went here for mother's day and as expected, this place was packed! our wait was around 45 minutes but it went by fairly quickly. although it was a holiday and i'm sure the waitstaff was overwhelmed, our experience was great. the pancakes were awesome and i was obsessed with their maple syrup. we also got the hot honey chicken wrap and i highly recommend. the hot honey was so yummy. food came out at a reasonable time and our waitress checked in on us frequently. the place also gives you free hot coffee while you're waiting which was really nice. read more

Popped in today with a friend and this little place was busy !! I recommend calling ahead if possible. We sat outside and were welcomed by friendly staff. Our waiter Jacob was the sweetest. The menu made it hard to choose and as other guests plates passed by everything looks delicious. We opted for the Wilbur skillet ,shrimp and grits and the cinnamon rolls. We never got to the food for a review. The service was horrendous. Bad experience to say the least. We were told table available immediately if we chose to sit outside on patio. We did only because we did NOT want to wait. mistake. And, we waited & waited in warm temps for 30 minutes until a server came to take our order. The woman apologized and asked if we had a time constraint? I said, yes as I had work in the afternoon. She replied, she'd get our order right anway into kitchen so food would be put out quickly on our table. Twenty more minutes passed and still nothing. I went inside & asked to speak to a manager who did NOT meet me. I only spoke with front staff to no avail. My son in law went inside and again, asked for the manager. Front staff went to manager who shook her head. She never came to us - again - but chose to ignore us. 50 minutes in total passed with no food. We were with a four year old child waiting in warm temps so we would not have to initially wait inside to eat. We left and NO apology as food was about to finally come out. NO offer was made available to us to compensate as they watched us leave. I DO NOT recommend even trying this restaurant. Plenty of others are near with historic reliability and customer satisfaction for eggs and pancakes. No service, no eggs and no pancakes. Experience is everything pre food and Turning Point in Boynton Beach makes a sharp turn pointing down. read more

Just had a delicious breakfast on ther official opening day. Sat on the veranda and enjoyed the setting and ambiance. Coffee was great and eggs were made correectly the first time. Serving size was more than adequate and personnel were very friendly and forthcoming about the place and its origins. We look forward to many more visits with friends. read more

We were 3 guests but only 2 were given food to eat. Food brought to table but 1 person received wrong dish. Sent it back with the young man who brought food to the table and told him the correct dish ordered. Assuming he corrected order and/or told our waitress. The waitress never came back to table. 30 minutes later we called the waitress over. She went to the back to check the order. 10 min later returned with watery "omelet", the shrimp were freezing cold (right out the cooler) and eggs were half cooked. Showed the waitress and asked her to take it back. She didn't offer another dish nor did she apologize. She simply removed the dish from the bill and did not compensate in any other way. After 1 1/2 hours in the restaurant one person left after only having drank a glass of tea. Totally unacceptable. This is a new restaurant and is certainly losing customers very quickly. Service has gone from good to terrible in a very short time. Treatment of their customers is totally unacceptable. Will not return. read more

