First time here, very trendy inside. Everything on their menu is organic, grass fed; clean. The pizza was made with in house sourdough crust. I had a hibiscus iced tea& hub had a lemonade, All was very good!

    "Medium Rare"

    1. I waited so long for my server to show up that by the time she got there happy hour had ended. 2. My steak was not prepared how I had ordered 3. There was a fly in my food! 4. The sever seemed to be very overwhelmed and all over the place. (Nice but hectic)

True Food Kitchen is a restaurant that was found and based on principle advocated by Dr. Andrew Weil, to provide food that is tasty and good for you in fancy words, Integrative Medicine and Healthy Living! We stopped by on a Thursday night. It was not crowded at all and were seated immediately. There are two inside dining area and one outdoor area. The temperature was in the 50's so we opted for inside booth near the bar area. The wait staff were mostly in younger age and very professional! The menu is seasonal while trying to stay within True Food's wellness, sustainability and ethical sourcing in delicious vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options as well. We start off with an Indigo cocktail, Empress 1908 Indigo Gin and elderflower rose gin with lime. A very nice cocktail but could use extra shot of gin! An appetizer of Tuna lettuce wrap was served with Bibb lettuce, rice, pineapple relish, fresh tuna and hot spicy sauce. It was tasty and amazing. The hot spicy sauce or oil added an extra kick to the wrap! We ordered air-fried Chicken Parm with spaghetti squash and grilled tenderloin. The organic DiNapoli tomato sauce is slightly on tart side. Caramelized onion was used in the spaghetti squash to give a nice flavor! The grass-fed tenderloin was grilled to perfect temperature of medium rare. The honey roasted carrot, trumpet mushrooms, onions and peppercorn sauce were extreme nice compliment to the protein. The only complaint is I only found one slice of trumpet mushroom. This is a complete disappointment to mushroom fanboy! Nevertheless, we enjoyed our tenderloin! We were so full that we don't have any room for dessert! Good service, Good food and ambiance. Definitely, will be back.

Located down the street from the resort we were staying at in Naples, True Food is consistent with its vegan/veggie/GF/organic cuisine and the available cocktails. The True Story was a very tasty, citrus-like cocktail, full of buoyance. The chips and dip were solid, even if the chips were a bit too crunchy, but the edamame guacamole dip was tasty. The fingerling potatoes were very good and enjoyable, while the pepperoni pizza with gluten-free crust was good, especially when combined with the hatch chili ranch sauce, which created a synergy for excellence. For a franchise restaurant, it was a good experience, and it has been consistent with other locations I have frequented. The interior was very spacious, not quite minimalist, but radiated a green-inspired design that radiates clean food. The server was very chatty and affable. Young in his 20s, he was very good and ensured we had refills on waters and cocktails.

Clean restaurant. I personally like the food and the fact that I can watch the kitchen. However, ordered an American burger for my friend's teenage son and am embarrassed at the size of it. It looks like a child's portion. For 22.75 I'd expect more meat, or certainly more fries. No way this will feed a growing boy. I wouldn't have been happy if it appeared on my plate!

Awful. I'm so sad I have been to True Food in several locations (different states) and it has never disappointed. Food was mid, but no staff...place was near empty and we still waited just for the water. When we were seated the table had puddles of water so we asked for a napkin or towel to clean it up and the hostess froze. No idea what to do. I'm worried for the future. She left and came back 6 minutes later with some paper towels, like you dry your hands with in the bathroom. Then one at a time she dabbed the whole table. Then we waited. And waited and waited. When a waiter did come we just ordered. 36 minutes for food. They asked if we needed anything else! Forks? Napkins? Ohhhh. 6 more minutes. Food now cold. Also the AC was dripping on us and the booth next to us. I let the manager know on the way out, he didn't really care. I get it, overworked and understaffed. BUT at least pretend to care. I will say the employee who was there with his girlfriend had no problem getting 4 mojitos each and one to go. Their food also came right up. We only knew he was an employee because when the bill came he met the manager over at the register to get cashed out. Wow. I had a friend in from out of town and knew this was a sure bet. Instead a bust. One and done for us.

I really enjoy True Food. Went to the Naples location last night. I haven't been in a while and it looks like they've updated the menu, but some of my favorites are still there. We started with the guacamole and chip. Guacamole was good but the chips -- though bonus points for homemade -- were jarringly hard (subtract bonus points). I would pass on this appetizer. I had the Ancient Grains Bowl and hubs had the OG Burger. My bowl was good but a smidge less delightfully plated as I remembered. No matter: there was not a single quinoa remaining by the time I was finished. Hubs enjoyed his burger ("very good") and umami potatoes were good. I had a grapefruit spritz and hubs had a beer. I would definitely go again to try other menu items. Lovely clean interior, helpful servers. Lots of parking in the mall lot.

