Great margaritas. The food is ok - rather bland. The guac is bland but good and overpriced.

Great spot for great food! Guac and chips, salsa, tortilla soup, brisket tacos, quesadillas - all very tasty, very well made and DELICIOUS!! So far we have had a nectarine margarita, peach margarita and a great ginger margarita!! Very knowledgeable servers and having valet parking at their busiest times is a great perk! my top two restaurants in town! Best veggi guac, fun lively atmosphere, delicious fresh food always and i love the whole wait staff and managers and bartends. it feels like i am home when i come here. its well worth the wait when it gets busy! try their incredible truck light salad and taco with brisket. now that i am a vegetarian again though the simple cheese enchilada is also tasty. i dont know how they do their rice but it is so delicious! farm guac and every dessert is yum yum grande! read more

Planned on meeting two friends for a summer dinner and time to catch up when TRUCK was suggested. Called to make a reservation for 6:30 and told only available at 6:15. Oh the subtleties of reservation time in their book...so we went with it. We arrived from different parts of the county to a parking challenge of a small lot. Seated promptly at a corner table which made it somewhat easier to hear each other. Ordered drinks two different margaritas and a white wine. Margaritas were very tasty. If you want white wine you better like Italian Arberino as there are no other choices.They have an interesting very hip, vegan, glutenfree, farm to table, all the right words, and then some menu with added specials. Had their guacamole as served with house made chips. Felt they should ask how much heat if any we preferred. in the guacamole. I had the salmon burrito which was a special and most generous. My friends enjoyed the shrimp taco and a fish taco each. It is surprising that rice and beans are extra. An exhausting list of bean choices. Even had desert. One coconut macaroon, ice cream and I had the "twinkie" a carrot cake that was alright and fun to eat. If you want great Mexican food head to Port Chester but none the less the food was good. read more

Maybe we should have tried the Tex part of Truck instead of the Mex part. The food is average, the prices are above average, and the wait ... unforgivable. 90 minutes + to wrap a to-go burrito off a phone order. Truck needs a local competitor who gets it right - great food at a reasonable price - to have them pick up their socks. Being the only game in town helps them, not the customer. If you fancy valet parking for a food Truck experience, stop by. read more

I absolutely love this restaurant. Its small and cozy! There is a parking lot outside and they just recently started valet. This restaurant serves Mexican cuisine. The employees are fantastic, so friendly and so knowledgable about the menu. They make great suggestions. For an appetizer I always order the guacamole with chips. MUST HAVE! For my entree I highly recommend their tacos. They support a lot of local farms in the area which is fantastic. They even have their own garden behind the restaurant that you can see through the back window. Its gorgeous! For my entree I get the fried oyster tacos. MUST MUST MUST have! I love their beef tacos as well but the fried oyster is by far the best. You can have a soft or hard shell whichever you prefer. Everything on the menu is delicious! Their drinks are great too. I usually order wine. But my friends have ordered mojitos and so on and they love it! They do have a small bar to the right of the restaurant. The dessert... is..... amazing! I always have to try the special desserts they have for that specific day. The cakes are to die for! The baker is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend to try any of their desserts and you won't be disappointed. Overall experience is a 10/10 and I will definitely be back. read more

I couldn't give Truck 4 stares because it's doesn't represent the true flavors of Mexican food. It's good food but not authentic in flavor, except for the guacamole, which was excellent. Our waitress was very nice but it took her a very long time to make the first contact with our table and she was not 100% accurate with our order. I'll give them another chance because the kitchen is capable of quality food. read more

Talk about ZERO ambience this is the place. When you come through the door kids jumping all over the seats and tables ,it was like parents day at kindergarten. We LOVE truck! Amazing farm to table Mexican - we have been coming here since it first opened. The manager Kate is so friendly and nice along with all the staff including bartender Mauricio who always takes really good care of us and makes a killer margarita. The margarita flavors change seasonally and I have yet to have a flavor I've disliked :) just be careful, they are strong! my favorite taco is the chicken tinga - flavor is amazing however it can be a bit watery if you get it in the lettuce shell. The chicken and cheddar is also amazing, along with the ground beef taco. Their enchiladas are next level - you can add a fried egg which I highly recommend. Farm guac is also amazing with fresh veggies - and last but not least, the flautas are a must when eating here. They also have great desserts - coconut cake (snowball) and the soft serve are both great sweet treats. read more

Most delicious farm-to-table, Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted!! Anything else doesn't measure up.

I have been driving past this place for years and the parking lot is always packed so when a few friends told me they loved Truck I decided to give it shot. The evening started with one of the most bizarre and insulting incidents that I've ever experienced at a restaurant. I pulled into the nearly empty parking lot ( as it was early) and pulled into one of the many empty parking spots neither close nor far from the front door. As my mother and I were getting out of the car a man ran over to us and demanded we get back in the car and move it. I asked why and where and he told me I had to valet it. I didn't want to upset my mother so we both got back in the car and I drove it about twenty feet to the front door where the valet got in and moved it right back into the same spot I had just parked in. It was a very rude and insulting incident. I walked into the dining room which is set up in a strange but somewhat appealing manner. The service was excellent despite the fact that new tables were being sat constantly. The food was another story. I have eaten and cook southwestern style food as well as Tex mex and Mexican food so maybe my standards are high, but everything we ate was awful. The queso was greasy and flavorless. It didn't even come with chips. The enchiladas were more like poorly made quesadillas. The sauces were both bland though the red sauce was not terrible. The salsa or pick de gallo was bland and watery. The chicken was way way way over cooked and the sauce that it was simmered in also lacked any real flavor. This place is very popular so maybe the patrons like it because they don't know how southwestern style food should taste. It is also a very loud joint and filled with screaming kids who ran rampant around the tables. I actually enjoyed that part as it was a welcome distraction from the terrible meal I was forced to eat because I was starving. I wouldn't eat here again for free but if you've never eaten decent southwestern style food, Tex Mex or Mexican food maybe you will like it. read more

I've been here three times, always good food. I have spent a lot of time in Mexico, especially the Baja, and always appreciate modern takes on Mex cuisine which in the USA is too often sloppy Tex-Mex crap. Valet parking is mandatory. Don't just pull up and park. The valets are excellent and will not damage your Benz. Always crowded as there are not many decent restaurants in the vicinity. My only complaint is that they add sugar to their otherwise decent Margaritas. Sugar does not belong in a Margarita. ;) read more

We just moved to Pound Ridge from NYC and have always driven by this place but hadn't checked it out until last weekend. We had a coupon from Welcome Wagon for a free app so figured what the heck. We were blown away by the quality of the food, the speed of service, and the attentiveness of our server. Drinks were tasty, the guac was very fresh, the corn on the cob was phenomenal and the homemade dessert was delicious. Our server was super friendly and took the time to welcome us to the restaurant and the area, explain the menu and offer her recommendations. We're going back again this weekend and will bring all of our friends who come to visit. read more

Truck has become one of my favorite local restaurants. The Mexican salad is fantastic. Fresh romaine, roasted corn, sweet cherry tomatoes with avocados and a light flavorful dressing. I can eat it everyday. The tacos are delivered fast and are very tasty. The wait staff is outstanding. They are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Truck! read more
