What a wonderful place. The food is great. Everyone can find something to eat on the menu. The service is always good. Best of all they are really wheelchair accessible. It is easy to get through the tables, it is easy to get into the bathroom without assistance, and one can reach everything. I came out for lunch with a number of colleagues. On the whole, appetizers and drinks were great. I enjoyed the variety of beverages that were available. Main dishes were a little hit or miss, but it can be tough when managing food for a large group. Service was ok, but a bit overwhelmed by the large group dynamic. Really love the food here and 5 stars for this type of restaurant where one can find good quality, healthy food but still eat in a restaurant with a view. It's beautifully decorated, filled with light, clean and good enough for a low key date night, friend catch up or even a business closing meal. Rio Riverfront's changed so much in the last decade plus and now it's chock full of restaurants, shops and overall entertainment. When I lived here full time before, it was literally just the movie theater, Tara Thai and Corner Bakery. This was a much-needed addition in a sea of mediocre chain restaurants. Although to be fair, I think this is a chain too but it's a health-conscious chain and I am 1000% here for it! I've been here a few times already and have loved everything I've gotten mind you some things were a bit over-seasoned than others. I really enjoyed the Korean Japchae (may be over seasoned for some) but the flavors are good and it was made well. Same with the steak, I loved the actual dish but again sauce was too salty so I'd ask for that on the side next time. I absolutely LOVED their grass fed burger and while it's not something I'd normally order out I'm so glad I did because it was incredibly flavorful without being heavy. My favorite has got to be the seasonal Kale Cobb Salad, crispy chick peas, pickled jicama (how do I make this at home?!) and I am a huge blue cheese lover although if you are not make sure to ask them to put on side or take it out. Topped with a perfectly charred piece of salmon it was the perfect meal. Additional highlights were the edamame guac, something I was not expecting to like as much as I did and their charred cauliflower. They have a great cocktail/mocktail selection too. I would love to give them more stars but ... here's why I can't My husband and I have gone multiple times for their breakfast and every time the service has just been not great I do get there is something going on with finding the right employees etc. but this has been multiple times now and each time we just don't understand how they are training them? We always have to re ask for something cause it either coffee or juice that never comes to the table or utensils and when I ask it seems like a very big burden as well As far as the food it's good I wouldn't say the best cause again that also has been super inconsistent too read more

Beautiful new restaurant at the Rio in Gaithersburg. Chris, the General Manager, came by to walk us through our experience, what an amazing energy and professionalism. His knowledge of food and their extensive drink program was superb to say the least. He made suggestions and we took them! Server was a young gentleman named Miguel, fantastic service is having everything you need, never asking for a thing and just plain being nice! This guy is a Superstar! The food? One word, Perfect! Amazing atmosphere. Extremely friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable staff. I got the hummus, which is made with jalapeños and lemon juice. We ordered online from this place tonight. I arrived at my scheduled time and food was not ready for another 35 mins after I got there. No one around to check-in on to-go orders and the doordash driver in front of me stormed out. Dining room did not seem busy but the staff was hectic, not sure why. Once my order was finally ready, the boxes felt cold, it was probably sitting around for awhile. After unboxing our orders at home, my chicken panini was ice cold and missing the side kale salad. Our other order had burnt vegetables that was not edible. Wouldn't recommend this place, at least to-go. read more

Food was delicious. When we were seated, they told us something about the menu being irritant free or something to that effect, with it having no rice or something. I didn't understand what they were talking about, but it didn't matter - the food was delicious. The cauliflower with dates was amazing, as was the Grilled Chicken and Mozarella Panini (though it was more of a quesadilla than a panini). They don't have fountain sodas like coke or pepsi, so be prepared for that. I'd separately eaten some of their catering so I've had a chance to try the chicken wrap and the chocolate chip cookies (which I think use banana as a binder since there's no eggs). The cookies were amazing, too. I don't understand what allergens they're avoiding with the no-rice thing but the food was good either way. read more

Bonefish Grill has always been a favorite restaurant for me. Just a few days ago I was disappointed with the food. My husband ordered a steak and crab cake combination with the addition of asparagus. The steak was incredibly chewy as was the asparagus. The waitress was accommodating and changed the steak to a filet mignon, which was better, but tasteless. We paid more as a result but we're left very dissatisfied. The service is always polite and pleasant but the food quality was below par. read more

I am not a vegan, but went with a large group of them. The humus app is really good and the presentation adds olives and I think roasted red peppers in the center with feta. Really decent. I tried the lasagna bolognese which did have some type of ground turkey (maybe) and fennel. Flavor was good, but it was more of a liquid based pasta served in a dish. My wife and I used spoons to eat it so more like soup/stew consistently. Good flavor, but really small portion. Nobody had a drink, but they had craft cocktails and wine which even for the DC area was pricey. Overall, decent. If your not a true vegan, then might want to pass on this. read more

When we walked in we were presented with a rather long wait a at first but once seated we had the most amazing server who really made our quick grab and go lunch a delightful and memorable experience. Yorde had the most amazing bubbly personality and really walked through the menu items with such detail which was particularly helpful since my husband has so many food restriction. She was able to help my husband find helpful swaps for his dietary restriction's and he fell in love with the suggestions she provided. I'm extremely disappointed with True Food Kitchen. I made a reservation for 7:45, before being seated, we waited for 5 minutes when half the restaurant was empty. After being seat, a server never came for 10-15 minutes. It's been one full hour and we are still waiting for our food. This service is awful, our sever has not checked up on us. She spend more of her time doing side work folding napkins. Our server came once to tell us our food was almost ready, in face she saw it. But it never came out. Our server walked by 15 minutes later and we asked where our food was. She went to check on the food and eventually brought the food. By the time my pizza came, it was already cold. I asked them to reheat it but then my pizza was really hard. We also order the charred cauliflower and grass fed beef burger, which were ok. I'm not sure if there's are just issues the restaurant need to work on since they are new. But I won't be going back! read more

The Spinach and Mushroom Pizza is outstanding. The ingredients work so well together. Like many people reading this, I've had lots of pizzas from all over. Very few match this. Also good was the hummus, the blueberry limeade, and chopped salad. The waiter suggested that they have a new pizza in the works (not yet on the menu) that, in his opinion, surpasses the spinach and mushroom (which he also liked a lot). Went to try and grab a healthy meal. We're sat pretty quickly which was nice. We were told to scan the tables to start going through the menu not problem. 5 min later no one came to great use. We had to flag down a random server to see if she knew who our server was. The hostess came by and apologized and then the server came. He was very nice and I asked him about the chicken sausage pizza if there was another topping bc I can't eat chicken. He stated I could add Turkey pepperoni which I stated was fine. He took our drinks and said they would bring some water. Drinks came and we never got water. I then flagged them down again and ask for water and got two room temperature glasses of water. (I did not ask for room temp) the food came out and it was a margarita pizza. I asked what happened to the pepperoni and they said they didn't have it. It didn't come in on the truck and didn't share that info with the servers. So I was offered an item that they didn't have. It was not an experience that would make me come back read more
