Generally speaking the food here is very tasty, which proves that you needn't equate vegetarian and vegan with bland and flavorless. Who knew kale salad could be so delicious? However, the TLT sandwich totally misses the boat. What a silly idea to use strips of overcooked, overprocessed, dry, hard tempeh as a bacon substitute! The toast was hard too, making this sandwich literally painful to eat.I definitely should have gone with the quinoa burger. My friend's pizza was more than adequate. Lucky me, I was able to dine here before their Grand Opening. Never has healthy food seem so divine and classy. To have a great meal with drinks that can stand up to most fa restaurants is hard in this neighborhood. I loved their Wild Caught Albacore Tataki and the Edamame Dumplings were different and delicious. The Grilled fish tacos was a nice change of sea bass as opposed to the usual Mahi. The Chicken Sausage Pizza has a crust of wheat, flax and spelt that was great and light. I was quite surprised by the excellent Farmstead Cabernet Sauvignon by the glass. Better glass of wine that I can ever get at most upper level restaurants. This will be one of the few restaurants we repeat and recommend. read more

The food is delicious, healthy...but you're going to get a portion of food that isn't likely to satisfy, especially not for what it costs. You'll basically pay enough for 2 lunches only to get really half a meal. And this isn't fine dining we're talking...I paid this for what came out as two very little appetizer sized tacos. read more

Dined here for the first time and we really enjoyed our meal. The hummus appetizer is delicious, as were the grain and noodle bowls. They offer a range of vegetarian options, which is great! We come here frequently and love the vibe and the food. Our favorites are Edamame Guacamole, Brussels Sprouts, Grass-fed Tacos and Sustainable Salmon (yum!). I was in your establishment two days ago. Around 7pm. Three of us got the lasagna, mine was cold. But here's my big issue. A woman came in with two pugs barking, yapping, sitting in a booth, and the server even brought them water for the dogs to drink while sitting in the chair. Completely unacceptable of you to allow this INSIDE of your establishment. Outside seating this wouldn't be an issue. It's a restaurant, not a dog store. I understand it's Boca and people are selfish. I have a medical alert dog for a neurological disorder(not a fake emotional support dog). I said to myself I should probably leave him home because there going to be some terribly behaved or aggressive dogs there. Lone behold, I was correct. People like myself that actually need a dog with them are limited because of management like this. Set a better example for other businesses in this mall. Don't let Debbie with her Yorkie bring it in your restaurant all because she has a $3 emotional support dog leash from Amazon. We came here a lot also, just disappointing and I don't think we'll be returning. This wasn't the first time also. This review was cencored on Google... So I'm putting it here also. read more

Varied menu has options to appeal to vegetarians and carnivores alike. Some of the food lacks adequate seasoning and flavor. Prices are excessive considering how underseasoned it is. I had the TLT (tempeh, lettuce and tomato, including avocado slices and vegan mayo), on a multigrain bread. The bread was nice, the tempeh was flavorful, the veggies fresh. Not sure how much of those were actually made in the kitchen, other than assembly. The sandwich was served with sweet potato hash browns, which were mushy and flavorless. read more

Went in for lunch today and sat at the bar. Was treated by the bartenders Gina and Asten who are both very friendly and helpful. This was my 3rd time at this location. The first time I had been to True Food Kitchen was in California when I visited a friend and I loved it and was very excited that it was opening in Boca. The food is healthy and absolutely tasty. Lots of flavor using spices and not a lot of sodium. I had the fish tacos this time. Last time I had the Pad Thai and the time before that the Ancient greens. All equally as good! I will keep going back to try everything on the menu as it all looks amazing! I am told the menu is based on a science and meant to be anti-inflammatory. Very hard to eat healthy when you go out to eat so its great to have a healthy option that is also delicious and a nice place to eat! read more

