Another good True Food location! I believe this one is the closest to my house in SF, so I looked forward to trying it. The atmosphere is trendy and laid-back like other ones I've been to. Our waitress Nicole was so sweet and checked in on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the Lavender Iced Tea with regular water instead of sparkling. Also the Grilled Fish tacos with light jicama and added avocado on the side. The tea was really strong. It was presented beautifully, but I wouldn't order it again- I prefer the other teas and smoothies as they are my "tried and true" favorites. Appetizer was Charred Cauliflower and it was so delicious! I loved the sauce and pistachios. The tacos were also tasty- but I would have preferred more corn. It definitely wasn't enough and more would have made the dish even better. Despite that, the flavors blended beautifully and it's really filling for just 2 tacos. Great for groups of people to share healthy dishes such as the watermelon and tomato salad, hummus, kale and grapefruit guacamole, edamame dumplings and mushroom pizza-few of my favorites. When I'm solo I tend to eat at the bar. Top notch bartenders and servers like Suzie make you feel at home and remember what you like. I have always enjoyed TFK , first discovering the chain in Reston Va. It's always been one of my favorites & was delighted it came to Naples. I have been very satisfied with the food up until my most recent visit- the lasagna just wasn't the same. Not sure what was lacking , if freshness or the bits of carrots weren't there or what; could not pinpoint. It wasn't horrible but lacked something. I was immediately seated and a few minutes later Brigette appears. She asks if I would like a drink and we discuss the Happy Hour options. I was unfamiliar with the wines so she offers a sample. I didn't care for the first so let's try another. It quickly appears but again, I didn't love it. I did love the selection of menu items. It was so hard to decide but she was happy to describe whatever I liked. In the end, I decided on the Spicy Panang Curry with shrimp. This arrived a short time later and OMG! It was so delicious. I rarely finish a dish but this was light and flavorful, I would have it again. During the meal, Joey also started to check-up on me. The service was outstanding with a manager(?) stopping by too. We decided to stop in right before going to see a movie. Although they seemed busy, there was no wait and we were seated quickly. I ordered an appetizer and entree at the same time so that we could get in and out as soon as possible. The appetizer came out quickly. I had the charred broccoli and cauliflower appetizer topped with a harissa tahini sauce sweet chopped medjool dates and pistachios. My favorite part of the dish was the sweet flavor of the dates combined with the tahini sauce. I followed that up with the spicy chicken sausage lasagna. That's wasn't the name, but that's what I remember most about it. It also came with mushrooms, spinach, lemon ricotta and other various herbs. It took a few bites to get to the ricotta, but once I did it helped to counteract heat. Overall the service was great and I'm definitely on board with their mission. UPDATE: May 19, 2028 This was like a different restaurant than the one we came to a few times before with a five star review below. It almost has a fast food feel to it in the same great space. Although, if you don't get one of the side banquettes with and a padded seat you will not find the hard steel, without cushions , hairs very comfortable The service from the beginning was all a rush, you barely had a chance to catch your breath before they wanted to take an order. The green juices, at $7 each, can't be changed at all since the waiter told us they are ore-made The chicken salad had barely any chicken and the chips with the kale guacamole or stale. It took about seven minutes for entrées to arrive from the time we ordered them, clearly already premade in the kitchen and just served fast - I guess we shouldn't have said we didn't want dessert because it took about 45 seconds to get the bill without asking for it Really disappointing that a place with such a great concept has turned into a more expensive organic version of Panera Bread One of the best healthy and tasty restaurants we've been to - a complete winner all the way around from, fresh juices to wonderful and delicious healthy entrées including vegetarian and fish and chicken in innovative preparations -- everything from tuna Tanaki to to Moroccan chicken to grilled Seabass to curry cauliflower to kale guacamole and even a few vegan dishes-- a great selection of wines and beers this is one of our favorite spots and is soon coming to the East Coast of Florida, about which I am very excited -Everybody here is super helpful and cheerful attitude is just great read more

Sunday, Mothers day, I took my wife at approximately 12:30 to true food kitchen and sat at one of the hightop tables overlooking the kitchen.by 1:45 I had to approach a manager and cancel our order because we were never served.. She said so sorry the kitchen is backed up and I will take care of your drinks. THATS IT! Loved the edamame guacamole appetizer! Was unique and you can tell the ingredients are of high quality. My ancient grain bowl was warm, healthy and savory. I asked my waitress for some hot sauce and she forgot to bring it out and the restaurant wasn't even busy. I pay attention to those things. My mom liked her turkey burger but felt it needed some flavor like salt or maybe some bacon. Wish we had salt and pepper on the table. My moms watermelon tea was mostly ice and I would say the same about my iced coffee, just a bit too watered down. We were sat at 515 ordered appetizers and dinner. Appetizers came after dinner. 2 meals never came. No body followed up to see if our food came. When we brought it to someone's attention they said I'll tell your server. By the time she came back it was 615 and too late to reorder as we had to leave.
