This is the worst manicure I've ever had. Not only did the technician take 1 hr 30 mins for a gel manicure which usually only takes 1 hr, there is a bubble hole on my thumb nail. There is a bulky part in the bottom. The cuticle removal was messy, i still see particles not removed and parts of my nails are bleeding , the application of the color is terrible. I see parts that have not been color applied, some parts of my fingers were painted instead of the nail. The technically took my whole arm and held it up to see if the nails were filled straight and even though she did this "technique" 5 times, my nails were not straight..... dont come here. They conveniently "forget" to mention that those prices are add-ons to their already ridiculous $65 gel pedicure. So basically the menu is there to trick you. Then the cashier rings me up for $95. This step made me feel like the final nails were perfect because I didn't have to go home and clean out all the dusty bits under my nails which is what I'm used to at other salons. So let me make this clear, they did a good job with my nails. But I thought it's weird they don't offer acrylic nails at a nail salon. Instead she introduced me to this other extension which I forgot the name but it was nearly 200 bucks. In preparation for my vacation, I scheduled an appointment 1 week in advance since I was leaving the next day. When I got there they said they had scheduled another customer a little later than me and I wouldn't be able to get my normal nail tech. Although I was there first and scheduled first they favorited another customer. I chose to leave rather than be disrespected. I also tip much more than the average customer. I'm so happy that Tutti is open again! It's been a rough last 3 months with everything shut down! I love how sweet all the girls are in the salon and when I arrived my dear friend Debbie and I were literally jumping up and down to see each other and air hugging haha They were taking all the proper precautions to maintain cleaning in between clients and not allowing more than one customer per nail tech in the salon. Now about the salon and my nails I love getting my gel mani and spa pedicures here, the Green Tea Spa is my favorite! So relaxing, so comfortable I can spend hours here. Debbie always does a top notch job on nails. Taking her time and she always has me cracking up. It's such a nice distraction from all the day to day craziness and certainly a treat to pamper yourself in a beautiful salon. We live in PA and I come to this salon because my family lives in Fort Lee. And, I have been coming to this salon since the salon first opened! But, I will not come here anymore since I found another salon close by with a MUCH better service! I made my appointment 5 weeks ahead for my daughter's senior prom on 5/13. Since we live in PA, I made the appointment for Friday evening (5/12). And, I made my appointment with the same technician for both my daughter and I, back-to-back. I booked with the same technician because she was the only person I used! I even called a week before to confirm it! Due to Friday afternoon traffic from PA to NJ, we left earlier than normal. But we still ended up more than 30 minutes late! As frustrated as I was in traffic, there was nothing else I could do but cancelled appointment for myself and still keeping my daughter's appointment since her senior prom was on the next day. My technician then told me there was only one appointment made under her name and that she can't take anyone anymore! Apparently, the lady who initially made the appointment for me made a mistake and the lady who confirmed with me a week before also made the same mistake! But instead of trying to solve the problem for me, I was just told, 'sorry! I am busy!' She did not care even knowing I am not just an old customer, I am also a customer who was willing to go through all the troubles to travel this far to go to her. At that point, I was so frustrated! While stuck in traffic on Main Street, we saw another nail salon and went in. Although that salon was busy, they were happily helping us at such last minute and we were very happy at the end result! Almost 5 months later, I called them again to try to get an appointment. I was meeting up a friend at a bakery across the street before hand so I thought it was convenient to just go to them. Well I was told that the technician doesn't want to take me anymore and said I was mean to her! Unreal! I went back to check my text and even asked my friend to read my text for me to find any rudeness. All I said was I am very upset with the schedule mixed up and that I found another salon while stuck in traffic on Main Street. How unprofessional! Second time here, scheduled a mani/pedi, the lady Susan who was supposed to be there was about 10 minutes late first of all, so I was wasting time just pretending to be tended by the manager while she waited for her staff to arrive. I've gotten way better pedicures at cheaper places. Before she started my pedi, I TOLD HER I HAVE GEL ON AND IF WE SHOULD START SOAKING before I start the pedi. She merely acknowledged, but started my pedi and began soaking HALFWAY into my pedicure. After my pedi was done and we moved to start my mani, she kept asking me if this was gel or powder. I told her for the third time it was gel, but she kept insisting it was powder. She said maybe I don't know, and even explained how a powder manicure works, and I again said no, it's not powder. And even if it is "powder" I was the one who suggested we start soaking as soon as I started the pedi, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER PLACE DOES. After a good 1.5 hours into my entire appointment, my gel was finally removed. I had a work call in about 5 minutes, so I kindly asked Susan if I can just do the removal bc I had to go. I said I'm fine with just receiving the removal service, and that I'd