The service is horrible and this was our first time. We came in and they said we had a 40 minute wait we said okay . We were waiting for a whole hour they said it was 8 people infront of us after a whole hour and more . After we seen them sat 8 people down then they called a party of 6 that literally came 5 minutes ago .They let plenty of white people sit down before us that came after us . We ended up leaving because not only were they ignoring us , when we went up to ask how much longer she showed us a list of people still ahead of us that just came ... and asked if we wanted to cancel. The NEW BEST breakfast spot in Boynton Beach! We started our wonderful breakfast with an order of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Our coffee was prepared in a lovely glass French Press and brought out to the table for us to enjoy. I've never had Blue Mountain coffee before, and it was delicious! For the meal we ordered the Health Freak Breakfast Combo, which brings the crossfit omelet (egg white omelet with spinach, carmelized onions, mushrooms and zucchini), 1 power grain pancake and chicken sausage. My honey ordered the western omelet which came with breakfast potatoes and rye bread. WOW, everything we ordered was outstanding!!!! I honestly can't say anything bad about the food or service. The omelets are huge and have so much flavor. The potatoes are packed with flavor too and I really enjoyed the grain pancake. I wasn't sure what to expect with the pancake because it was made out of oats. But surprising it was good - simple oat flavor, but really good. There wasn't any special topping to the pancake other than butter and maple syrup, but I really enjoyed it. They have other flavored pancakes, which I'll order next time, as I'm sure they'll be really good. We're only sorry that we didn't take any pictures of our meal. Everything tasted so good from the moment we took our first bite that we couldn't stop eating LOL. Our new favorite spot. I Highly recommend Turning Point for breakfast. I'm certain their lunch menu is just as delicious as their breakfast menu and will certainly go back again to try their lunch. I love everything about this new spot, from the moment you enter the restaurant you are gracefully greeted by everyone at the front. The restaurant is really cute too. Cute farm country style interior with ample space on the inside and outside patio too. And the customer service was out of this world! These days it's rare to go out to eat and have such pleasant and professional table service. Everyone working there was just so pleasant that we really didn't want to leave even after we finished eating. Thank you again for bringing us this wonderful new place to Boynton Beach. I had to update the previous review from four stars to five stars. When we initially ate there, I mentioned that I only saw that the bread selection was English muffins. That was my mistake. They do have other options, including gluten-free options. My husband and I have breakfast here at least twice a month and I've always been very happy with our meals and with the service. I can't believe the number of reviews this place is getting since it just opened. The food is amazing, but the servers are also something else. I have never seen such warmth, friendliness, and enthusiasm as I have on the two occasions that we have been there. This is the 29th in a chain of Turning Points. Our first time there, we met Kirk, who owns the chain and was in there working right alongside everyone else. You can't miss him if he is there, he is a tall athletic looking, youthful guy. When I first thought about writing a review, I was going to include advice about going there before the restaurant developed lines. This morning we got there early and got seated with no problem, but by the time we were leaving, there was a line. Waited for Turning Point to open for several months. I used to live in NJ and went to several Turning Point restaurants. Ate brunch today and the food was wonderful. Service by Brittany was amazing as well. Manager came over and said she was taking 20% off the check since we knew the restaurant and she wants us to keep coming back. Had the tropical waffle which is my usual order. Waffle with bananas, strawberries, mango, pineapple and granola. They serve it with a warm strawberry compote. Spinach, omelet and only saw two spinach leaves, I would not call that a spinach omelet....should have sent back and did see another person with an omelet after mine and theirs nice and fluffy and not brown, cheese was on top and not inside the omelet, potatoes barely lukewarm and the bacon and red peppers, a few. First time visiting this establishment and was looking forward to trying something new. Everything was smooth sailing up until our order was placed. The complimentary water provided was room temperature, so naturally we asked for ice, no big deal. We waited for an extended period of time for our food to come out, I get it, it's busy. However the problem with our food was just beyond. We ordered a salmon platter, the salmon was room temperature as well as the cream cheese. There was bones in the salmon as well as discoloration. The omelette was huge and yet I'd manage to find hair in the omelette on top of the mushroom. I'd asked for syrup which never came to the table. We ordered a clam chowder and Mac, they tried to bring us turkey chili which we didn't order and insisted we take it. We kindly refused and explained we had ordered clam chowder, which when they returned they stated they were all out and continued insisting on taking the chili. When we finally saw our waitress we stated we haven't received the mac, they stated they were all out. We requested a manager to express our concerns regarding the food and lack of attention to our table. Our water was never refilled, items that were missing, temperature, hair, etc. The manager apologized and removed our plates. The table next to us consisted of an 2 older patrons who also stated they wanted to complain after overhearing us in which the manager told them there was no need and insisted we stopped speaking with them. The manager then stated they were going to provide us a comp gift card however basically dangling the gift card over our head and stated forget it. Their demeanor towards us changed quickly and were rude. We expressed that due to the service, food quality and behavior, we wouldn't return to the establishment.
