I wanted to do 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4. Food was good. Service was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really cool interior, I lived in Japan and I recognized a lot of the signs, etc. They put a lot of effort into that and I appreciate it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They even have gocha machines in the front. But it's sushi, so it's expensive, but I can't fault them for that. I'd come again, but I would definitely not be hungry when I come.

We had a really good first experience here. Their waitlist system where you check in on yelp work very well for us on a Friday night, party of five. The belt was fairly full the entire time. When we ordered on the iPad things came out quickly. Our server was attentive. Is it the best sushi in the world? Probably not, but it was decent and we all had a great time.

Very fun restaurant. Delicious food and fast service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like how they take the Japanese dining experience from Japan.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Like they have a button to let your server know you need them or that you need your ticket! The sushi tastes authentic too. I'm glad they serve karage the right way! With lemon and mayo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the Japanese signage all over the walls too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only thing is that it's pretty expensive. Each plate is $3.5. But that's the way every place is these days.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cool vibe in Utah county. Wow, what a unique and interactive dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've been eyeing this place for a while, so glad I tried it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in the decor is so fun with cool lighted Japanese signs all over.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can order from the iPad on the table. Or grab a dish as they whiz by on a conveyor belt. (They are fresh and each plate is microchipped so they only stay on there a short time) The plates are perfectly sized. And if you're someone like me who's kind of picky, you don't have to get stuck with a whole sushi role you don't like. The plates are smaller so you're able to try so many different unique tastes. There are mild to bold flavors and love that many of them are healthy. Prices are unbeatable too. My go to faves are 1. Coconut Shrimp Mango roll 2. Tsubane roll 3. Vegas roll 4. Spicy California roll (it's very mildly spicy) 5. Aonori Fries with dipping sauce 6. Tempura fried mango dessert Omgg this is sooo good! 7. The Taiyaki fried Nutella dessert holyyy so crispy and filled with Nutella is such a treat! It gets busy on the weekends so add your name to the waitlist before you head over. Services is amazing. So fast and superrr friendly. We need more of these in Utah, I love the interactive sushi vibe!!

When I say we had to turn the car around, we literally had to turn the car around . Saw the sign that said "Revolving Sushi" and we knew we had to go try. Super cute when walking in. It's like we were in a Japan subway. They had cute toy machines up front by the register. Warning - the token for them was a bit pricey but the items were cute and worth it. I believe it was $3.50 each? The first time we went, they had different prices based on type of plate you grabbed. The second time, which was a few days ago, everything was $3.39 a plate. I've attached a picture of the menu BEFORE they changed it to $3.39 a plate. Each plate of sushi is about 4pcs aside from nigiri which is 2pcs. You can wait for the sushi to come around and you can also order what you want off the menu on the iPad at the table. They have a good variety. The fries are soo good! They were so sweet to make a special request roll for my daughter. We entered on the iPad a California roll but in the comment section asked for only avocado and rice. They even put it on the cheapest plate (before the menu change). We will be back. It's actually pretty cheap. We had 15 plates and a hot tea. Total was about $55.

I've been here 4-5 times over the past year and it's never disappointed me. The sushi tastes fresh and the conveyor belt feature means you're never waiting long for some options to roll by. This last visit, we ran into a situation where we were sitting after a large group so the conveyor belt options were really limited once they'd taken their picks, I'd never relied on the iPad feature so much but it was surprising how fast the ordered rolls would come out, and they were fresher too so our experience was not diminished at all. Whoever is in the back is working HARD. It's a busy environment and the train station decor/sounds are really fun, so even when the restaurant is on the emptier side, it doesn't feel too slow and quiet, it's just been really enjoyable every time I've gone. Plus 3.39 a plate feels like such a steal, I only wish we had a Tsubame closer to SLC.

We loved this place! Our favorite part is we were not stuck with one roll typically we share three rolls at a normal sushi bar, but here we got to try like five or six and then some apps since the portions are smaller. It's such a fun concept and has me feeling like a kid the whole time. We especially loved the subway theme decor made it fun to look around. The one thing that was a little weird was the tipping subject. While you have a server to refill waters, they aren't there for much else besides paying too. I think that the tips should go to the cooks over anything. Just something we got to talking about when it came time to pay. Also ended up with a bill that was 20 bucks cheaper than our normal sushi dates and just as full bellies! Overall, I think we have our new go to sushi spot!

Fun! Pretty popular place as we had a 25 minute wait at 1:30 pm on a Monday afternoon. The sushi was surprisingly great - truthfully as good as anything I've had anywhere - including Japan. Loved the Japanese vibe and felt I was back in Tokyo for a second. The service was friendly and quick. Our server said we got the record for the most plates! 77 total! I'm sure she tells everyone that. Haha. I'll definitely be back!

We had the miso soup- pretty good the tofu pieces were small and few. Edamame was typical in size. Some of the sushi rice was not cooked thoroughly and I don't know why or how but some pieces fell apart with the chop sticks... poor building skills. Cons: Not a good selection- they make more Tuna Rolls than any other fish No Fresh Wasabi option- only the paste The Unagi is normally fall apart tender, our we had to actually chew it.. rubbery, And water isn't just given, you have to ask for it a few times The Yellow Tail with Mango- not good Pros... The Snowy Mountain- was Awesome As the Hawaiian The Vegas is my favorite everywhere I go, and this was good- but it's lightly batter in tempura , where this was done differently and instead of ruining it covered in spicy mayo., I drizzle eel/ponzu sauce.. California roll is always a staple Caterpillar is bomb.. I normally order the Philly- here they use smoked salmon which is NOT used to make this.. so order with traditional salmon, tastes 100% better For two of us with soda our bill was $115 For two people.. not Four.. we didn't want to wait till 9pm "happy hour" for the 50% sweet deal... it's a joke in the wall spot for locals that feel this is good sushi, when it's actually not..

A Sushi Spot That Earns Regular Status Tsunami Traverse…read moreMountain checks all the boxes. Great ambience, friendly staff, a menu broad enough to satisfy any mood, and food that delivers on what it promises. This one has earned a regular spot in my rotation. If you arrive before 3:00 pm, do yourself a favor and order from the combo lunch menu. For a good price, you get miso soup, white rice, pork gyoza, and tempura vegetables, and then choose two items from a list that includes chicken, rolls, and sashimi. The gyoza and tempura alone are worth calling out, both done well. I went with the spicy tuna roll and steak teriyaki and did not regret either choice. Now for the rolls. The Tsunami Roll is the signature and it earns that title, order it without hesitation. The Spicy Masa and Fire Breathing Dragon round out my personal top three and I have yet to be disappointed by any of them. The two areas where they could level up: the wait for food is longer than the lunch setting calls for, so come with patience and plan accordingly. And for a restaurant with rolls this photogenic, a printed menu with photos would go a long way.

I ordered a lunch box with spicy tuna and salmon teriyaki. I liked that they served teriyaki sauce separately. But the spicy tuna,,,,, the tuna was not fresh and it was not spicy tuna I am used to from the bay area. I had one and did not touch the rest of the rolls. You know the fishy taste you get when it is not fresh. Rice in the roll was not properly cooked, was al dente-this is big no. They have house made ice cream which we ordered three different flavors: vanilla, coconut & strawberry. They were Amazing! My 3 stars is for their sush roll.
