This was a small cute restaurant. Staff were really friendly and gave their opinions on food options. Service was great, we never ran out of water. The restaurant is very much open concept so you can see the kitchen from all angles. I LOVED the way they presented their deserts for us to choose. They brought out the deserts on a tray for us to visually see what each looked like. Super cute, never saw a restaurant do it that way before.

I went to Truffle Bistro for the first time last Sunday for a wine pairing dinner. There was a delicious 5 course meal paired with tasty wine from the Willamette valley. It was a full house and the staff handled it perfectly. I highly recommend trying it for a fun and delicious evening out.

Truffle Bistro is an amazing place for Tapas - aka: appetizers. Everything we have EVER ordered has been delicious and we've tried almost everything on the menu. The only reason we haven't tried everything is that the owner, Henry, changes the menu to keep things fresh and in season. The place is very intimate with a cool vibe. Sit at the bar and watch the chefs work their magic We had Gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce, Spanish Sausages, Duck Breast in Pomegranate sauce, Lamb Meatballs, and Bacon-Wrapped Dates with Gorgonzola. For dessert we had Tiramisu (amazing!) and a Chocolate Dome over a Chocolate Lava Cake. And if that doesn't make you hungry - I don't know what would! It's a little pricey, but worth every dollar. You won't have anything else like it in Orange County.

This is a quaint place for tapas! Our server was really nice and offered recommendations. That was very helpful because they had an extensive menu and we were having a hard time picking dishes. We finally decided on stuffed mushrooms, red wine braised chorizo, short rib gnocchi, grilled octopus. The mushrooms were nice and savory. It was stuffed with cheese and perfectly seasoned and finished off with a sauce. The chorizo had a rich flavor that was heightened with the red wine braise. The octopus had a beautiful char and was accompanied with roasted potatoes and tomatoes. The latter added a nice freshness to every bite. The gnocchi was nice and tender and the short rib was flavorful. Great shareable meal!

    Chocolate dome dessert was divine!

We had such a great meal, I almost hate to tell others about this place! Truffle Bistro provided a lovely, quiet evening with tapas, great wine, and live music. We loved the artichokes, goat cheese and tomato sauce, and garlic shrimp. Didn't love the charge for extra bread, but overall prices were reasonable and comparable to appetizers at other establishments. Delaney was a gracious server with an excellent eye for best practices and guest preference. I'm looking forward to bringing friends and family to show off this special place in Orange.

I'm really glad I liked this place because I didn't want to face the wrath of the owner, lol. I found the flavors to be superb, however definitely on the salty side (eating this salty might not be for everyone). I don't know if there's a term for it, but our lips were saturated with salt from certain items; I'll star the salty items below. Maybe you can request less sodium if you are looking out for your blood pressure? Pro tip: If you're getting something with sauce, ask for bread when you order so it comes out at the same time as your food Brussel sprouts - not many restaurants get this right but theirs were actually crispy and tasty Meatballs* - although simple, it was excellent; order bread Shrimp al ajillo - we loved the sauce on this one; order bread Oxtail** - this one was mouthwatering good. I'm not sure if I'm supposed drink the broth because it's so salty, but I did (well as much as I could) Duck breast* - I was most disappointed with this of all the dishes. It is part my fault for not asking what their "perfectly cooked" temperature is, but it came out medium with the end pieces being medium-well. I prefer medium-rare and should have requested that. Flavor and crispiness of the skin were perfect though (maybe ask for a little less sea salt on top if you're looking to cut back on sodium) Frutta di mare - simple but delicious. I like a lot of lemon on my seafood pasta so I asked for an extra slice to squeeze on top Limoncello dessert - haven't had many good ones in the past so I had low expectations but it was surprisingly scrumptious -staff was very attentive and accommodating -crushed red peppers actually had a little bit of a kick -we didn't think of it until after, but sit at the bar and watch the chef working his magic, if you can

Once we arrived, we realized how intimate and limited the seating was (so makes sense you need to book in advance). This is a great space for date night or a small group. I wouldn't try to come to this location with a large party. I loved the small and intimate dining experience! We got about half the menu and I'd absolutely get everything again. Some of our favorites were the bread + ham butter (a must), the burrata (another must), the mushrooms (I could eat these all day), and the octopus (insane). You can tell every dish has a recipe that has been specially curated for this restaurant, with so many unique flavors and combinations, that you just have to come check it out for yourself. I believe our server's name was Sam, and he was so wonderful! He even brought out their delicious basque cheesecake for the birthday we were celebrating! Just overall a very thoughtful, intimate, delicious restaurant that has easily become a top option for us! Highly recommend!