I have eaten in this restaurant three times. I believe it is unfair to judge a place with only one experience. The first time I went, I ordered something that was not to my liking which was no fault of the restaurant. But the second and third time was fantastic! I especially recommend the shrimp tacos. They have a soft shell, fresh large shrimp, fresh veggies and a delicious lime based sauce. They come with a side of arugula salad or you can change it to something else. What I enjoyed the most was the soft drink offerings. I have had the healthy lemonade and iced tea and both were amazing. It is clear that they strive to please your palate with something fresh, healthy and delicious. Having been there several times, I can honestly state that the consistency of the food quality has been perfect. Service: I have consistently had friendly and attentive service that was just enough. I appreciate good service! I would say more but that would spoil the surprise. And the menu is full of good surprises. Thus, you will have to try True Food Kitchen for yourself. I've been coming to Town Center for years and I'm so glad that there is finally a healthy restaurant to go to! I've heard so many good things about True Food and decided to finally give it a try one evening after shopping. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and matches that fresh vibe they want to give off as there is a lot of greenery. I had the turkey burger with a side of the kale salad. The jalapeño remoulade gives the perfect kick to the burger. My friend is in love with the inside out quinoa burger. It's a little too messy to eat with your hands, but it's soooo delicious. Great choices. Fresh food. Excellent ambience ..... what more can one ask for? For a group of four with different palates and various concerns this was a perfect place. Each of us felt satiated when we left. We had the Edamame dumplings as starters. Then the Artichoke pesto pizza, a sandwich, the Ancient Grains bowl and the Korean salad. Amazingly fresh. Quickly served and excellent flavors. I think this will soon be out groups go to place. Only suggestion is that servers should be more helpful. This was our first time and it took a long time to decide as it's all new. Would have loved some help! Some detailed suggestions. read more

Nice service , good food and conveniently located in the mall :) . Unfortunately I did have a crazy experience , a dog attack . I'm a dog lover , and I have no issue with animals in restaurants , especially service animals . I do however have a big issue with stupid people who buy a "service dog vest" on amazon and bring their untrained / unfriendly with other dogs into a place . I got slapped in the back with this dogs leash(the hard part) and it was mortifying to see him launch and go straight to this other little dog and there were babies around it. Not the restaurants fault however in the future I think they could maybe talk to pet owners ahead of time and maybe space out the dogs ? Not really sure what can be done . read more

Hi, I have had lunch and dinner at this new True Foods location. On both occasions I had the Moroccan Chicken. I had previously enjoyed this dish at True Foods in Scottsdale, AZ and it was perfect, I cleaned my plate. At Dinner last night parts of the chicken were not chewable. The chicken pieces were much thicker than the meal I had at Scottsdale and I somewhat feel this distracts from the meal overall. read more

This was first time at True Kitchen and it was better then expected! The total experience was amazing! Our server Lindsay was so nice and extremely helpful in guiding us with our selections We started with the spring asparagus toast, wild caught albacore takaki, and the chili soup (they ran out of the chicken soup we ordered). I also enjoyed their lemongrass margarita which was off the hook! The starters were all amazing, I would definitely order them again. For dinner we had the poke bowl and the sustainable sea bass. Absolutely delicious! I have the kale chopped salad and added shrimp. It was so well done with a great balance of creamy crunchy, sweet and spicy, the shrimp were perfectly cooks and I are the whole thing even though it was easily large enough to share. Walked in, then walked right out. I walked in, smiled at the lady by the front desk and she just looked at me. I had to ask her if I seated myself. She said no and that someone would seat me. About 2 minute later another woman came to the front looked at the chart and the same woman I spoke to proceeded to bring me to my table. Odd, but ok.... There were a few people at the bar and only one ( maybe two) tables seated. She seats me directly next to another couple with a ton of shopping bags from the mall. An ENTIRE OPEN restaurant and you sit me right on top of anther couple? I politely asked her if I could sit at any of the other open tables and with an attitude she moved me a couple tables over. If your busy, I get it.... The place was empty. The couple just stared at me awkwardly as the hostess tried to sit me right next to all their bags... Uncomfortable... I gave it two stars because the food MAY be good, I just didn't feel like staying to find out. read more

The environment was great and the out door eating area, although crowded, was fantastic during the afternoon hours. The wait staff could be more quick and attentive as we found ourselves constantly waiting 5-10minutes too long in between interactions. The food was perfect. The detail of each dish was spot on and the culmination was interconnected well with the style of the restaurant. The open kitchen really draws you in and also encourages the staff to be on their A game all the time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone is the Boca Raton area and will be coming back for more. read more

Absolutely love True Foods in Boca Raton! The food is fresh and delicious! I have visited True Foods on all my trips to South Florida and have never been disappointed.
