My options were limited since I don't eat pork and a majority of their meat is pork. They do have a chicken sausage, but looking at pictures. It looks like the casing may possibly be pork so I decided to avoid it just in case. I also got their cold brew, it didn't come with any cream or sweetener or anything to add. I probably should've asked for some, because I found the cold brew to just be OK. My husband got the chicken pot pie and said he expected more chicken in it. She comes back out to say they have no Lima beans. My husband says why don't you tell me what you have and I will choose. It was apparent they had very little on the menu. It's 1:30pm on a Wednesday. It helps to know your inventory. The food comes out. I could hardly cut the chicken it was so dry and overcooked. It looked dark inside as if it was old. I tasted a little piece thinking maybe it was a different seasoning, it had an aftertaste. When the server came back, we inquired about the chicken. She said it is precooked in the mornings and cooked completely when ordered. I thought that's dangerous, letting undercooked chicken sit until ordered. The liver was so dry, you can see it in the picture. My husband could not eat it. They gave the impression that the food was cooked to order. It was not. The black eye peas and yams were good. The collard greens were okay. Not sure where the gravy on the rice came from. It wasn't from the liver. We didn't eat any of the food. They charged us for half the meal. I would have given a 1, but they were very nice. My goal is never to hurt a business. I'm a business owner. But, we must give a good product. We were very disappointed.