    Panini

I found the food when it arrived to be good. As shown in my picture my panini was lacking its side of broccoli. The server set the panini down turned and while walking away told me when the broccoli was ready, she would bring it out. You know all the people with shocking pink hair and piercings that you wonder why you would do that to yourself, and where would they eat? Well, here it is. They work and eat here. This makes the ambiance very secure and welcoming for the people who come here. Some notes on the food and drink. Perhaps the worst iced tea I ever drank. And the sweetener is something that comes from trees. So, I had black tea that tasted like bubble gum. I found the panini to be very good. Since my son was visiting from Chicago and is a vegetarian this place hit a home run with, he and his wife. In fact, they came back and dined here again while we watched the grandkids. The service was poor. And the place was maybe 15% of capacity. The kitchen was slow and incomplete on its orders and presentation. I know when my son, his wife, and kids will be back to Naples. Which means I will be visiting again.

Been here multiple times. Great atmosphere in the restaurant very clean and healthy style. They change some items on the menu every 90 days. I've had the ancient grains bowl and add steak which is usually always good sometimes to spicy for some people depends on the chef that day. The other food I got was the breakfast steak burrito which was ok but bland floor wise. Additionally I got the meat loaf which was also bland and mellow. If you got here the best bang for buck and taste is one of the bowls and add meat. The quinoa bowl is also a good choice that I've had in the past. The service was decent got everything we asked for but could have been faster.

I had the French dip sandwich and the meat was amazing. Tender, flavorful, piled high on a crusty roll with au jus for dipping and a side of fries. This is how a French dip should be done. Paired it with a cold Stella Artois and it was a perfect lunch. My wife had the tuna bowl, which was beautiful. Fresh ahi tuna with avocado, edamame, mango, radish, carrots, cilantro, crispy onions, and fresno peppers. Colorful, fresh, and packed with flavor. She loved it. The service was excellent. Attentive without being overbearing, kept everything moving smoothly. White tablecloth vibes with a comfortable atmosphere. The Verdict: Bricktop's delivered a five star experience. The deviled eggs with honey bacon were a great start, the French dip was outstanding, the tuna bowl was fresh and vibrant, and the service was on point. Definitely worth a visit.

After waiting and receiving absolutely no acknowledgment, I finally got up and left. I wasn't expecting special treatment--just the basic courtesy and service any customer should receive. From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. Thanks to Angel and the kitchen for such an outstanding experience. Seventh South has earned a spot on our regular rotation whenever we're in Naples.

Naturally smoked turkey with brie, pesto mayo, and tomato jam on gluten free bread, served with a fresh Caesar salad. Pretty good sandwich. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. Passed by a burger place, ice cream shop and others arriving at Bicyclette. Receptionist greeted me warmly as I entered and asked if I could have a meal at the bar - no problem. Sat down and (on a Monday at 5:15 no less) had a delicious meal served by Adolfo who was attentive but not pushy. I tried their prix fixe menu - enjoying the eggplant dip with artichoke tostones ( I kid you not ) followed by a branzino grilled well with the most delicious yellow sauce both full of flavor and a hit of tartness. Okay, so, I'm done...well, don't forget dessert chimes in Adolfo; and, I relent. They make their own vanilla ice cream then sprinkle it with some herb, sea salt and....wait for it...Olive Oil. I won't say I liked it but I almost had to smoke a cigarrette after tasting it. The dessert, by the way, was served by the owner Louie who was rightfully quite proud of his recent Michelin Star rating ( "the only one in Naples" ). Upon back at the hotel I made mention to two guests who were just arriving as I'm now a Bicylette evangelist. Try it - I think you'll definitely love it.

The service was friendly throughout the meal, but everything moved surprisingly slowly, from ordering to receiving the food. We tried the salad, burger, and lamb kebabs. The salad and burger were decent but nothing particularly memorable. The lamb kebabs were unfortunately the biggest disappointment of the meal. They were quite salty and the meat was much tougher than expected, making them difficult to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant makes a good first impression with its ambiance and welcoming service, but the food did not quite match the setting. While the experience wasn't terrible, I'm not sure there was enough to make me eager for a second visit.
