    Not a clean place.

This was the worst eating experience we have ever had. Watch people work out without orders taken. Wait 40 minutes for pancakes. Not a clean place either. The owners should close this place sell it and have someone else take over. Run very poorly. They should be embarrassed as owners.

We stopped here for breakfast before looking at Bryn Mawr College. Extensive but standard breakfast/brunch fare but also very delicious. The dish that stood out (especially to the teenager) was cinnamon roll pancakes- they were huge and lots of cinnamon and very tasty (although as much a dessert as a breakfast:) Seemed to be mostly a slightly older set. Service was good.

Really great service- friendly and fast even during the lunch rush. Bacon lollies are ok- kinda mushy. Very sweet and not much bacon flavor. Bacon isn't crispy or thick enough. Overpowered by apple sweetness Chicken salad- good and fresh very creamy with lots of Mayo. Thick hearty toast is a perfect compliment with the chicken salad. Lemon dressing is really good. Refreshing but very citrusy. Ranch has too much pepper for me. Balsamic is good basic flavor Chop chop salad is really good. Chicken tenders on a salad is always a great choice in my book! Seaside Jersey sandwich is good. Basic Turkey club.

First time at Turning Point and it did not disappoint. The service was good, although the server had quite a few tables. It has a farm to table kind of ambiance. The food was amazing!! Shakshuka was just a tiny bit spicy, and had 3 poached eggs (more than I could eat) and the ciabatta was perfectly toasted Husband had the Wilbur skillet which he loved.

Delicious Vegan Options and friendly professional staff ! Sit at the counter to chat with the crew.

Nice experience! Place is open and airy - Staff friendly and service very good. There were 3 of us and we all honed in on the Eggs Benedict for lunch, something that you don't really see all that much on menus. The Avocado Smash Benny was very good and was Ciabatta bread, avocado smash, plum tomato, bacon, two poached eggs and hollandaise. (That counted for 2 orders). The Classic was also very good and was served on an English muffin, ham, tomato, two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Nice menu with many choices. Open for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

The food and service is amazing! I'll definitely be back again to try another thing on the menu!

Roll, meat, and cheese, it's a cheesesteak. It's not going to win any cheesesteak contest, but this was a great stop. Friendly, professional bartender. Bar and table seating. The Brisket Chopped Cheese comes on a very nicely made and toasted seeded roll. The meat was very good. It may have been better in a pile and eaten with a fork. It came with cole slaw and spicy aioli. They added a ton of great flavor. I liked my beer. I considered getting a second one. The guy next to me told me he liked my shirt, so he won a t-shirt. We picked La Cabra for a late lunch for no reason other than we had never been there before. There were more people inside than we anticipated so we bellied up to the bar and began asking questions. The bartender was fantastic. Not only did he let me taste a couple of house beers before I made my selection, he recommended different items on the menu.. all which turned out to be great. We started with the buffalo chicken dip. Loved it! It had great flavor.. smoky... with lots of chicken and great thick corn chips. While we worked on the appetizer, we struggled over sauce selections for our sandwiches. Our fab bartender were offered us samples of all of them. I loved the pit sauce. They are all housemade.. and so good, we took home the leftovers. Beware the dangerously spicy one though. It can take your lips off but it goes great with a beer. We ordered pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. Both were moist, tender, infused with smokieness.... so good, I asked about the smokemaster. It turns out there are two La Cabras. One makes the beer and this place handles the smoke so we made an excellent choice in locations. We also got cole slaw, beans and mac-n-cheese. The cole slaw was crisp, very fresh. They made a very different take on beans. Large smoky beans and no gooey sweet BBQ sauce. The mac-n-cheese was a massive hit and if you love this dish, they have entree size takes on it. By now we were full, very happy and feeling a bit guilty that our kids missed such a great meal. We ordered dirty chocolate pudding as takeout and La Cabra went all in. The kids loved this chocolately cakey pudding that came complete with gummy worms. We will definitely go back for more and maybe tonight now that I have remembered how great the food was, thanks to this review.

The service was very good: attentive and friendly. The ambiance is similar to Not Your Average Joe's in Ardmore with the upstairs/balcony seating and downstairs and big screen TV showing sports, but much noisier, especially as the upstairs also was filled with guests. By the time we left at 7:45pm after a 6:45pm reservation, it was loud enough that we had to fairly shout at each other to continue our conversation. The food was okay, except the salad which was excellent, but not worth returning for just the salad. - beet salad - 4.5/5, plentiful small diced red and yellow beets, avocado, arugula, a light dressing and burrato with crushed pistachios. a very solid starter salad and the server kindly split a large order into two small plates for us to share - fried calamari - 3/5, having just eaten at Estia last night which has a very good fried calamari, this one was not breaded as consistently and some of the pieces were a tad on the large side for a reasonable bite and too chewy to be cut with the fork or knife. - penne puttanesca - 3/5, my husband ordered this and while he not a self-proclaimed foodie, for him to say it was just okay means it was really just okay - linguine vongole - 3/5, points for the very plentiful offering of clams, i counted probably 20 generously sized clams (sometimes you get miniscule clams with this dish), but overall the sauce was too salty and there's not much you can do to fix that, and the linguine was a bit overcooked, definitely not even close to al dente We skipped dessert as by that point our ears were starting to ring with the high decibels coming from around us on the balcony and the floor below. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time so maybe it's just not for us.

The service was excellent, the pub environment was pub-like, we were seated at a high top at the back of the restaurant and next to a door to to the outside which made it very cold! Service: each person with whom we interacted (hosts, manager, food runners and especially our server...she was fantastic). Food: For the table, we got Calamari: very light and crispy, but the meat was nice and tender Pepperoni and soppressata pizza: excellent, with an amazing sauce, sausage and crispy outside tender inside crust. Dinner: The kids both got the Rigatoni Vodka. This is what I had the first time we visited. It was just as delicious. Packed with flavor and the sausage was perfect. Tender, and just a touch of heat. My wife got the Gemelli. A pistachio pesto - this was probably the best pesto I've ever tasted. Creamy, fill of flavor and a touch of acid that brightened it up nicely. Incredible. I got the Bucatini Amatriciana. Pomodoro sauce with guanciale. Blew me away. The pomodoro was unbelievably well balanced. Exact amount of sweetness, slightly acidic and the guanciale brought the salty note, in the form of crispy crunchy bacon flavor, but surprisingly tender. Blown away. We had to try dessert. Tiramisu: it was as good as expected. Very well made Vanilla Panna Cotta: this was exceptional (like pretty much the rest of the meal) delicate and creamy, and a huckleberry compote (?) that was insanely good. A touch of salt was in there to make it positively sing. I could not more highly recommend giving this place a try. Absolutely the whole package. Loved it and will be back!
