivery app and called to ask to throw some chili flake packets in. She said they already picked up my delivery, that was a lie. You can see on your phone when your order is picked up. This happened today Wednesday August 6 at around 515-545pm. Also I had to call twice cause she hung up the first time. I hate to see a good business suffer cause the menu is good and I love gluten free. read more

Best ever any pizza! The only change is the cupcakes made by a different bakery will be more like sawdust muffins with a dry sawdust texture and too sweet.
