The sweat foundations class was HARD (in a great way!)...their classes are 30 min, but they are designed to be so efficient and high intensity that you burn a ton of calories and get a great sweat in. This is a full body workout - combo of cardio and working out various muscle groups. SWEAT class is on a versaclimber, while SCULPT class is a modern Pilates reformer. Sarah is an exceptional teacher - laser-focused and hyper-aware of everything going on. She knows if you're breathing, your scapula is up or your pelvic floor isn't engaged. She is ON IT. Unfortunately, my experience at ATX Pole Studio felt much more manual and disorganized by comparison. When classes were canceled last minute and it was towards the end of a reoccurring bill month, I had to personally reach out to the owner to have credits added back to my account, which became frustrating over time. It would be so much easier if this process was automated like other studios I've attended. The auto-renewal policy also caught me off guard. I didn't see any mention of the 30-day cancellation notice in my receipts or online account, so I was surprised to be charged again after I emailed to cancel before my next billing date. I was told I'd receive credits to use in the future, which I'm assuming I'll have to chase down owner again to get them added as I currently don't see any credits in my account. To make matters even more unsettling, I was automatically charged again the following month, though the owner did issue a credit right after, but again...why is this so difficult in 2025? In the end, I decided to cancel my membership because the overall experience just didn't feel efficient or easy to manage, especially compared to other studios that are more streamlined. I hope the studio improves its systems, and the owner chooses not to ignore emails when it comes to be billing issues.

The studio is intimate, so the class size is small so you get personalized attention, and I can tell the instructors and the students all have great encouraging relationships with each other! There's plenty of free parking outside. They have yoga mats, blocks, and bolsters you can borrow, and towels and cleaners you can use to clean your yoga mats and equipment. Sandra is so well experienced, and pays attention to any injuries that you are struggling with. She even offered us free tea after our classes. I am so calm coming out of their classes, I defined see myself coming back in the future!
