Eh, I have mixed feelings about this place. Tasty? Yes. Atmosphere? Lovely. Staff? Pleasant. Food? Tasty, but small portions & overpriced for Mexican-inspired dishes that tout pretentiousness. Presentation is lovely for what that's worth....but is it *really* worth it? I feel like I overpay every time I come here. And don't get me started on the parking lot situation, I almost got clipped by an entitled local in her Range Rover that didn't have the patience to wait for me to shimmy out of my canned-sardine spot. First, We called on a Tuesday for Saturday night reservations and they were already booked so we couldn't get a table until 8pm, so definitely call way in advance! They have valet parking which I'm not sure if that's only for the busy weekends or all the time, but be sure to bring some singles for a tip! The outside looks like a random house but the inside decor is trendy, modern, and cool. To eat we had the tortilla soup, which was tasty but the portion was a tad small. They also had a Mexican street corn appetizer special which was AMAZING! I like how you can get it on or off the cob, which is something I've never been offered at a restaurant. For our entrees we got a burrito, the burger, and machos tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meals. For mine I thought the pork was the best (and I'm not a pork girl), the beef was second best and sadly the chicken came in last. I thought the chicken was very wet in a bad way and bland. this specific dish comes with rice and beans. The beans were just drained and rinsed with no seasoning on them. Next time I will get the tacos a la cart and order a side of rice. Another reason I did not give 5 stars was because the service was SO slow. Our server was half bartender so he wasn't able to be as attentive as he should have been. It was also disappointing to see multiple other servers as hostesses walk by us multiple times and see our table empty and not ask if they could get us the check at least. Another side note- the bathroom was decently clean but had toilet paper on the floor. I would also like to see way more cocktails added to the menu. Overall I'd probably come back. read more

The portions are teeny tiny! My quesadilla wouldn't have even made a 3-year old full. If the folks at TRUCK are reading this - please realize.... you have great food. But you are ruining the experience by decreasing the size of your dishes. The quesadilla... small. The chocolate cake... small. I enjoy the atmosphere in the restaurant. It's very "vibey." Great service. Delicious guacamole. Tacos were delicious. I ordered the pork taco and chorizo taco. My friends ordered the chicken tacos and said they were tasty as well. The food at Truck is excellent and warrants at least another star. It is pricey, but this is Bedford and the ingredients are top notch, so this is not unexpected. While the cavernous barn atmosphere has charm, the acoustics are horrible. When the place is packed it devolves to a dreadful shouting contest. I want to love this place but I just like it. It's a beautiful restaurant and the wait staff is great. The place is extremely loud and it's difficult to hear even someone who is across from you. The food is good. It's not great or going to wow you. I want to love the place but it just doesn't do it for me. It's a great social spot and it has a lot going for it but the food is ok. I want the Food to be great! Desserts were dry and a disappointment (devil dog). The food was good but not worth the price. If you want a trendy spot to be seen or maybe see others, this is your place. If you are a foodie and looking for amazing casual Mexican food, so many better options with a better price point. Best margaritas around! We ALWAYS start with the chips and guacamole. The chips are warm and the guac is scrumptious. These great variety in the tacos, which are delicious. We had dinner at truck last night for my sister in law's birthday. She chose this place, she is new to the area. The food was very good. The enchilaco is delicious but 25 dollars is pricey for a taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. My husband always orders the oyster tacos because he loves them and says they are delicious. My sister in law loved her shrimp and local veggies tacos too. The service was good, the place was very busy and they had a ton of takeout orders too. We like the casual ambience as well as the food. I've been to Truck a good number of times. The food is solid, the margaritas are really good, the desserts are different and delicious. The service continues to go downhill. Everyone is nice, but it's painfully slow. It's obvious they don't have enough people working. I was there a few days ago and when we sat down, the table next to us was asking if their food was coming soon- our waiter said the kitchen was really backed up. We ordered chips and drinks which thankfully didn't take too long, but our waiter didn't come back to take our order for 45 mins. I saw him behind the bar (which was packed) making drinks throughout the night. If you have the demand, which they do, please get enough staff to help out. It's not nice for anyone. read more