come back another day to get my mani. Btw, I've gotten WAY BETTER and QUICKER service at less overpriced places. She then charged me for a full manicure price, arguing that I shouldn't have scheduled a mani then. She involved the manager, and they were EXTREMELY RUDE and not understanding, when I merely asked if I can just have the removal instead of the mani. They argued that I shouldn't have scheduled a mani then, but I explained that it was taking WAY LONGER than I expected, and if I were to continue with the mani, it would've ended at a total of 2 hours. For me to remove my sns and get a regular gel french manicure, I had to pay $85 + tip - nail shape never even unless you get it short (hence, no shape really) - my nails ripped so I went to go get it fixed. I did the pedicare and milky foot spa on Friday. Make appointment and go here with my friend. When I sit down the lady changed to another one. She charged me additional $10 to remove the gel from pedicure even just for the two toes. After she remove the gel I felt very hurt and tell her, her told me that is because of my previous color. When she start the foot spa, it is very very hurt and she still said it was not damaged. I cannot see my toes clearly BUT when I back my car and check my toes closely I saw my skin was off AS in third photo. Now after 2 days the cut on my start to scab AS in first photo. However, the spa water for my friend is white as milk but for me is blue. And changed to blue milk, the lady did my friend foot spa told me because she thought I did regular foot spa. I am very very angry about this lady who named maybe Bamance?(cannot remember her name clearly, but sure to start with B). Gel manicure, pedicure, and facials here are so clean, beautiful, and relaxing. I have a consistently great experience with service here and don't go anywhere else (have gone to many places in NYC). Everyone from the polished, and professional receptionist to the detailed technicians contribute to making Tutti a relaxing environment. My nails are difficult to do because I want a narrow and lean shape, and Ivy and Jeong nail it (!) every time. Also, obviously (and needless to say, as reviewers have said this), the interior is so sleek and elegant. Tea is always served with service. Had my European facial with Ivy and not only did I see amazing results, I felt rejuvenated afterwards. Highly suggest booking with Ivy when you go. I never put on a lot of make up to begin with, but after my facial I was able to drastically reduce my usage of foundation and felt really confident about my skin. I actually even feel like putting on make up now is unnecessary. My whole week ends up much better, because I feel great about the amazing service/results I get here. I actually visited with number of my friends. while some had wonderful experience, some had rather sub par service. For the first time, I was not satisfied with the quality and the service. But when revisited and had Chloe, I was satisfied with the service. I recommend making reservation beforehand with the nail artist you liked instead of just walking in. Service: All of the employees are very nice. They offer complimentary tea. Both times I visited, I had no problems with the service. They are extremely friendly and very approachable. They are very accommodating with walking in. For the second time I visited, I walked in at 7:15 while their closing time was 8. And yet they were able to do my nails. Chloe actually stayed overtime to finish my nail which I was very thankful for. Nail color selection: To be honest, there is not that wide variety of gel nail color. There are some luxury brand regular nail color available with extra cost (louboutin). But for gel nail, there were good numbers of gel nail colors to choose, but not the most wide selection. The manager told me they are ordering more, so might check in few weeks later. Price: I paid 35 for no design just full gel nail which is average considering the atmosphere and location. We've been coming here for a couple of times and have had good service. Unfortunately, my mom had an unpleasant experience with one of the workers this morning. The one who attended her was completely unaccommodating. While we were waiting for my mom's nails to dry, the worker NEVER checked on her. We had to approach her to ask if we could already leave, and she told us to wait for 5 more minutes. And she seemed irritated when we asked her. The second time we approached her, she told us that we could go. Usually, at this point, they apply cuticle oil on top of the nails. And so, we asked her about it. She told my mom that if she wanted the oil, she could apply it herself! And the worker said this in a rude manner. I gave this place a fair chance and I really wanted to like it since I live so close and it's so convenient. The first time my gel manicure peeled off completely within a week when I was already out of town. I went back to let them know when I got back in town and the manager or whoever she was told me I should've come back when the first nail started chipping, despite me saying I was on vacation when that happened and by the time the trip was over, my entire manicure had peeled off already by the time I got back into town. While the nail technician did make me bleed during my manicure, it actually looks decent (granted, it has been one day) but my problem is my eyebrow wax. It looks like I didn't even have them done. I voiced my concern and all I got was "well you have a lot of little hairs so there isn't anything we can do about it". They are the least helpful salon I have ever been to. And the manager that is there is even worse. She chased me out of the store to confirm how much I was tipping! Which made me so uncomfortable even though I had tipped 20% that I went back to give her more. So horrible. And this manager should be fired. I will not be going back. Ever.
