We decided we needed to try a new place in Jersey instead of going to our local diner (which has slowly decreased with their quality and raised their prices). So here I was on Yelp and this place popped up and we needed to check it out. As soon as we got there it was already packed for a Wednesday at 11am! Luckily we didn't wait too long. The menu had lots of different choices and there was also a specials menu. Everything sounded delicious! I really wanted to order their French press but my hubby does not drink coffee and I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it as it serves 2-3 cups. I ended up ordering the salted caramel mocha-chino and it was delicious!! For entrees we decided on the tropical crunch waffle and the Italiano eggs benedict special. Both were great! Our server was very sweet and friendly. Service was a little slow but we did understand they were very busy but we were in no hurry as we were both off from work. I eat here fairly often and love their healthy brunch options! The staff is always friendly. I haven't noticed any declines in food quality as a previous person rated. The wait time can be lengthy on a Sunday but that goes for any decent restaurant in Marlton. I personally love their coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, avocado and tomato toast, eggs Benedict, waffle, cosmo salad and breakfast nachos to just name a few. Took my work team of 12 people here after a having a meeting close by. I called ahead and they easily accommodated the party. Our waiter Nick was awesome and even split the check per person. Food was amazing! Really happy with my first time experience here. read more

Sunday, March 17, 2019: I knew that I would have to wait for a table when, this morning, my wife suggested TP for a late breakfast so I was not surprised when I arrived at TP that I was told that there would be between a 45-minute to an hour wait for our party of 3 to be seated. They took my cell phone number to text me when the table was ready. Having waited the first 45 minutes I went to the desk to double-check the reservation and was told that there were about 4 parties ahead of me. Then, waited in the car, in the parking lot, for another 30 minutes when, once again, I decided to check the reservation again. The girl at the desk was laughing when she told me that they already seated my reservation with people that claimed to have the same name as mine a while ago..... WOW!... I, truly, did not see the levity here!!!!!!! ... "You wait right here and we will seat you as soon as we can", I was told. (I guess I would have waited in the car for 2 more hours if I had not gone to the desk to ask about my reservation.) I was then seated another 10-minutes later. A total wait time of 1 hour 45 minutes.... If I had known that of time I would have gone elsewhere. There was no manager that came to my table to apologize. A plate with a small cup of crushed/diced fruit was dropped on the table while I had gone to wash my hands in their men's room. (I presume to suggest an apology.) My wife and son did eat, but I was so pissed-off that I didn't even want to be there and I didn't even eat. BTW the waitress was very sweet. I am not sure why you would treat a guest in this way? I was there to have a nice time, only to have the exact opposite happen. But who cares right? ............... 'Cause they've got plenty more people in that line!!! read more

I finally got to try turning point for breakfast. Service was friendly and the breakfast wrap from the "healthier options" part of the menu was so delicious! It came with a fruit cup and oatmeal! Very very good. The menu is large and impressive. This is a higher quality breakfast than you'll find at many places around here. However, it's so popular that there's always a wait and the food seems to take a while. Not their fault - they're killing it! Went for a bday brunch for my daughter and the hot chocolate we ordered came with ice in it, even without asking for it that way. Peruvian press was ok...and pancakes were not up to our standards which would be Redstone's brunch pancakes. Seating also took a while. read more

Long waits here (35 minutes for two) but it's located in a shopping mall so you can wander and shop while you wait, and they'll text you when your table is ready! The food was great, definitely worth the wait. Service was a little slow, but the place was mobbed and we were in no rush. Great coffee here too! read more

Great experience this morning at The Turning Point. This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back. There were lots of options on the menu, ingredients were fresh, and the service was prompt and friendly. There was a 30 minute wait for a table, however seats opened at the bar so we actually only waited about 5 minutes. Our server recommended the Wilbur Skillet which I tried and really enjoyed. My ice coffee was served with coffee ice cubes which was a great touch because the iced coffee never got watered down as the ice melted. There was also water pitchers available so you could refill at your leisure. This was perfect because we came to dine directly after a run. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

Here's the letter I sent to the corporate office on February 28, 2017. Today is April 2, 2017. Their site says they love to hear from you. Well maybe they do, but obviously they don't care to respond. My boyfriend Scott & I ate breakfast at the Marlton, NJ location of The Turning Point on January 28 with Scott's birthday "Perk Card". We have eaten at the Cherry Hill location of your restaurant on numerous occasions. As always, our meal was great. This is why we are repeat customers. However, I was upset when I received my American Express bill and discovered that my $9.08 bill included a $1.92 tip that I did not authorize. I always leave my tip in cash form. Also, I always tip approximately 20% based on what the full total of what the bill would be before any free coupon is used. Our full bill would have been approximately $20.00, so I would have left a $4.00 tip, not $1.92. I would be hesitant to go back to the Marlton location and use my credit card. I am concerned that this this type of theft is a repeated practice, which would impact your business. I believe that the manager should be made aware of my complaint. I've been here a couple times for brunch and the place is adorable. I love the whole brunch atmosphere. I've gotten their skillets and they've been okay, but their coffee is delicious. I'm not sure if all of their French presses come with a cute crystal candy stick to stir, but the one that I had was the Hawaiian coffee and it was amazing! The corn bread french toast - oh! Amazing! And I didn't even order it. I ordered the juevos rancheros, which was good - but not something I would return for. However, I will return and order that corn bread french toast for myself! Our waitress was first rate! She was attentive and helpful, but not overbearing and was very friendly. Perfect for a nice breakfast out. First thing I noticed is that they have plenty of options that are not eggs. (I hate eggs and it is hard to go out for breakfast and find something eggless) it is beautiful and comfortably spaced. Everything was very reasonably priced. They could've charged much more.