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. We took advantage of the Friends and Family menu they provide on Mondays Only from 5:00 to closing. We sat at the beautiful bar and were watched over by Jacob. The wife had some special non-alcoholic drink that was very pretty and tasted great. I went with the VACA Tonic, an icy concoction made with gin. It was super refreshing and a nice way to start. This menu has selected tapas items that range in price from $8 to $19. We ordered the Pan Con Tomate ($8) which comes with sliced toasted bread slices, tomato pulp, a delicious olive oil and a side of sea salt. You take a piece of toast, squirt some of the olive oil on top, then pour on the tomato pulp. Light, tasty and delicious. Next up, the Patatas Bravas ($9). Perfectly roasted spicy potato cubes, slathered with tomato sauce and a garlic aioli. WOW! So simple yet so good. I licked the plate clean. Next up, the Bikini Sandwich ($9). Two small perfectly toasted cheesy sandwich wedges that have Iberico ham, manchego cheese and a hint of truffles. It was really delicious and the special ham was the star of the show. These are great starting items, yet surprisingly filling. I couldn't stop there though and wanted to order some of their famous paella. I decided on the Paella De Carne ($53). This is a meat paella with pork belly, chorizo, blood sausage, duck confit (a leg & thigh), beef cheek, with bomba rice and a garlic aioli. You have to wait about 20 minutes for them to make it but it's worth the wait. It was perfectly cooked and awash in flavor. The special paella pan they prepare the dish in looked well seasoned and I wished I could have taken it home. The menu is extensive with lots of choices to accommodate any palate. The restaurant is beautiful and has a front and back patio seating. If you have a choice, sit on the back patio. There is valet parking for $12, but there is a parking structure right across the street that provides easy access and is free with validation.

Our group of friends has known each other for nearly five decades--most of us since we were about seven years old, and one since we were teenagers. After all these years, one of the things we continue to value is finding new experiences and creating new memories together, and Top of the V gave us exactly that. The hospitality was noticeable before we even reached the restaurant. From the moment we entered the hotel and asked about parking validation, everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. When we arrived at Top of the V, our entire party hadn't arrived yet and our table was still being prepared, but the hostess couldn't have been kinder. Instead of simply telling us we needed to wait, she made us feel comfortable, showed us where we could sit, pointed out the bar if we wanted something while we waited, and made the whole experience feel welcoming rather than transactional. The rooftop waiting area itself was beautiful and comfortable, and we happened to have perfect July evening weather. By the time the rest of our party arrived, our table was ready and the timing couldn't have worked out better. Our server was fantastic--personable, fun, knowledgeable, attentive without hovering, and genuinely contributed to making my birthday feel special. We never felt forgotten or had to wait excessively for anything, and she checked in with us throughout the evening while still allowing us plenty of time to enjoy being together. One of the biggest reasons we chose Top of the V was the opportunity to watch the Disneyland fireworks from the rooftop, and that ended up being one of my favorite parts of the evening. Having been born and raised in Southern California, Disneyland and its fireworks are certainly not new to us, but seeing them from this perspective absolutely was. From above, you can really appreciate how vast the Disneyland property is, and watching the fireworks from that vantage point gave something so familiar an entirely different feel. There was something pretty great about a group of women in our 50s who have known one another since childhood still discovering something new together. Apparently, there are always more memories to make and new perspectives to find. Top of the V became part of one of those memories for us. Between the beautiful rooftop setting, the Disneyland fireworks, the excellent service, and genuinely warm hospitality from beginning to end, it made for a very special and enjoyable birthday evening. I would absolutely recommend it, especially if you're looking for somewhere that feels like more than just dinner--it can truly become part of the occasion.

They also have beef and chicken milanesa, breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and even a case of pastries and dessert! I need to come back and try their baked goods and fruit tarts. Happy eating! Yelp Review #53- 2026
