This place has been my go to sushi spot for a few years now. They always have half off Happy Hour sushi going on from 12pm to 9pm so it's pretty much all day. The sushi is awesome and the prices are unbeatable in comparison to other sushi spots. This service is excellent and I've never had any problems with anyone here. This location is always clean no matter how busy it might get throughout the day. I've been here when its been crazy busy and slow. I usually try to avoid sitting down at their bar area because when it's busy they go over your head to try and get sushi out to their customers. There are also many different entree combos all for a decent price! Whenever I am home, I will be coming back here for sure. Of the half-off sushis, I tried Tiger, Dragon, Rainbow, Crispy Spicy Tuna, Crispy Salmon and Red Dragon roll. All were alright, nothing that tasted super spectacular, but they were only half-priced. Tasted ordinary. The cheery blossom roll is delicious. I believe the fish is tuna and salmon. This roll isn't half off, but it is my favorite roll here. Our family loves to eat here! The food is always fresh, delicious and affordable. We get the best deals on sushi here - better than anywhere else in the area. The service is fantastic they always greet us right away, check on our table often and are very sweet to our 1 year old who is a little bit shy. It has a very friendly staff and the environment is so welcoming. The sushi chef staff is outstanding! They even give you these little orange slice sculptures when you sit at the bar sometimes and that always makes me feel so special. The prices are unlike anything I've ever seen at a sushi restaurant! It's happy hour almost all day every day. I can eat and drink like a queen for an extremely reasonable price! My favorite roll by far is the Rainbow Roll. It's a classic, but Tru Sushi's roll is the very best! I also love the Bonzai Roll, Miami Vice Roll, Marathon Roll, Poke Hawaiian Roll and so much more. I went in for the first time and had never been to a restaurant with such hostile environment. The old Asian lady(server and the owner according to some reviews)is cranky AF. The second she asked me " How many" with her cranky face, like my daughter and I are a bother, I decide to sit outside. My 3 year-old actually asked me "why's that lady so mad?" The only time she came out I thought I could finally ask for water refill she just pointed to my soy sauce and asked "You done?" with her cranky fucking face, and took it and left before I could even ask for anything.
